On the land where the smoke of war had not yet completely dissipated, the sparks of hope stubbornly gathered. Ge Xiaolun, leading the remnants of his forces and the cadres he had recruited along the way, overcame numerous twists and turns and finally successfully joined forces with Liu Chuang's troops who were holding the line in the direction of the North Star.

When the two figures, who had been called upon countless times in the flames of war and carried countless hopes, finally embraced tightly, all the soldiers around them couldn't help but let out a long-suppressed cheer.

"Lun'er! Master Xin!" Liu Chuang, a man of steel, choked with emotion as he pounded Ge Xiaolun's back. "Damn it! I knew you wouldn't die!"

The confusion after the sinking of the Juxia, the crushing defeat of Frazier, the pressure of bearing it all alone... all seemed to find an outlet at this moment.

The three sat together, disregarding their appearance, eagerly sharing their experiences since their separation. Ge Xiaolun spoke of Frazier's arduous battle and Angel Yan's "sacrifice," his voice low and somber; Liu Chuang recounted his struggles against demons and scum, as well as the oath of "Great Wall One," his tone resolute; Zhao Xin recounted how he led the people to break through the encirclement, narrowly escaping death. Every word was steeped in blood and fire, yet also shone with an indomitable will.

As time went on, more and more people appeared at the assembly point.

Lena's arrival caused a small commotion. She looked at her former comrades with a complex expression, but ultimately walked over. Her appearance meant that, apart from Cheng Yaowen who was still working with Sun Wukong and Soton, and Qiangwei who had chosen to follow Liang Bing, the core members of the Super Soldier Squad, after enduring the catastrophe and being scattered to the ends of the earth, had finally, miraculously, reunited once again!

On the other side, the angels also spontaneously gathered together.

Angels Zhixin, Leng, Yitian, Lingxi, and Fanxing... these high-ranking angels stood together, forming another beautiful and powerful sight. They may have had differences of ideology and quarrels in the past, but after experiencing a fierce battle with the Fallen Angels and demons together, a closer bond is forming against the backdrop of Queen Keisha's fall.

Zhi Xin relayed the news to Leng that Angel Yan had become the new queen. Although Leng still showed some resentment, her eyes revealed that she had accepted the fact. They exchanged the intelligence they had gathered, analyzed the threat posed by Hua Ye and Karl, and also paid attention to the fate of the Super Soldier Corps and humanity on Earth.

Inside the ancient and empty hall, only eternal silence and floating dust kept them company. The leader of the Giant Wolf Civilization, a burly figure clad in heavy fur armor, stood humbly bowing below the hall. His voice, unusually clear in the silence, carried an undisguised confusion and a hint of dissatisfaction.

"My God Karl," he began, his tone respectful yet skeptical, "if it were merely a matter of sending the fleet of my Giant Wolf civilization to Earth, with our firepower and military strength, I believe that in less than a month, we could completely conquer that pre-nuclear civilization planet and make humanity grovel at our feet."

He looked up, his eyes filled with confusion: "But what about you? You've dragged all sorts of gods—demons, angels, even those ancient scum—into this war! We, the warriors of the giant wolves, are now caught in a dilemma, unable to fight or not to fight! We've become victims caught in the crossfire of the gods' power struggle! I simply...can't understand why you had to turn what should have been a simple conquest into this complex and costly mess?"

On his throne, Karl slowly lowered the quill that seemed to forever write the mysteries of the universe. He raised his eyes, which seemed to pierce through the void, and calmly gazed at the giant wolf chieftain below. His voice was ethereal and indifferent, as if stating a simple truth:

"The purpose of sending you to fight against 'God' is not to destroy a planet, but to enable your civilization to come to know 'God' and understand what 'God' is."

He leaned forward slightly, his tone carrying a scholarly inquiry: "Imagine, if the 'god' behind a civilization is not overthrown, then what's the point of temporarily destroying the civilization itself? As long as the 'god' remains, the flame of civilization can be rekindled at any time, and order can be reshaped. Destroying appearances is futile."

The giant wolf leader desperately tried to defend himself, attempting to prove the value of his civilization: "We are meaningful! After conquering the Earth, we can do many things! We can exploit its resources, enslave its population, and spread the word about our God..."

"Conquest? Enslavement?" Karl interrupted him gently, a hint of pity in his voice. "That's just an excuse for you to satisfy your own desire for conquest, a boring game that low-level civilizations play in a repetitive cycle."

His gaze swept past the giant wolf leader, as if looking towards a more distant cosmic landscape: "What I want is to overthrow the 'theocracy' established by the angelic civilization, which has imprisoned the known universe for tens of thousands of years! To usher in a completely new era dominated by the knowledge of the void!"

Karl slowly raised his hand, a wisp of void particles constantly shifting between reality and illusion, radiating an aura of devouring everything, swirling around his fingertips. For the first time, his eyes revealed an almost fanatical devotion:

"I believe that in this vast universe, knowledge is the only and supreme existence."

"And the greatest challenge we face is that new knowledge will completely change everything we know."

His voice sounded like the chanting of an ancient prophecy:

"From the instinctive terror of the Shenhe civilization when they first sensed nuclear energy; to the revolutionary discovery and understanding of the dark matter world; and then to the dark antimatter theory, which has almost reshaped our understanding of the composition of the universe..."

His gaze was fixed on the dangerous wisp of void particle at his fingertips, as if it held the answer to everything:

"And now... we stand before an unprecedented threshold. We are about to face an even more thorough and fundamental revolution in knowledge—the Void World!"

"This is the true future, the reality that civilization will ultimately have to face. As for the fate of Earth, and the gains and losses of the giant wolves, they are nothing but... insignificant dust in the face of the great undertaking of the Void's descent."

Karl's words, like cold laws, echoed throughout the main hall of Deathsong Academy. The giant wolf chieftain stood frozen in place. He might still not fully comprehend the so-called "Void," but he clearly sensed that in Death God Karl's grand blueprint, he and his giant wolf civilization, even Earth, angels, and demons, were merely pawns propelling "knowledge" forward... or even data about to be rewritten. A chill from the depths of his soul instantly enveloped him.
