Gan San Niang turned on the TV, sat down on the bed, and started changing channels with the remote control.

Although she and Hua Hengyue only watched "The Smiling, Proud Wanderer" that afternoon, they still tried to change the channel with the remote control when the TV was showing "GG". Therefore, Gan San Niang naturally knew how to operate the TV now.

She tried changing the channel several times, but still felt unsatisfied.

Some of those TV programs featured a group of people dressed in strange costumes, looking almost like immortals, laughing and joking around for no apparent reason. Others were ancient-style shadow puppet shows, but I never saw any kung fu like the Nine Swords of Dugu. It was really boring.

However, in some movies, those strange four-wheeled metal vehicles looked quite impressive and made her envious.

She could understand those things, but she wasn't sure how to drive them. Moreover, if the road was uneven, the car would be even more difficult to drive. Even if she drove back, she wouldn't be able to reach Songgou Mountain.

Not as good as the drone baby.

So she continued to change the channel.

As she was switching between the two, she suddenly heard the sound of bugles, and the television screen was filled with gray smoke, showing a scene of desolation where the people were dressed in filthy clothes, not much better off than her.

Someone shouted, "Second Battalion Commander, where the hell is your Italian cannon?"

A short while later, a loud "boom" was heard, and a city wall was blown to smithereens.

Gan San Niang's eyes widened in surprise: "Good heavens, this thing called 'Yi Yao Pao' is really something else! If we didn't have that drone, this would be just as good!"

She was amazed by the power of the Italian cannons and attracted by the characters in the play. She found the characters to be very much to her liking, much more refreshing than her mother's Linghu Chong, so she watched it seriously until late at night.

So the next day, when Gan San Niang went downstairs, she said to Luo Zhuang, "Immortal Master, I watched that TV last night, and there was this thing called Yi Yao Pao, which is really amazing."

If we don't have drones, how about some kind of cannon? Or those things inside that are of varying lengths and make crackling sounds, that would also work.

Luo Zhuang was both amused and exasperated. Good heavens, this woman really knows how to watch TV series; she actually found "Bright Sword" to watch.

"It's all the same, let's wait for people from other worlds to come."

Luo Zhuang said.

Gan San Niang nodded repeatedly and said, "I will do as you say, Immortal Master."

She paused for a moment, then said somewhat shyly, "Immortal Master, I fought my way down from Songgou Mountain, and my clothes are a bit dirty."

I originally wanted to borrow a set of clothes from Hengyue as a temporary solution, but she was too thin and small for me to fit into.

"Does the immortal have any spare clothes that I could borrow? I'll return my own after I've washed them clean."

Luo Zhuang said, "I'll get you a set of clothes. You should be able to wear my clothes, but I don't know if they'll fit."

"You can wear this for now, you don't need to return it. But your clothes are already so torn, you shouldn't wear them."

Gan San Niang said, "Thank you, Immortal Master. My clothes can be washed and fixed. If you have a needle and thread, I will mend them myself."

She paused, smiled slightly, and continued, "To be honest, we martial artists inevitably get our clothes torn in battle. Otherwise, we wouldn't need to take off our clothes before the fight and go into battle shirtless..."

As she said this, Luo Zhuang's eyes suddenly turned strange.

Seeing this, Gan San Niang quickly explained, "Immortal Master, please don't misunderstand. I was talking about someone else, not myself."

That's how I developed my sewing skills; whenever I was damaged in battle, I would mend it myself.

Luo Zhuang inwardly regretted it and said, "You can decide for yourself. I don't have any needles and thread here, but Aunt Wang has some. If you need them, I'll go and borrow some for you."

Gan San Niang said, "Thank you, Immortal Master."

So Luo Zhuang went to his room and got some clothes for Gan San Niang.

He had only been home for a few days after resigning, and he hadn't changed his clothes yet, so all his other clothes were in his suitcase, which was quite full.

I took a T-shirt and a pair of summer pants, and it seemed like nothing had been reduced in the suitcase.

He went out and handed the clothes to Gan San Niang, who then said, "Thank you, Immortal Master."

Luo Zhuang waved his hand and said, "Go change your clothes, I'll go get breakfast."

Breakfast was made by Wang Erniang, who lived not far from Luo Zhuang's house. When Luo Zhuang arrived, Wang Erniang had just finished making breakfast and said to him, "Oh dear, Zhuang boy, why did you come all by yourself? I was going to bring it over to you and wait for the others to come over."

Luo Zhuang laughed and said, "I already feel bad for asking you to cook for me, Second Aunt. How can I ask you to bring me food? I can just get it myself."

Aunt Wang laughed and said, "What's there to feel bad about? We even use your mahjong table. You might as well not come over anymore. I can cook at your place and have a bite to eat while I'm cooking. It'll save us the trouble of running back and forth when they come over."

Luo Zhuang had no objections and agreed.

When Luo Zhuang returned, Gan San Niang had already changed her clothes and come downstairs.

Luo Zhuang was a head taller and slightly stronger than Gan San Niang, and his clothes looked a bit too big on her.

However, Gan San Niang's curves were still visible through her T-shirt and summer pants. Luo Zhuang glanced at her and quickly looked away to avoid being mistaken for a pervert by Gan San Niang.

Gan San Niang laughed and said, "Why be so coy, Immortal Master? Weren't those ladies the same yesterday?"

Luo Zhuang felt relieved after hearing Gan San Niang's words. He glanced at Gan San Niang openly and said, "I was worried you would mind, but if you don't mind, then what do I have to worry about? Let's eat."

He thought to himself that Gan San Niang must be wearing a bellyband or something underneath, otherwise she wouldn't be wearing his short-sleeved shirt and pants like this.

"I'll go and call Hengyue right now."

Gan San Niang nodded repeatedly and said.

She quickly called Hua Hengyue down, and after having dinner with Luo Zhuang in the restaurant, she cleaned up the dishes and was about to take her clothes back to her room to wash when Luo Zhuang stopped her.

"There are washing machines in the laundry room here, so you don't have to wash by hand."

Luo Zhuang told Gan San Niang about it.

But Gan San Niang was completely confused and didn't understand at all.

It wasn't until Luo Zhuang took Gan San Niang to the laundry room, opened the washing machine, and had Gan San Niang throw all the clothes in, poured in laundry detergent, closed the door, and turned on the machine that Gan San Niang watched the clothes spin and tumble inside, marveling at the sight.

"This...is a washing machine?!"

Hua Hengyue stared wide-eyed at the washing machine, then at her own clothes. Luo Zhuang thought the girl seemed eager to try it out, as if she wanted to take off her clothes and throw them in to wash as well.

In just a few days, the girl's mindset had indeed changed a lot.

Luo Zhuang said, "Yes, the washing machine can wash clothes by itself now. It will beep when it's done. You can come over, turn it on, take the clothes out, and hang them up to dry. You don't need to wait here."

Gan San Niang exclaimed, "Truly impressive!"

Hua Hengyue nodded repeatedly.

Luo Zhuang said, "Alright, just wash the clothes here. I'm going to practice my martial arts. Do you want to come with me?"
