Su Yu and Huo Mian had lunch at Jiang Xiaowei's place before leaving. They were going to head straight back to the military hospital, but Huo Mian suddenly suggested that they go to Seductive Fox first.

Although Su Yu was confused, he still took her there.

Su Yu and Huo Mian walked in to see Rick.

"Rick… can you get in touch with my in-laws?"

"The truth is… I've been trying to reach them, but for some reason, I can't… I asked my brother to investigate, and he told me that Qin Chu's uncle had moved. I'm assuming they hid away for their own safety."

Suddenly, she saw Xixi by the doorway; the latter was here to lunch with Rick and was extremely excited to see Huo Mian.

"Mian! I haven't seen you in so long!"

Before Huo Mian could react, Xixi ran up to her and hugged her tightly.

Rick felt speechless as he placed his hand on his forehead; there his girlfriend goes again…

"Xixi… long time no see." Huo Mian smiled gently.

"I heard you're back but was hospitalized at the military hospital, so it is hard to see you. Rick won't take me, he told me that he'll make arrangements for dinner once you get better."

"Yeah, Rick is right."

"I heard you're pregnant, it's amazing! I'm so happy for you."

"What about you and Rick, when are you guys planning on having babies?" Huo Mian asked with a smile.

Upon hearing her question, Xixi's face blushed right away; she pouted and said, "Who said I was going to marry him? He's so bland."

"I wasn't going to propose anyway…" Rick retorted.

"Hey, fine, remember what you said! Make sure you never propose to me in the future, or else you're going to feel really bad for yourself…"

Xixi and Rick quickly began bickering…

After saying goodbye to the happy couple, Huo Mian and Su Yu walked out of Seductive Fox; to their surprise, they saw Huo Siqian's car slowly park on the street outside the club.

It was broad daylight, and Seductive Fox wasn't even open - why was Huo Siqian here?

His sudden appearance made both Su Yu and Huo Mian nervous…

Huo Siqian walked out of his car in a suit of dark purple; he wore a faint smile on his face.

From the moment he got off his car, his eyes never left Huo Mian…

"Don't worry, I won't let him do anything to you," Upon seeing Huo Mian so nervous, Su Yu pulled her behind him, creating a barrier between her and Huo Siqian.

"Mian, my little sister. I haven't seen you in so long, I've missed you."

"What do you want, Huo Siqian?" Su Yu asked impolitely.

"What else would I want? I'm just trying to catch up with my little sister."

"I'm not your sister…" Huo Mian opened her mouth icily, and Huo Siqian's gaze landed on her belly, "I heard you're pregnant with twins? Haha… congratulations."

Upon seeing Huo Siqian's weird expression, Huo Mian began more nervous than ever and instinctively tugged down her shirt, trying to cover up her pregnancy.
