"Can you try to suppress the news?" Chu Wuyou was aware that the only plausible solution right now was to plead Ye Lanchen to suppress the incident from the public's knowledge.

Ye Lanchen raised his eyebrows at her bold request.

"Why don't you tell me honestly what it is that you're afraid of?" His gaze darkened as he raised the question. Why was she so terrified that the news would spread? Was she worried that someone in particular would learn about it?

"I'm afraid that Grandpa will know." The corner of her lips twitched as she heaved a sigh.

Thinking that the nonchalant reaction from Ye Lanchen was a result of ignorance to the seriousness of the problem, she repeated the words that her grandfather told her last time.

"To give everything away! You can now imagine how crazy my Grandpa is about this." She stressed again.

She reckoned Ye Lanchen would not lower his guard now.
