League: Educating LPL is my duty.

Chapter 50: I wonder who's in C?

Li Chen's timing in gaining experience was absolutely perfect. Because their bottom lane was being crushed, the opposing team couldn't predict when he would reach level six.

When a level 5 Golem goes home, nobody cares whether it will wander off or not.

Li Chen signaled in advance that he was on his way, then tapped Poppy and Renekton, as well as his own experience bar. Poppy instantly understood and immediately started farming.

It's like when a man and a woman play a game for the first time, the man pats her butt and the woman knows it's time to change positions; it's obvious that someone has trained her before.

Li Chen controlled the Stone Golem to the top lane. Both minion waves had been reset, so Li Chen took advantage of the enemy's lack of vision and had the Golem sneak into a bush.

After the minion wave arrived, Poppy proactively approached Renekton to trade blows, while simultaneously using her abilities to kill two melee minions.

After gaining experience from the melee unit, Li Chen leveled up to level six. However, he didn't rush to attack. Instead, he hid in the grass and waited for Poppy and Crocodile to exchange blows.

After a quick melee, both of them were down to almost half health. Li Chen seized the opportunity when the crocodile and the red team's ranged minion were standing together, and immediately used his ultimate to knock the crocodile into the air. Then he used QE combo plus Thunderlord's Decree to reduce the crocodile's health.

Poppy didn't hold back either, following up with RQ, giving Renekton no chance to use his ultimate. Li Chen seized the opportunity to finish off the enemy with a WA combo, successfully securing the kill and returning to base on the spot.

Back home, Li Chen bought a small spellbook and was about to leave when a battle suddenly broke out in the bottom lane.

The reason was that the support was not there. Kha'Zix wanted to come down to protect her, so he asked Ashe to retreat and wait for him to arrive. However, Ashe insisted on farming the lane alone and was eventually tower-dived and killed by the enemy duo. Fortunately, Kha'Zix arrived just in time and took down Alistar's low-health kill.

This exchange resulted in a one-for-two trade, rendering the crocodile essentially useless, clearly a huge win for both sides.

But Uzi couldn't take it anymore: "Damn, how am I supposed to play this game? This Malphite went to gank top lane at level six, he's deliberately trying to annoy me. How can someone like this be playing professionally?"

Xiao Ming watched the enraged Uzi from the side, wanting to say something but unable to utter a word.

Logically speaking, he didn't think there was anything wrong with the wave of Stone Golems.

The bot lane Ashe got killed twice because her item level was too low. She couldn't get any kills without the jungler coming. Going to the top lane to gank Renekton and feed the meta's top-tier champion wouldn't be a bad thing. It would make it easier to win the game that way.

But Uzi doesn't understand this principle. He always likes his teammates to play around him, as if if he's not having fun, there's no point in winning the game.

After this fight, Uzi completely gave up, going straight to the mid lane to farm minions after respawning.

The enemy has vanished?

The enemy has vanished?

The enemy has vanished?

After typing out several question marks, Syndra simply stood still under the tower.

The enemy jungler targeted the bot lane, so the mid and top laners played very comfortably. In the early game, the enemy Zed was under a lot of pressure, but Uzi's actions revitalized Zed.

Having no other choice, Li Chen made several requests for backup, and then clicked on Syndra's icon.

Perhaps unwilling to lose points and feeling there was still a chance to salvage the game, Syndra turned around and went to the bottom lane.

With the mid and support players focusing on the mid and bot lanes, the situation in the bot lane reversed, and the pilot and Faker started to play more conservatively.

Li Chen knew that the pilot had Flash, and if he used his ultimate directly, the pilot would likely dodge it with Flash. So he swayed left and right and slowly moved forward, looking for an opportunity for the pilot to last-hit minions. He then decisively Flashed and used Q to get right in front of the pilot.

The pilot was startled and used a preemptive Flash. Only then did Li Chen activate his ultimate, dodging Alistar's combo while knocking the pilot into the air. Syndra seized the opportunity to Flash and use QE combo to stun the pilot, followed by W to unleash Thunderlord's Decree. Li Chen had already killed Jhin without even using his ultimate.

Faker's Alistar tapped his head on the empty ground, saw that Jhin had already been ulted, scratched his head, and decisively activated his ultimate to save his health and run back to the tower.

At the same time, the mid-lane Ashe also received a notification that she had been killed.

No matter what, even a Zed with poor development is still Zed. Facing Uzi's Ashe's pull, he directly W'd into the face, unleashed a combo, and then used his ultimate to instantly kill.

"Play, play, play my ass! What a bunch of idiots! Don't they know who's carrying the game?" Uzi went into full red-hot mode and started AFK mode.

Li Chen went home to replenish his magic power items, only to find that Ashe was already AFK in the fountain. He tapped twice and said, "Brothers, did you see that? In the eyes of the gods, Malphite can't be a support, but Lucian can jungle. Teammates have to surround him and fight him, otherwise there's no point in winning."

"C has a knack for manipulating people's mentality."

"To be fair, aside from his poor hero pick, C played perfectly fine in this game; all his plays were optimal."

"A perfectly good game, gone!"

"You're such a jerk, you're the one who's disgusting our dog."

"Exactly, are you trying to ruin Chinese esports?"

"This is State Grid?"

In a 4v5 situation, and with himself being a Malphite, there was no way to win. Li Chen could only protect his KDA like his teammates.

With nothing else to do, Li Chen started to educate the audience: "Everyone should remember one thing: in the game League of Legends, the most important thing in ranked matches is to win, while casual matches and brawls are for fun. Malphite support may be unconventional, but it is still a viable strategy."

Furthermore, this game doesn't mean that if you play well, your teammates will necessarily revolve around you. A truly excellent player, besides having the ability to carry the game, also needs the ability to withstand pressure. Sometimes, what you contribute to the team in a game isn't important, but not contributing to the opposing team is very important.

"This Z-King has the right to speak; if he says he won't take the minion wave, he really won't."

"It feels like C is implying that Z is greater than Uzi."

"Actually, they're different. EDG has a carry player, but RNG only has a younger one."

"RNG's chances of winning still depend on my Tiger General."

After observing the rhythm of the comments, Li Chen began to act as a rational observer: "To be fair, although Z-King is my teammate, I have to admit that Uzi's individual ability is indeed stronger than Z-King's. But if you let me choose someone as my teammate, I would still choose Z-King."

Like in this game, with Uzi's skill, if he had just played a little more passively, we could have easily won thanks to our advantage in the top and mid lanes. But he wasn't willing; he wasn't happy and didn't want to win. That's a matter of mindset.

"What? You're saying streamers also push the lane like crazy when they play in matches? You're only seeing the surface. Unless a streamer is confident of diving the tower, they always control the lane when they have an advantage. If the opponent wants to farm the lane, they can only hold the jungler or even the mid laner hostage. After a while, if they get an opportunity, all three of them will collapse."

With Li Chen's explanation, which was seven parts true and three parts false, the game smoothly came to an end.

He definitely couldn't get ten kills. He had done his best, but the targeting from the Void God forced some of his fans to lose everything, and there was nothing he could do about it.
