Dragon Raja: The Divine Man Lu Mingfei

Chapter 76 Who's being insulted?!

Train CC1000 came to a stop at the platform, the doors opened, and a person wearing a dark green train attendant uniform appeared, shaking a small golden bell in his hand, with a golden train attendant badge pinned to his hat, and holding a card reader. He stood steadily at the train door.

Fingel handed over his ticket and swiped his card. The train conductor glanced at his face and his first words were, "Finger, aren't you going to drop out of school yet? I thought I wouldn't see you this year."

"I'm a person who sees things through to the end. Speaking of which, my class this year should still be 'E,' since I'm already at a low point and there's not much room for me to drop any further," Fingel asked.

"I'm sorry, you've been downgraded to 'F'. You were downgraded from 'A' level, you've gone from heaven to hell," the train conductor said.

"They even lowered it...?" Fingel muttered under his breath. "I've been lying low for so many years, why is the school still targeting me...?"

Seeing Fingel's drooping face, Lu Mingfei stepped forward, patted him on the shoulder, and comforted him, "Brother, don't worry. If you exclude S after F, there are still 19 letters left. This means you still have a lot of room to fall. There will be plenty of opportunities for you to worry later. There's no need to rush now." As he spoke, he handed the ticket to the train conductor.

"Hey junior brother, is that how you comfort people? After listening to you, I feel like my life is completely hopeless..." Fingel complained unhappily.

"If you feel hopeless about life, I suggest you open the window and jump out when the car is halfway there. Oh, and remember to jump from a compartment I can't see, so your blood won't splatter on me," Lu Mingfei offered effective advice.

"Junior brother, you clearly want me dead..." Fingel said through gritted teeth.

Lu Mingfei's ticket swiped through the ticket machine, the green light lit up, and cheerful music played.

"Lu Mingfei?" The train conductor's eyes lit up. "He's actually an 'S' level! That's incredibly rare!"

"Huh?" Lu Mingfei caught the key phrase: "Who are you calling rare?! You're the rare one, your whole family is rare!"

The train conductor was a bit confused, completely unaware of what he had said wrong. It was Fingel, who was standing next to him, who couldn't stand it anymore and quickly stepped in to smooth things over, nudging the conductor's arm: "What are you daydreaming about? Get back to work, there are two female students waiting to have their tickets checked."

The train conductor, finally snapping out of his daze, hurriedly took the tickets from Xia Mi and Su Xiaoqiang. After swiping the cards and glancing down, he couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, "Wow, two more A grades! This year's freshmen are just too outstanding!"

Su Xiaoqiang tilted her head, swept her chestnut curly hair behind her shoulder, and leaned closer to Lu Mingfei, who was still indignant. She gently tugged at his sleeve and asked curiously, "Mingfei, what exactly do A-level and S-level mean? Are they good or bad?"

Before Lu Mingfei could answer, Xia Mi, standing on his other side, interrupted, "This is just the bloodline purity classification set by Kassel College for its students. The higher the classification, the better the talent."

"Then why did the train conductor just say that Senior Finger's rating dropped from 'A' to 'F'? Can bloodlines degenerate on their own?" Su Xiaoqiang was still puzzled.

"Well, his rating isn't just based on bloodline purity; it's a comprehensive rating calculated by the academy, taking into account things like class performance and task completion. In my opinion, that senior Fingel must have done something heinous to be demoted from 'A' to 'F'. But we're different from him. We have a senior brother as our backer. Just relax and have fun at the academy, treat it like a vacation, right, senior brother?" Xia Mi tugged at Lu Mingfei's clothes and looked up to ask.

"Yes, that's right. You can study if you want, or it's fine if you don't. Anyway, I'll be in charge of this school from now on." Lu Mingfei calmed down a bit and nodded in agreement with Xia Mi's words.

When Fingel and the train conductor overheard this conversation, they felt a line from a song echoing in their ears: "I mistakenly entered the heavenly realm, and I urge you to lay down the sand in my hand..."

Just then, a figure that Lu Mingfei somewhat recognized emerged from the carriage. Upon seeing Lu Mingfei, the figure warmly greeted him, "Oh, Mingfei, you've finally arrived! I've been waiting for you for ages!"

Lu Mingfei and Su Xiaoqiang recognized each other immediately—it was Professor Guderian. Lu Mingfei still vividly remembered the incident where this enthusiastic professor tried to flatter him at the Regent Hotel but ended up making a fool of himself. Su Xiaoqiang happened to be with Lu Mingfei that time and was also particularly impressed by this unkempt professor with hair as messy as a bird's nest.

Xia Mi was the only one who had never met him, so Lu Mingfei simply introduced them. Upon hearing that Xia Mi was also an A-level student, Professor Guderian was initially taken aback, marveling at the talent of this year's freshmen. However, upon reflection, he realized that Lu Mingfei, standing before him, was a genuine S-level student. Even the most formidable A-level student wouldn't be surprising in the face of an S-level student. He immediately calmed down, smiling and waving, urging the three of them to get into the car quickly.

Just as they were starting to walk forward, Professor Guderian suddenly caught a glimpse of the inconspicuous husky following behind the three of them out of the corner of his eye. Pointing at it, he asked Lu Mingfei curiously, "Mingfei, is this dog your pet? Pets are allowed on the train, but I wonder if it will be too noisy."

"Oh, you mean it?" Lu Mingfei glanced at the husky casually, waved his hand, and said, "Professor, you don't need to worry about it. Just treat it like it's not there. It won't cause any trouble. It's no problem."

"Hmm... alright then." Although Professor Guderian was full of questions, since Lu Mingfei had already said so, he couldn't ask any more questions. He could only smile and nod, leading the four people into the carriage.

The train sped along the tracks under the North American sun. Inside the carriage, separated by an oak table, Lu Mingfei and his two companions sat facing Professor Guderian and Fingel.

The carriage was in an elegant European style, with Victorian-style patterned wallpaper on all four walls, solid wood-wrapped portholes, and dark green leather sofas for several people with gold thread embroidered on the backrests. Sunlight streamed in through the portholes, making the gold thread glow with a warm light.

Finger has already changed into Kassel's dark green school uniform. Professor Guderian had originally prepared school uniforms for Lu Mingfei and the other two, but Lu Mingfei refused, saying that as the principal, wearing a student uniform would be beneath his dignity.

Since Lu Mingfei isn't wearing it, Su Xiaoqiang and Xia Mi next to him are even less likely to wear it. They've dressed up carefully today, so if they were to change into school uniforms, all their efforts would be wasted.
