With points in hand, Li Chen wasn't worried at all and directly intervened in the draft phase. Nofe didn't object at all because past scrims had already proven Li Chen's understanding of the lineup.

Both sides quickly completed their first three picks. EDG chose AD Ashe, jungle Elise, and support Alistar, while VG picked mid-lane Ryze, AD Kog'Maw, and support Nami.

A new round of player bans began. VG first banned Taliyah, then Maokai, while EDG targeted junglers, banning Gragas and Lee Sin, both of whom have forced displacement abilities.

VG got to pick first, and the coach chose to pick Kha'Zix as the jungler, giving the counter pick to the top laner to continue targeting them.

Nofe checked the lineup and first picked Orianna for his junior to supplement the team's area control and damage in team fights later on, since Li Chen couldn't play a tank.

"C, what do you want?"

Li Chen glanced at the opposing team's lineup, a bunch of squishy heroes, and a cruel smile appeared on his lips: "I'll use Lucian."

As soon as he finished speaking, the junior student suddenly trembled.

He recalled the time a while ago when Li Chen challenged him to a solo match and used his Lucian to completely dominate all of his favorite champions.

At the time, he thought Lucian was too strong, but Li Chen countered by using LeBlanc to completely destroy his Lucian.

In just one afternoon, he was completely defeated by Li Chen.

Nofe, having unconditionally trusted Li Chen's individual abilities, nodded and said, "It's a bit of a pity to use this tactic like this, but use it if you want. After the two sides exchanged players, the lineups were finalized.

In terms of fan base, EDG clearly has more.

Seeing that Lucian didn't even contest the bushes, Loong sneered, "This god_C is all talk and no action; he doesn't even know how to contest the bushes."

As soon as he finished speaking, Li Chen landed a basic attack on Shen. Loong used his Q skill to give himself a shield, then stepped into a bush to try and avoid the damage.

Li Chen identified Shen's abilities, activated his Q ability, and unleashed an AQAA combo on Shen.

Loong frowned after being hit, thinking that Li Chen had planted his eyes beforehand, so he turned and walked towards Ercao.

This scene, witnessed by Guan Zeyuan, left him both amused and exasperated: "No, Loong has no idea that there are wards in both bushes. He's going to get chased down if he plays like this."

Li Chen then auto-attacked twice more. After Shen entered the mid-bush, he first distanced himself from the minions' aggro, then turned around and started last-hitting minions.

Shen thought his plan had worked, so he went out and killed a low-health minion. Just then, Li Chen attacked again, auto-attacking Shen and sending him back into the bush. Then he stopped attacking again, as if he really had no vision of Shen.

When VG's coach saw this, his forehead immediately darkened.

There's always something fishy going on when things seem unusual. If Lucian had just taken action to drive them away, that would have been one thing, but the fact that he hasn't made a move means he's definitely plotting to kill them.

"Wow, God_C is so cunning, he's putting on an act."

"Shen still thinks there are no eyes here, oh no!"

"No wonder he's C-level; this is the kind of thing he'd do."

Li Chen watched as Shen leaned against the bushes, emerging to attack a minion. Although he wanted to laugh, he held it in.

Loong's thinking was simple: since Lucian had no wards, if Lucian controlled the lane, he could use the mid-bush to farm minions while maintaining vision.

If Lucian pushes the lane, he can run back to the tower and wait to farm under the tower, a win-win situation, a huge win.

Li Chen looked at Shen standing in the grass, found an angle to Q the low-health minion, and then Q'd Shen as well.

Having taken a sudden hit, Shen moved around a few times and changed his position.

The two lingered there for a while. As the second wave of minions arrived, Li Chen's Q skill was off cooldown. He then found an angle to use Q again, which brought Shen back to half health, forcing Shen to drink his last remaining health potion.

After taking another hit from the skill, Loong frowned and moved to a different spot: "This guy's luck is pretty good; he managed to get lucky with this."

However, this scene was incredibly funny to the audience.

"Oh my god, Shen's going to be completely ruined!"
