Tong Yu brought Huo Yao to the changing room and showed her to the inner room. Both rooms were separated by a wall and the room inside was not as big. He explained. “Your older brother will be coming in to change after he is done with this song. I am worried that you might run into each other.”

Huo Yao nodded. “It’s fine.”

“Take a seat. Wen has gone to the bathroom, but she ought to be back real soon.” Tong Yu pointed at the seat nearby before walking out and closing the door behind him.

Wen came in before long with a gift box in her hands.

“Did I keep you waiting?” Wen put down the gift box. She had the honor of getting her picture taken with Huo Yao previously, so she was particularly excited to see Huo Yao.

Huo Yao nodded politely. “I just got here.”

Wen acknowledged gently. She glanced at Huo Yao before opening the gift box to reveal a smoky gray, full-length chiffon gown encrusted with diamonds.

“Why don’t you change into the gown first? After that, I will do your hair and makeup,” said Wen before handing the dress to Huo Yao.

Wen left the room so that she could get changed.

After waiting outside for a few minutes, Wen finally went in when she heard Huo Yao knocking from inside.

Wen was awestruck after Huo Yao changed into the gown.

The smoky gray gown brought out her flawless complexion making her even more radiant. The light translucent gauzy fabric had a gradient in its design and her exquisite collar bone could be seen.

Her slender arms were covered in diaphanous sleeves. The embroidery at her waist brought out her slender waist perfectly. The floor-length skirt was light and ethereal making her at once lively and elegant.

“This dress is perfect,” said Wen after snapping out of her daze.

Huo Yao raised her brow.

Wen walked over and held her chin, deep in thought. She got Huo Yao to take a seat before she opened her makeup box and started doing Huo Yao’s makeup and hair.

Huo Xiang had come back to the outer room and was getting his makeup done, so they could clearly hear his voice from the inner room.

However, they did not talk much. After Huo Xiang’s makeup was done, he went back to the stage to perform, without taking any rest.

It took Huo Yao almost 20 minutes to get styled.

Her long straight hair was now slightly curled. Her hair was braided on both sides of her temples and pinned loosely to the back of her head. The hair accessories and light makeup made her look particularly youthful and soft. She did not seem as serious as usual.

“You look like a goddess,” sighed Wen.

Huo Yao could be considered as the most gorgeous woman in the entertainment industry. She was absolutely certain that no one out there could surpass Huo Yao.

Wen nodded proudly.

It was already 11:35 pm when Tong Yu knocked on the door.

Wen brought a pair of shoes over to Huo Yao for her to change into before answering the door.

“Are you all set?” asked Tong Yu standing at the door.

“Uh huh.” Wen stood to the side.

Tong Yu was blown away when he saw Huo Yao sitting inside. After some time, he finally said, “Yao, are you sure you don’t want to join the trade?”

Huo Yao went quiet.

Tong Yu cleared his throat and composed himself. He checked the time and saw that it was already 11:59 pm.

He said a few words before finally announcing. “Let’s go. Time for the mystery guest to appear.”

Huo Yao raised her head and glanced at Tong Yu. She caught him checking the time, but did not think much of it and simply followed after him.
