HP: The Moon Over the Magic Academy
Chapter 61 Flourish and Blotts Diary [I've forgotten some of the plot, so I'll have to wat
Landric was being pulled along by Draco, and after trying to pull his hand away but failing, he gave up.
"Brother, this shabby bookstore is too crowded. I'll hold your hand; it'll be safer that way."
His words were so grand and eloquent that Landric wanted nothing more than to punch him.
But Landric didn't make a move in front of the elders and his godfather.
I don't know what's wrong with this person, but ever since he bluntly refused during the holiday, he's been making physical contact from time to time.
Sometimes Landric felt it was harmless and let it be.
Sometimes when Draco is in a bad mood, his actions happen to be right in Rand's eyes, and Rand can't help but provoke him.
For example, right now, I'm in a bad mood and don't want to hold hands, but I can't punch him, so I just kick Draco's butt when Lucius isn't looking.
Draco turned around and grinned at Landric.
They know they're wrong, but they don't correct it.
"Ha," he thought, "He's too sticky. It's time to let Draco know what withdrawal is."
Landric didn't make any other moves, seemingly acquiescing to Draco's closeness at this moment.
The two followed Lucius into the bookstore.
The bustling atmosphere inside the store caused Lucius to frown.
Looking towards the loudest part of the crowd, there was none other than Lockhart, that awful guy.
Landric pulled Draco back a step, "Don't go, it'll be trouble."
Draco stopped and took the list out of his pocket.
Lucius said in a flamboyant tone, "Children, you're not children anymore. You should learn to handle your own affairs."
Draco's eyes lit up. Was he going to let him and his brother go buy it themselves?
Alone?
Draco's face now only showed those two words.
Lucius was speechless and heartbroken.
Narcissa is right, her son is indeed becoming somewhat worthless.
Seeing Landric's calm and refined appearance, I couldn't help but feel even more heartbroken.
He genuinely disagreed with Draco's current feelings, but Draco's possessiveness towards Landric was growing stronger.
The two had once tried to separate themselves to stop this feeling from growing.
But Draco even resorted to a hunger strike to coerce him.
You can't just watch your child not eat.
Lucius let Draco take Rand away and stopped paying attention to them.
As the two weaved through the crowd, they suddenly heard a familiar voice, "Guess who I ran into at Borgin Burke's shop? Malfoy and his father!"
The person next to them stopped and pulled Landric behind a bookshelf.
"Did Lucius Malfoy buy anything?"
Draco leaned over, and the person speaking was a red-haired man.
"No, he went to sell things."
"Oh no, if only I were here, I could have caught Lucius Malfoy red-handed."
Draco was furious.
Landric looked at Draco with suspicion. Was there really this? He probably forgot about this part of the plot.
Draco's voice was clearly laced with gritted teeth, "Before we rendezvous..."
The voices of the crowd grew increasingly faint; it seemed they had gone far away.
Draco pulled Landric along and followed, saying, "I want to see what kind of teeth they can spit out of their dog mouths!"
The two, who had initially kept their distance from Lockhart, now moved closer to his podium.
"Ladies and gentlemen," Lockhart waved to the crowd.
"Today is a great day. Our young savior has come to Flourish and Blotts to buy my autobiography..."
Draco looked disdainfully at the two people in the center of the stage. Harry's smile was a little stiff. "Brother, did you see that? Cows are flying in the sky!"
Landric slapped Draco's hand away. "This kid's had a screw loose today."
Harry finally managed to get out of the center of attention and stuffed the entire set of books he had obtained from Lockhart into Ginny's cauldron.
"Here, take these. I can buy more..."
Before he could finish speaking, Draco arrogantly interrupted, "You actually like this, don't you, Harry? And is this your little girlfriend?"
Draco spared no effort in putting a hat on Harry's head, attempting to put him down in front of Rand.
Ginny's face flushed instantly, and Harry, furious and incoherent, looked at Rand, "No!...I didn't!"
Landric smiled, unconcerned about any of this.
A second-grade little savior is still unable to escape his grasp.
Moreover, in the eyes of this appearance-obsessed person, as long as the face is there, the country is there.
At the same time, Ron and Hermione squeezed in.
"Hey, Malfoy?" Ron's voice was dismissive.
"What? You Weasleys are only allowed to buy secondhand goods? We're not allowed to buy new things?"
Ron blushed, threw the book into the cauldron, rolled up his sleeves, and charged at Draco.
Hermione grabbed him by the back of his collar.
go away.
"Rand! I didn't expect to meet you here," Hermione's surprised voice made Ron's lips twitch.
The raging anger was extinguished by this interruption, with half of it gone.
"Ron," Mr. Weasley squeezed through with Fred and George, "what are you doing?"
"Oh my, who's this? Weasley?"
That fancy tone could only come from Lucius.
"I heard Mr. Weasley's been very busy lately, running around doing raids... Oh, are they going to pay you extra for working overtime?"
Just like in the original story, Lucius reached into Ginny's cauldron and pulled out a tattered, secondhand book.
"Hey, look, this little girl is using a second-hand book!"
Mr. Weasley's face was even redder than Ron's had been.
Nothing is more humiliating to a father than hearing in front of him that his only daughter uses rags.
With a crash, Ginny's cauldron tipped over.
Mr. Weasley could no longer contain his anger and turned on Lucius.
Fred and George somehow found their way to Landric's side, each putting one hand on Landric's shoulder.
"That's it, Dad, hit him!"
This startled Rand.
Draco noticed this and quickly pulled Rand back.
Fighting is fine, but don't hurt anyone.
Amid the store clerk's gasps, Hagrid came over, grabbed one person with each hand, and separated the two.
Both of them were injured. Lucius Malfoy picked up the tattered textbooks from the gold dust and stuffed them into her cauldron.
"Take it, little girl, this is the best thing your father can give you."
He broke free from Hagrid's arm, walked over to Landric and Draco, and took the two children in his arms as they left.
"You shouldn't pay attention to them, Arthur. The Malfoy family are all bad people."
The Grangers were trembling with fear.
"Mr. Hagrid, I don't know if it's true or not that you're right to say the Malfoys are bad people, but Landric is definitely a good person!"
Hermione had barely finished speaking when Harry immediately chimed in.
"Yes, Hagrid, Landric is very good. He's the particularly handsome boy who was standing next to Draco just now."
Ron was speechless, muttering under his breath, "Here we go again, here we go again."
Hermione didn't want to hear them argue any further.
He turned to look for his parents. "Mom and Dad, Rand probably didn't have time to buy the book. I want to buy him a copy."
The Grangers exchanged a glance and agreed to their daughter's request.
