"As expected... this is the result?" he muttered to himself, as if this crushing defeat, in which he had no chance of fighting back, was something he had anticipated all along.

He struggled to stand up completely, deactivated the transformation, and the Kabuto insect device flew back to his hand, somewhat dim.

"Let's go back first." He took a deep breath, suppressing the pain in his body and the surging emotions, and walked unsteadily towards his temporary residence. This one-sided teaching from the "future" had undoubtedly left a deep mark on his heart.

Lin Yu, dragging his tired body, had just pushed open the door when he saw He Xi leisurely lying on his sofa, her silver hair cascading down the cushions, holding a cup of hot tea that she had somehow gotten her hands on, as if she were the master of the house.

The team members nodded silently and followed Lena onto the returning Dawn III transport plane.

Inside the cabin, the atmosphere was somewhat tense. Just then, a clear and grateful voice came over the plane's intercom—the voice of the ground command center, and also the voice of the millions of surviving citizens:

"Thank you, soldiers of the Super Soldier Company! You've worked hard!"

The broadcast paused, then the voice became even more firm and powerful:

"Leave the rest of the task to us!"

These simple words, like a warm current, instantly dispelled the fatigue and heaviness in the cabin. The people they protected understood and accepted the peace they had won with their blood and sweat. The plane's engines roared, carrying these scarred but unwavering young heroes, soaring across the sky, heading home for rest and preparation for battle.
