"10% off?"

After Lu Mingfei jumped off the old train, all he could see was the dilapidated platform beneath his feet, which was about to collapse, and an endless, dark wilderness. The wind blowing through the weeds only brought a pungent smell of mud and rust, devoid of any vitality. After looking around, he couldn't help but ask Xia Mi a soul-searching question.

"I thought that with your level of sophistication, it would at least be a secluded paradise, if not a heavenly realm. But it turns out there's nothing here at all! And you have the nerve to call this Nibelungen?"

Xia Mi was a little embarrassed by this evaluation: "Oh dear, senior brother, I've only been awakened for a few years, and I don't have time to do any infrastructure work. Besides, most of the power of the Earth and Mountain King is with Fenrir, and I only have that pitiful amount of authority left. "Alright, alright, you win. I won't stoop to your level!" Xia Mi said with a smile, bent down and gestured for them to proceed, deliberately speaking in a high-pitched voice, "This way, sir!" Then she took the initiative to lead the way.

Lu Mingfei didn't respond to her teasing and followed her. The two hadn't walked far when a black, undulating mountain range stretched across the middle of the wilderness and came into view. The mountain was barren and lay quietly in the darkness.

As the two drew closer, and were about to reach the foot of the mountain, the ground beneath their feet suddenly began to tremble slightly. At first, it was just a slight shaking, but later the tremors caused gravel to roll down the slope. Upon closer inspection, they realized that this was not a small mountain at all, but a colossal creature, a giant dragon with half of its body fused to the rock.

The dragon sensed someone approaching, and its previously closed eyes slowly opened, revealing a pair of torch-like golden pupils. Its gaze fell on Xia Mi, who was walking ahead, and a deep, rumbling voice came from its throat: "Sister, you've come?"

Before Xia Mi could answer, Lu Mingfei spoke up first:

"Sister? You want Fenrir to call you sister? Lao Mi, it seems you've been plotting to seize power for quite some time now, and this time you've even set your sights on your own brother."

"No, senior brother! Can't you be reasonable?" Xia Mi helplessly spread her hands. "This guy's IQ isn't even as high as a five-year-old's now. No matter how I correct him, he just won't change his way of talking. What can I do? I can't exactly sew his mouth shut, can I?"

"What?! It's not even as good as an adult Border Collie?!" Lu Mingfei was shocked, and then his gaze towards Fenrir changed instantly—it was a mixture of sympathy, helplessness, and the special care that comes with intellectual disabilities.

"Alas, one of the twin kings of the earth and mountains has fallen to this state. What happened to you? Did you bring me here to help him find release?"

"I don't know exactly what happened. My brother woke up earlier than me, and he was like this as soon as he woke up. I suspect that he was ambushed by a villain. He is in so much pain. If possible, I would like to ask you to help him." Xia Mi stepped forward and placed her hand on Fenrir's huge dragon face, stroking it gently like a kitten, and said to Lu Mingfei.

"Sister, who is this brother? What are you talking about?" Fenrir shook his huge head and asked in a muffled voice. He felt a familiar sense of closeness about Lu Mingfei, which made him unable to feel any hostility. He just thought this human was quite pleasing to the eye.

"Don't worry, Fenrir, he's here to help you. You'll be free soon. From now on, no matter what happens, don't be afraid, okay?" Xia Mi's voice was gentle as water, her fingertips stroking his head again and again, just like a gentle and patient older sister comforting her anxious younger brother.

Seeing the atmosphere, Lu Mingfei's face showed a strange expression, and he asked Xia Mi again to confirm, "Are you sure you want to do this?"

"I'm sure, Senior Brother." Xia Mi turned around, her expression more serious than ever before. "I hope you can help him break free from this cage built of rock."

"I understand, as you wish." Lu Mingfei seemed to be affected by the serious atmosphere and nodded solemnly in agreement.

Having said that, he stepped forward, walking up to Fenrir's massive head. Xia Mi, understanding the situation, took a step back and stood behind him, waiting for him to make his move. Lu Mingfei followed Xia Mi's example, reaching out to gently place his hand on Fenrir's cold dragon face, slowly stroking it while speaking in a compassionate and holy tone:

"My child, you've endured so much; you've already done a remarkable thing by persevering until now! Now, I'm here to help you find liberation! My child, don't be afraid; you are about to go to a blissful paradise, a world that is gentle to all, a place people call heaven. There, you will no longer feel any sadness or pain, only joy and laughter. Rest in peace..."

As he spoke, he slowly raised his other hand. There was nothing on that hand, yet the surrounding air seemed to freeze instantly. A heavy aura of death emanated from his fingertips, as if the slightest touch would reduce the colossal dragon king before him to ashes. Just as his hand was about to touch Fenrir's forehead, a loud, bristling shout suddenly came from behind him:

"What the hell are you doing, senior brother?! Stop! Stop right now!"

Xia Mi rushed up like a madwoman, grabbed Lu Mingfei by the waist and pulled him backward, wishing he could be as far away from Fenrir as possible.

"What? Didn't you ask me to help him get out of this mess?" Lu Mingfei was very dissatisfied with Xia Mi's behavior of ruining the atmosphere.

"So your understanding of 'liberation' is sending him to his death? Have you been watching too many melodramatic TV dramas and gotten so confused that you can't distinguish between fiction and reality anymore?" Xia Mi was so angry that she gritted her teeth. The more she listened to Lu Mingfei's words, the more she felt something was wrong. It wasn't until she saw Lu Mingfei raise his hand and felt the power of death in his hand that she realized Lu Mingfei seemed to have misunderstood something, and she quickly stepped forward to stop him.

"Bullshit! The only thing that can make me unable to distinguish between fiction and reality is Genshin Impact!" Lu Mingfei retorted to Xia Mi with dissatisfaction, while dispersing the death power he had gathered in his hands to avoid accidentally injuring Xia Mi.

"I'm asking you to help me figure out a way to get him out of the rocks so he can move around freely, not to kill him!" Xia Mi ignored Lu Mingfei's nonsense and directly stated her true request to avoid Lu Mingfei misunderstanding again.

"Tsk, you should have said so earlier. Why did you have to use riddles like 'liberation'? It made me think you had finally hardened your heart and decided to devour Fenrir and take his place."

"No, senior brother, didn't you come up with the word 'liberation' first? How come you're blaming me?"

"Hmm? Are you trying to say I'm labeling you? Looks like I've not only fattened you up these past few days, but I've also made you bolder!"

"Nonsense! I haven't gained weight! I digest the tiny amount I eat every day within the same day. Who are you trying to fool with that? You think you can make me gain weight? You must be dreaming!"

"Ha, still being stubborn. Who was it that kept begging to stop while being turned into a cream puff?"

Their conversation gradually veered off course, leaving Fenrir standing there, bewildered, tilting his enormous head and struggling to understand what they were talking about. Even though it was a language he recognized, he couldn't understand a single word.
