It was Le Bao's first time visiting the countryside, and everything was fascinating to her. Lu Shulang took his little sister around, while Lu Yifan followed behind the two little ones, occasionally taking notes with his phone.

"Little sister, I'll take you to see the geese."

Wen's father built a shed in the open space next to the house and raised some chickens, ducks and geese.

"Watching geese"

The two little ones held hands and came outside the shed. When the chickens, ducks and geese inside saw people coming, they stretched their necks and made all sorts of noises.

"Giggle, quack, ooh."

Le Bao covered his ears and yelled, "Stop making noise!"

Their little cries were quite penetrating, and the shed fell silent for a brief moment before they started chirping even louder a few seconds later.

"Little sister, they must be hungry. I'll go find them some food. You wait here for me."

Lu Yifan was making a phone call not far away. He glanced at the little guy who was obediently squatting outside the fence, and then looked away.

"Hey goose, are you hungry?"

A snow-white goose poked its head out of the fence and called out to Le Bao.

Le Bao curiously went up to touch the goose's head and talk to it.

"Little sister, I found this. Grandma said they all like to eat it."

Lu Shulang brought over the radish leaves they had just picked.

"I can't get in, bro."

The food has been brought, but the two little ones can't throw it in.

"I understand, we need to open the door."

The gate to the fence is very simple; it's just a rope hanging from a bamboo section. You can open the gate by simply taking the rope down.

Lu Shulang took off the rope, opened the small door made of bamboo, and threw the radish leaves in his hand inside.

But when he opened the door, a large goose that was standing at the door ran out.

Le Bao was still holding the radish leaves her brother had given her. When the goose came out, it stared at the leaves in her hand.

Le Bao, who was holding the leaf, was unaware of anything at the time. She only saw the goose quickly finish eating the leaf in her hand and then put its mouth on her chubby little hand.

"Don't bite the baby, boohoo."

After being pecked by the goose, Le Bao turned and ran away, crying and shouting for help as he ran.

Lu Shulang followed behind.

When Lu Yifan heard the sound, he turned around and saw Le Bao running ahead, with a goose chasing after her and Lu Shulang chasing after the goose.

"Waaaaah, big brother, save me, waaaaah!"

Lu Yifan ran up quickly, picked up Le Bao, and kicked the goose away.

The goose, still unwilling to give up after being kicked away, ran forward again to peck at Le Bao's feet. Lu Yifan had no choice but to hold Le Bao in one arm and grab the goose by the neck with the other.

Seeing that the goose had been subdued by its older brother, Le Bao slid off its brother's arms, howled a few times, and then went to get revenge.

She wrapped her arms around the goose's neck, pressed it tightly against her chest, and started crying again.

The adults who heard Le Bao crying came out of the house and saw Le Bao hugging a big goose, tilting his head back and wailing.

"What's wrong?"

Wen Xian walked over and found Le Bao's strange posture somewhat amusing.

"Waaaah, it's bad! The goose bit the nest, the nest is injured!"

Seeing this, Wen Xian quickly pulled the little guy's hand, and the spot where he had been pricked turned red.

"That goose is so mean! It dared to bite our baby. Liangliang will help you beat it up."

Wen Xian pretended to hit the goose a few times.

"Waaaah, I'm going to beat it up, I'm going to eat its flesh."

The vengeful little tyrant still remembered his brother's words on the bus about wanting to eat goose.

"Okay, okay, let's have Grandpa kill it, and we'll give Le Bao a goose leg for lunch today, alright?"

Wen's mother watched with great delight and told Wen's father to take the goose to kill it.

Wen Xian carried the child into the house, applied some ointment to her, and then carried her to the kitchen.

In rural areas, earthen stoves are still preserved, and dishes cooked in pots heated by firewood are incredibly fragrant.

There were a few small sweet potatoes left in the stove, and it's just the right time to take them out.

The sweet potato's exterior was charred black, but when broken open, the flesh inside was steaming hot and fragrant.

"Come here, Le Bao, look what this is!"

Wen Xian carefully broke open a sweet potato, blew on it, and fed it to Le Bao little by little.

Lu Yifan took care of his younger brother Lu Shulang, breaking off a small piece, wrapping it in a tissue, and handing it to him.

"Wow, that's great! I want more!"

Feeding her little by little couldn't satisfy the little chubby girl's big appetite, so she anxiously reached out to hold the food herself.

"You can only eat the yellow part inside; you can't eat the black part outside."

After Wenxian tried it, it wasn't so hot anymore. She wrapped it in a tissue and let the little guy hold it and eat it himself.

The chubby boy took a big bite and shook his head with delight. He would peek at the fire in the stove one moment and stand on tiptoe to look at the food in the pot the next.

After finishing his meal, the fair-skinned little guy turned into a bearded uncle with a mouth full of black charcoal. The chubby little girl, however, was oblivious, grinning foolishly with her big white teeth.

Lu Yifan took a picture of this scene and posted it in the family group chat, followed by a string of laughing and crying emojis. Only Lu Jianguo thought his baby was incredibly cute.

Little foodie Le Bao has been staying in the kitchen ever since he tasted something delicious.

Every time Wen's mother cooked a dish, she would give the little guy a few bites first.

The final main dish was the goose that had just pecked at us.

The goose probably never dreamed that its life would end prematurely because of the arrival of a little kid.

One second it was chasing people all over the place, and the next second it appeared on the dining table.

When the goose was cooked, the two little ones waiting in front of the stove each received a goose leg.

Before the main meal even started, Le Bao had already finished eating in the kitchen.

When it was time to eat properly, the little guy symbolically ate two bites of the food his aunt fed him and then refused to eat anymore.

"Hey, wanna watch Peppa Pig?"

With nothing else to do, Le Bao set her sights on her aunt's phone.

Wen Xian thought that everyone needed to eat, so she would feel more at ease putting the TV on for the little one and having him near her. So she used her phone to play Peppa Pig for Le Bao.

And so, while the adults ate and chatted, Le Bao was engrossed in watching TV on his phone.

When everyone finished eating, the little guy kept nodding his head, stubbornly refusing to sleep.

This adorable appearance completely charmed Mr. and Mrs. Wen.

Wen Xian put away her phone, gently picked up Le Bao, and put her on the bed.

"Mother."

Once placed on the bed, Le Bao murmured "Mommy" softly, smacked her lips, turned over, and fell asleep.

Wen Xian covered the little one with the blanket, kissed her forehead, and gently walked out.

"Mom, is my little sister asleep?"

Lu Shulang stood at the door waiting for his mother to come out.

"Shh, your little sister just fell asleep. Don't disturb her, okay?"

Lu Shulang actually wanted to sleep with his sister, but he had eaten too much at noon and couldn't fall asleep.

"Mom, can I sleep with my little sister later?"

"Okay, but you have to be quiet. Tell Mom when you're sleepy."

"Okay, I won't sleep now, I'll get sleepy soon."

Having gotten the answer he wanted, Lu Shulang went out to digest his food; he needed to get some sleep quickly.
