Chapter 63 Red Mane Breaks the Formation

The transport ship slowly landed near the cave on the outer planet of the Shellloa race. The hatch opened, and the figure of the Red-Maned Fiery Steed Zero slowly stepped out. Its golden-red armor gleamed in the sunlight, and a powerful energy wave rushed out, intimidating everything around it.

Ye Fan controlled his battle armor, his eyes quickly scanning the surroundings, and he was instantly stunned—the originally hidden cave had been completely excavated by the Human Alliance soldiers, and temporary guard posts had been set up around it. More than a dozen soldiers were on high alert with weapons in hand, and several researchers were monitoring the energy fluctuations of the star gate around the edge of the cave.

"Corporal Ye Fan! We have expanded the entrance to the crypt and completed the initial debugging of the stargate, as instructed by Commander Yao Guang!" The guard captain strode forward, saluted Ye Fan, and said respectfully, "We can activate the stargate at any time to assist you in crossing!"

Ye Fan nodded slightly and replied through the armor's communicator: "Thank you for your hard work. Immediately adjust the size of the stargate so I can carry my equipment and ammunition boxes with me."

Previously, the stargate could only accommodate one person at a time. Now, wearing heavy armor and carrying supply crates filled with weapons, ammunition, and repair materials, the stargate's teleportation channel must be expanded to allow him to pass through successfully. (However, only one life form can be teleported at a time.)

"Understood!" the researchers responded immediately, quickly operating the monitoring equipment. "Initiating the stargate expansion program, energy guidance in progress. Comrade Ye Fan, please approach the stargate, release your armor's energy, and simultaneously connect with the stargate's patterns!"

Ye Fan controlled the battle suit and slowly walked towards the stargate at the bottom of the cave. The equipment and ammunition boxes on his back were firmly fixed, and the boxes were connected to the energy interface of the battle suit to ensure that they would not fall off during the journey.

The moment the Crimson Steed Zero approached the stargate, the core energy chamber of the armor blazed with light, red energy spreading along the armor's patterns and flowing into the stargate. Upon detecting Ye Fan, the stargate trembled violently, its pale blue light surging, and the teleportation channel slowly expanded, widening from its original capacity of just one person to a size large enough to accommodate both the armor and supply crates.

"Stargate expansion complete! Energy stable, ready for passage at any time!" The researchers' voices came through promptly.

Ye Fan took a deep breath, suppressing his anxiety, and checked the status of his armor and supply crate again: "Armor energy normal, supply crate secured, preparing to cross!"

As he finished speaking, he maneuvered his battle armor and stepped into the stargate's teleportation channel. A powerful suction force enveloped him, and the armor's energy shield automatically activated, resisting the impact of spatial distortion. The supply crates remained firmly attached to the armor's back without the slightest movement.

The dizziness vanished in an instant. Ye Fan maneuvered his battle armor, landing steadily at the bottom of the pool. The light from the stargate gradually subsided, disappearing back into the water. He quickly activated the armor's propulsion function, carrying the supply crate, and slowly swam to the surface, arriving at the place where he had parted ways with Han Mo's team.

As soon as Ye Fan stepped ashore, he sensed something was wrong—the surroundings were deathly silent, the signs of the previous fight were still clear, and a large number of corpses of the Keloya race were scattered on the ground, their green blood soaking into the soil and emitting a pungent stench.

He maneuvered his armor forward slowly, carefully examining the scene. His heart clenched involuntarily—the ground was littered with the corpses of the Keloyan race, but there wasn't a single human corpse, and Han Mo's team was nowhere to be seen.

"Captain Han Mo? Team members?" Ye Fan called out through the armor's communicator, his voice carrying out, but he received no response. Only the rustling of the wind through the grass and trees sounded particularly eerie.

He dared not be careless and immediately activated the armor's detection function, scanning the surrounding environment from all angles to check for potential dangers and search for traces of Han Mo's team. On the detector screen, dense traces of residual energy appeared, all energy marks from the Keloyan race and human power armor, but there were no signs of life.

Just then, Ye Fan's gaze was drawn to the distribution of corpses on the ground—the corpses of the Keloya race were not piled up haphazardly, but rather along a path, accumulating all the way into the depths of the valley, as if they had been killed along the way, leaving behind traces.

"They must have retreated deeper into the valley!" Ye Fan was overjoyed, instantly understanding. Han Mo's team hadn't been completely wiped out; instead, they fought their way back, moving deeper into the valley. These corpses of the Keloya people were traces of their battle.

Without further hesitation, he maneuvered his armor, carrying the supply crate, and raced towards the depths of the valley. The Red-Maned Steed Zero's propulsion system was operating at full speed, and the armor, like an arrow released from a bow, weaved through the vegetation, its golden-red silhouette shattering the silence at an astonishing pace.

The closer they got to the depths of the valley, the more corpses of the Shelloa race lay on the ground, their green blood flowing in streams, and the pungent stench growing ever stronger. Ye Fan carefully examined the wounds on the corpses and discovered that most of them were caused by sharp weapons cutting and energy impacts—marks of attacks from power armor and pulse weapons.

What excited him even more was that as they went deeper, the time of death of the Keloa corpses was getting closer and closer—the blood of the corpses had not completely coagulated, and some of the corpses were even twitching slightly. Obviously, Han Mo's team was not far away, and the battle might still be going on.

Ye Fan immediately increased his speed and adjusted the combat mode of his battle armor to full power. The missile hive on his back slowly unfolded, with sixty armor-piercing missiles and forty explosive rounds ready to be fired. The floating cannons on both sides of his shoulders floated up, their muzzles charging and emitting a sharp, cold light. The power chain sword was also ready to be drawn at any time.

After running for a few more minutes, the sounds of intense gunfire and roars, along with the ear-piercing clashing of power armor, came from afar. The atmosphere of battle grew stronger, and Ye Fan's heart began to pound wildly—they had finally found Han Mo's team!

He maneuvered his armor, slowly slowing down and using the vegetation as cover to stealthily approach, looking in the direction from which the sound came. The scene before him made his pupils shrink, and a surge of anger instantly ignited within him.

Halfway up the mountainside in the valley, Han Mo's team was surrounded by thousands of Shellloa people, forming a tight encirclement. The team members relied on a huge rock to build a temporary defensive circle, and everyone was in extremely poor condition.

The three team members' power armor was completely damaged, and they were covered in wounds. Their green alien blood was mixed with human blood, making them look miserable. However, they still gripped their weapons tightly and fought hard to resist the siege of the Keloa race. Every swing and every shot was made with all their might.

Captain Han Mo's armor was severely damaged, with the chest armor dented and the energy core glowing faintly, clearly indicating that it was damaged. Holding an energy rifle, he fired continuously, accurately killing the Keloa race charging at the front. His eyes were firm as he fiercely protected the team members around him.

The most conspicuous was the soldier without power armor (his power armor was given to Ye Fan). He was tightly protected by everyone in the center of the defensive circle, half-crouching on the ground, holding a pulse sniper rifle in his hand, the muzzle of which was aimed at the distant Keloan race. Every time he pulled the trigger, a Keloan race fell to the ground.

His arms were covered in wounds, blood staining his clothes, his face was as pale as paper, and his breath was weak, yet he still stared intently at his target, his eyes sharp as knives—it was the squad's only pulse sniper rifle, their only weapon capable of suppressing the enemy at long range, and now their ammunition was running low, making every bullet extremely precious.

Thousands of Shellloa humans roared madly, surging towards the defensive perimeter like a tidal wave. Their claws lashed out, and beams of energy shot out in unison. The rocky surface was riddled with bullet holes and scratches, and the defensive perimeter teetered on the brink of collapse, on the verge of being breached at any moment.

"Ammo exhausted! Captain, I can't hold on any longer!" A team member's voice was filled with despair. His rifle was out of bullets, and he could only wield a broken alloy dagger to fight the charging Keloyan race at close range. His arm was slashed by sharp claws, and blood gushed out.

Han Mo's face was ashen as he desperately killed a Keloa race that pounced on him, roaring in a deep voice, "Hold on! Even if we die, we must wear these beasts down!" His energy rifle had only a few bullets left, and his heart was filled with despair—they were out of ammunition and supplies and could not hold on for much longer. He hoped that Ye Fan could deliver his personal terminal to General Su Lan.

The sniper slowly raised his hand, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, looked at the three bullets left in his hand, a resolute glint in his eyes, and aimed again at the leader of the Keloyan race in the distance. He wanted to kill the enemy in the last moment and buy his teammates a chance to survive.

Just then, a golden-red figure suddenly burst out from among the grass and trees, and a powerful energy wave swept across the entire area, followed by a thunderous roar—Ye Fan had finally arrived!

"Everyone, hold on! This is Ye Fan! I'm back to support you!" Ye Fan's voice echoed throughout the battlefield through the armor's communicator, his tone firm and carrying an undeniable power, like a ray of light in the darkness, illuminating the hope of Han Mo's team.

Upon hearing this, Han Mo and his teammates froze instantly. Turning around, they were filled with disbelief, shock, and ecstasy when they saw the figure of the Red-Maned Fiery Steed Zero—it was Ye Fan! He had really returned! And he had brought such a powerful power armor with him!

Before they could react, Ye Fan had already piloted his battle armor, power at full throttle, charging towards the encirclement of the Keloyan race. "Activate the Hive Missiles, full-area attack!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the missile hive on the back of the Red-Maned Fiery Steed Zero exploded instantly, and forty explosive missiles shot out like a meteor shower, accompanied by a piercing sound as they blasted towards the densely packed Shellloa race.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" A series of earth-shattering explosions rang out, flames shot into the sky, and thick smoke billowed. Each missile that landed created a huge crater, blasting the surrounding Keloya people to pieces. Green blood and limb fragments flew everywhere, and a pungent stench mixed with the smell of gunpowder permeated the entire valley.

The densely packed Keloa race was instantly blasted into a blank space by the missiles, creating a huge gap in the encirclement, and the originally frenzied offensive was instantly stopped.

The Keloyan race was terrified by the sudden attack, screaming and fleeing in all directions, only to be hit by a series of missiles and fall one after another. The screams and explosions were intertwined, creating an extremely tragic scene.

"Activate the external drone swarm and carry out a dual mission! One part to transport weapons and ammunition, and the other part to repair the damaged power armor!" Ye Fan ordered in a deep voice, controlling the battle armor while pressing the start button on the supply box.

The supply crate hatch opened instantly, and a swarm of dozens of small drones flew out quickly, splitting into two teams. One team flew towards Han Mo's team's defensive perimeter, carrying supplies such as rifles, bullets, and energy batteries; the other team flew towards the wounded team member's damaged power armor, carrying heavy repair materials and energy gels.

The drone swarm moved nimbly, dodging the attacks of the Keloyan race, and quickly reached the defensive perimeter. "Catch the supplies!" Ye Fan's voice rang out, and Han Mo and his team members reacted immediately, reaching out to receive the weapons and ammunition delivered by the drone swarm.

"Bullets! And energy batteries!" A team member looked at the supplies in his hand, his voice trembling with excitement. He immediately changed to a new magazine, raised his rifle again, and launched an attack on the fleeing Keloyan race, his fighting spirit soaring instantly.

Meanwhile, the drone swarm responsible for repairing the power armor had landed on the damaged armor. The robotic arms operated nimbly, precisely applying repair materials to the damaged areas of the armor, and injecting energy gel into the core of the power armor to quickly repair the damaged circuitry and armor.

"Power armor under repair. Basic repairs expected to be completed in three minutes, restoring 60% of defense and combat power!" The electronic notification from the drone swarm rang out, further invigorating the members of Han Mo's squad—they finally had the means to fight back!

Han Mo gripped his fully loaded energy rifle, his eyes filled with gratitude and admiration as he looked at the Red-Maned Fiery Steed Zero charging among the Keloyan race: "Ye Fan! Well done! Brothers, follow me!"

"Charge!" The team members responded enthusiastically, their morale soaring. Armed with their weapons, they charged out of the defensive perimeter and launched a counterattack against the Keloya race, forming a pincer movement with Ye Fan.

Ye Fan controlled the Red-Maned Steed Zero, charging into the chaotic horde of Shelloa like a runaway wolf. The power chain sword was instantly drawn, its high-frequency vibrating blade emitting a deep hum, easily tearing through the air.

A Keloan roared and swung its claws at the armor. The sharp claws carried a fierce gust of wind, enough to easily tear apart ordinary power armor.

Ye Fan's eyes turned cold. He maneuvered his armor to the side to dodge, while simultaneously swinging his power chain sword, precisely striking the Shellloa human. With a "swoosh," the chain sword easily severed its hard armor, and green blood gushed out. The Shellloa human didn't even have time to scream before it was cleaved in two, falling to the ground, completely lifeless.

The floating cannons on both shoulders activated simultaneously, and two energy beams were precisely fired, hitting two Shelloa races that were trying to ambush Han Mo in the distance, instantly piercing them through, and green blood splattered all over the ground.

Ye Fan maneuvered his battle armor, weaving through the horde of Keloyan people with incredible agility. He maximized the advantages of the Red Mane Steed Zero—its thick armor withstood the Keloyan attacks, while claws and energy beams could only leave shallow scratches on the armor, unable to penetrate its defenses.

With each swing of the power chain sword, several Shelloan were slain. The sword was stained with green blood and emitted a pungent stench, yet remained incredibly sharp. The missile hive on its back activated again, blasting towards the densely packed Shelloan population, further expanding its gains.

"Not good! Leader!" Several Keloa people panicked when they saw their companions falling one after another. They roared at the Keloa leader at the back of the crowd, trying to protect him and help him escape.

Ye Fan's gaze sharpened, instantly locking onto the leader, which was a size larger than the average Keloa and covered in black armor. It was hiding behind the crowd, directing the remaining Keloa to launch a counterattack, its compound eyes flashing with ferocity and fear.

"Trying to run? Not so easy!" Ye Fan sneered in a deep voice, controlling his battle armor and charging towards the leader of the Keloa race with all his might. The Keloa race members along the way tried to stop him, but he easily killed them all, and they could not stop his progress at all.

Upon seeing this, the leader of the Keloa race was terrified and turned to flee. It knew that the golden-red power armor in front of it was far beyond its ability to withstand, and that staying would only mean certain death.

"Stop right there!" Ye Fan roared, manipulating the floating cannons. Two beams of energy shot out precisely, hitting the hind leg of the leader of the Shelloa race. Green blood gushed out, and the leader staggered a few steps before falling to the ground, unable to move.

Ye Fan strode forward, manipulating the power chain sword, raising it high, and then bringing it down sharply, precisely striking the head of the Shelloa race leader. With a "crack," the leader's hard armor was completely severed, black blood and brain matter splattered everywhere, and the leader instantly lost his breath, dying instantly.

With their leader killed, the remaining Keloya people were thrown into complete panic. Gone was their previous arrogance. They scattered and fled, no longer daring to linger. Without a leader, they were no match for Ye Fan and Han Mo's team.

"Don't let them get away! Clean up the remaining enemies completely!" Han Mo ordered in a deep voice. The team members responded one after another, holding their weapons and chasing after the fleeing Keloa race. The drone swarm also launched an attack in sync, firing small energy bullets to kill the remaining enemies.

Ye Fan maneuvered his battle armor, traversing the valley and chasing down the fleeing Keloya race. He wielded his power chain sword and fired his floating cannons, each attack precisely killing his target and giving the enemy no chance to escape.

A Keloyan humanoid hid behind a rock, attempting to ambush Ye Fan, but was precisely detected by the armor's sensors. Ye Fan dodged its claws by sidestepping, and with a backhand punch, slammed it hard into its chest. The armor's power erupted, shattering its hard armor and turning it into a bloody pulp.

The other Keloa fled into the depths of the valley. Ye Fan controlled the remaining missiles on his back and fired one with precision, blasting it to pieces and completely cutting off its escape route.

The members of Hanmo's squad had by now recovered some of their combat strength. Their damaged power armor had been basically repaired, and they had plenty of weapons and ammunition in their hands. They were full of fighting spirit and continued to chase down the fleeing Keloya people. The despair on their faces was gone, replaced by the anger of revenge and the hope of victory.

The sniper, who was not wearing power armor, also changed his ammunition and, wielding a pulse sniper rifle, aimed for precise long-range shots. Every bullet hit the fleeing Keloan race, giving them no chance to catch their breath.

The fierce battle lasted for more than half an hour. The remaining forces of the Keloa race in the valley were completely wiped out. The ground was covered with the corpses of the Keloa race, and green blood soaked the entire valley. The smell of gunpowder and stench mingled together, making the scene extremely tragic.

Ye Fan slowly stopped controlling the Red-Maned Steed Zero. The armor was covered in green blood and stains, but it still exuded a powerful aura. The light of the energy core had dimmed slightly, but it was still operating stably. After a fierce battle, the armor's energy had been consumed by nearly 30%, but it was still in good fighting condition.

Han Mo led his team members quickly to Ye Fan, who saluted him with gratitude and admiration, his voice trembling with emotion: "Ye Fan! Thank you so much! If it weren't for you, we would all be dead!"

The sniper stepped forward, his eyes filled with gratitude: "Thank you for the supplies and the armor repairs. Otherwise, we wouldn't have made it this far."

Ye Fan, controlling his battle armor, nodded slowly and replied through the communicator, "You're welcome. Supporting you is my mission. How are you all? Is anyone seriously injured?"

Han Mo's expression turned slightly grave, and he shook his head: "Several team members were seriously injured, and their power armor was severely damaged. Fortunately, we have the repair materials you brought, which can temporarily stabilize their injuries and repair their armor."

Ye Fan nodded, his gaze sweeping over the exhausted appearance of everyone, and said in a deep voice, "Let's go back to the vicinity of the Star Gate first, treat the wounds, thoroughly repair the power armor, and replenish our energy."
