Lu Xia frowned. “Something wrong with the fire protection?”

“That’s right. I am sure you wouldn’t want to stay in a hotel with a fire hazard, right?” said the front desk officer.

She paused before she continued. “Of course, we will refund you double the fees of your room to make up for it.”

Lu Xia felt even more annoyed to hear this. However, she did not have the cheek to kick a fuss like a shrew from the countryside, so she pressed her forehead and said impatiently, “Fine. Got it.”

She slammed the door shut loudly.

This stupid countryside! She could not even stay at the hotel in peace.

Lu Xia packed her luggage angrily and went down to the main hall where she gave the front desk officer her identification card and key card.

The front desk officer had already prepared the refund. She seemed completely relieved when Lu Xia came to return the key card. Lu Xia failed to notice her expression and simply took the money and headed out.
