It moved its trident and hundreds of thick water tentacles formed around it before they came at me.

I couldn't help but be surprised to see his quick water manipulation skills; I have only seen such skills in the commander of the beston archipelago. She was easily able to deal with three enemies of the same level and did not show fear to those levels above her.

This Blue Water Apeman has similar confidence; with this pure water elemental energy and water around, it would even be able to run away from the High Grandmaster.

It is the reason why I did not reveal my identity to it; if it tried to run away, I don't know whether I would be able to catch it, and even defeating it with raw strength would be difficult.

I begin with the saber.

As the power of the first boost filled me, my speed increased suddenly, and I directly jumped on the tentacles. They tried to wrap around me, but I was too fast. I have avoided all the watery tentacles and appeared in front of it.

I was about to attack it when I saw the huge watery fist coming down at it; I will be able to take it without using the shields, but I am sure it will not be the only thing it will be capable of, and I need to guard against it all.

If I get caught, all my advantages will vanish, and even blood burn would turn obsolete. So, being cautious in dealing with such an enemy is a must.

"You are quite a quick human," It said, but it was no praise, and nor did I have time to think about it as next second, all the tentacles had morphed into the hands, and all of them were now coming to capture me with more power and speed.

I could tell it had begun releasing its own power into the water to strengthen its manipulation of the water.

I harnessed all the power of the first boost and also created the field of disruption around me. It is not big, just covering a meter area around me, but it will be enough to not die before knowing how; with it, I will at least have a chance to defend.

There is water everywhere; it is its domain. Without a field of disruption, it could create a dagger right behind my head and pierce me through it; I did not want that to happen.

With all the power of the first boost, I immediately increased my speed and avoided the hands coming at me before appearing above it and slashed down the saber with all my strength.

SLUSH!

Out of a sudden, a disk of extremly concentrated water appeared above its head, and my saber pierced through it before I started moving toward it.

In less than a second, I saw my saber rapidly losing its momentum and a tentacle appearing in the disk and gripping my sword, making it lose the momentum even faster; while it was happening, the hands were coming at me with even greater momentum.

The Grimm watching it all with a mild smile on its face; since the fight began, it had not moved even an inch from its place. The only thing it is doing is moving its stone trident to manipulate the water.

"Fuck!"

I cursed, and without wasting any moment, I activated the second boost and ripped my saber out of the disk, and disappeared from my spot while the hundreds of hands followed behind me.

"There is no running away, human; you were doomed the moment you dared to step into the lake," said The Blue Water Apeman, and a powerful aura released from its body like a raging river, and it pointed its trident at me.

"Give up your struggles, human; they are futile," It said, and I found thousands of hands materialized around me; some were extremly close to me.

I could see a surprised frown appear on its face, and I knew the reason. It had tried to manipulate water in the disruption field; it is still trying but unable to shake the water inside.

"Frustrated?" I asked with a smile, and it had instantly made it angry; I could see the fire of anger lighting in its eyes, but it had controlled it.

"It seemed like you have skills, human, but these little tricks will not save you," It said, and thousands of hands came at me.

The full power of the second boost rumbled through me like a storm, and I disappeared from my spot and appeared directly behind and attacked. It had surprised it, but it had reacted instantly, and another disc of water materialized in front of me.

SLUSSH!

This disk is much thicker; it felt like a very strong, flexible metal as my sword crashed against it. Seeing the disk, I did not waste any time and quickly retrieved the sword and disappeared from my place, as the hands were not far away from reaching me.

I appeared in front of it and attacked, but once again, my attack was blocked by it. It happened when I appared to its right and left, up and down; these thick water disks seemed everywhere, creating an impenetrable defense.

It is quite frustrating to deal with such defense with the raw power when the enemy has all the advantages, but I am not out of the options yet.
