Tong Yu suddenly called Huo Yao and asked to meet a few days after the college entrance exam.

Since Huo Yao was free, Song Ning had sent her for driving lessons so that she could get a driver’s license. On the day Huo Yao met Tong Yu, she had just taken the first part of the exam.

She arrived punctually at 1:00 pm at the café they had agreed on.

“Your brother told me about how you did in the exam. Have you been studying to get your driver’s license?” Tong Yu smiled as he chatted with Huo Yao after ordering some coffee.

Huo Yao sat down and nodded.

“My friend is a driving instructor. Why don’t I get him to teach you? This way, you can finish learning how to drive quicker. It beats waiting in long queues at the driving school to practice,” said Tong Yu enthusiastically.

Huo Yao pondered for two seconds and turned him down. “Thanks. I am very slow, so I think it is better for me to go to the driving school.”

After all, she had already paid in full.

Tong Yu did not insist.

The waiter came over with their coffee and left after setting the cups on the table.

Tong Yu raised his hand and gestured for Huo Yao to drink. He picked up his spoon and stirred his coffee gently. He said, “I asked you out because I have a favor to ask.”

Huo Yao raised her brow. “Does my brother want me to appear on some show?”

Tong Yu’s hands froze before he cleared his throat and continued. “Well, it is not a program. It’s his concert. I want you to appear as the mystery guest during the finale.”

“Shouldn’t you ask someone in the entertainment industry to appear as the mystery guest? Am I the right person for this?” Huo Yao picked up her coffee.

Although she did not keep an eye on the entertainment news or chase any celebrities, she had some idea of how concerts worked.

Since Tong Yu wanted someone to appear as a part of the finale, he ought to invite someone who mattered in the industry.

Tong Yu just knew Huo Yao would say this, so he said, “Ever since you appeared on the program with your older brother, you have gained a lot of fans. It is more meaningful to invite you as the mystery guest than inviting any other top celebrity.”

Huo Yao got what Tong Yu meant. In reality, it was all about satisfying public curiosity about her.

She contemplated without immediately agreeing to it or refusing Tong Yu. She looked at him and asked. “My brother doesn’t know about this, right?”

“Uh huh.” Tong Yu cleared his throat. “He would never agree if he finds out that I want to invite you as the mystery guest.”

After all, the little princess had rejected every single brand requesting to do advertisements with his little sister ever since the program. Regardless of how much they were willing to pay, he turned them down.

He was insanely protective of his little sister and did not care about the money.

Tong Yu paused before he continued. “Just think of it as helping me… No, I mean helping your older brother by fulfilling his fans’ dreams.”

Tong Yu was a smart man. He knew Huo Yao would never say no if it meant helping the little princess.

Huo Yao leaned into the backrest lazily for a minute before she said, “When is the concert?”

Tong Yu’s eyes lit up and hurriedly said, “In about ten days. Also, it is being held right here.”

Huo Yao nodded. “I’ll do it.”

“Perfect.” Tong Yu clapped. A thought crossed his mind and he added. “Keep it a secret and don’t let your older brother know about it.”
