Dragon Raja: The Divine Man Lu Mingfei

Chapter 60 Torturing the Dragon King

Su Enxi and Jiu Demai were making a ruckus on the sofa. The two beauties, each with their own unique charm, no longer cared about their elegant image. One pulled at the neckline of the other's off-shoulder nightgown, and the other tugged at the loose hair ribbon. As they rolled around, their clothes came undone and their hair became messy. The sweet fragrance mixed with their laughter and playfulness wafted around, creating a vivid and alluring scene.

Any normal man who saw this scene would probably feel his blood boil. Unfortunately, the entire living room was empty, not a soul in sight, so naturally no one could feast their eyes on it. As for Lu Mingfei, he hadn't come out yet when he went back to his bedroom to wake Xia Mi.

After a while of commotion, the doorbell rang sharply, and the two stopped. Su Enxi quickly seized the opportunity to break free from Jiu De Mai's clutches. Smoothing her messy hair, she slipped on her slippers and walked to the door, peeking through the peephole before opening it. A hotel housekeeper in uniform stood there, pushing clean cleaning tools, and politely nodded to her.

Su Enxi was wondering why the hotel had sent someone over when she hadn't even called for cleaning yet. The cleaning lady smiled and nodded, saying "Sorry to bother you," and pushed the tool cart straight to Jiu De Mai's bedroom.

Su Enxi became even more curious and followed the cleaning lady, wanting to see what was going on. But she had only taken two steps when her wrist was suddenly grabbed from behind. Jiu De Mai had followed her there and was blocking the bedroom doorway, completely obstructing her view.

Su Enxi's eyes darted around, and she instantly realized what was going on. She raised her eyebrows, her eyes full of schadenfreude: "Not bad, long legs. You still had the nerve to say I was being naughty in the middle of the night yesterday. So you were hiding something yourself? Isn't this the pot calling the kettle black?"

Mai Shude remained calm and replied indifferently, "Potato Chips, I advise you not to judge others by your own standards. I just accidentally spilled red wine on the bed, unlike you who are so shameless."

"Ha, that's easy for you to say." Su Enxi sneered, trying to break free of her grip. "If there really is spilled red wine, what's wrong with me going in to check? What, are you feeling guilty and afraid to let me see? Dare to let go and let me in to check?"

"I'm doing this all for your own good," said Mai Shude, a kind smile plastered on her face, but her grip on Su Enxi's wrist remained tight. "With your clumsy movements, you'd only be causing trouble for the cleaning staff if you went in. Wouldn't it be better if you just waited here?"

Su Enxi stopped talking and gathered her strength to squeeze into the bedroom, focusing all her attention on how to break through Jiu De Mai's blockade.

After several minutes of back and forth, footsteps echoed from the room, and a cleaning staff member emerged carrying soiled sheets and blankets. Su Enxi couldn't squeeze in an inch. But at this point, she no longer needed to try to break through the blockade. With her sharp eyes, she could clearly see a faint stain near the corner of the blankets the cleaning staff was carrying—a mark left after the dampness had dried. Both the color and shape were identical to the stain on the living room carpet earlier.

Su Enxi stopped struggling instantly, slowly withdrew her hand, turned around and then slowly turned her head back, glancing sideways at Jiu De Mai. She didn't say anything, but her eyes were full of mockery.

As Mai looked at the mark, a faint blush crept onto the tips of her ears, but she showed no fear whatsoever. She simply turned her head slightly away expressionlessly, turning her gaze toward the French windows in the living room, pretending that she hadn't seen anything.

"Huh, why is this place dirty too?" The cleaning lady noticed the stains on the carpet, immediately squatted down, lifted the edge of the carpet to roll it up for washing, her movements quick and practiced. After rolling up the stained carpet and placing it on the cart, she straightened up, rubbed her shoulders, and looked up to see Lu Mingfei's bedroom door at the end of the corridor, which was tightly closed. She then turned back to Su Enxi and Jiu Demai, who were standing in the living room, and asked, "Do the bedding in that room need to be changed as well? I'll take it down to wash too."

Upon being asked this, Su Enxi and Jiu Demai suddenly realized that quite a bit of time had passed since Lu Mingfei entered the room and closed the door. It was just a simple matter of going in to wake someone up; why had it taken so long? Even if the two of them were delayed, they should have come out by now, right?

Su Enxi stepped forward, waved to the cleaning lady, and said with a smile, "No need, Auntie, you don't need to change rooms. Thank you for your hard work today. Please take these with you."

After the cleaning lady left and closed the door, Su Enxi turned around, leaned close to Jiu De Mai, and whispered, "Long legs, you said the boss has been inside for almost a day and hasn't come out. Could it be that he's..." She didn't finish her sentence, but raised her eyebrows and winked at Jiu De Mai, as if they understood each other perfectly.

"Don't overthink it. Maybe the boss has something important to discuss?" Mai Shude said calmly, even raising her hand to tidy up a stray hair by her ear, appearing nonchalant, but she was still somewhat surprised inside.

"How about... we go over and listen? The door isn't that soundproof anyway, we won't get caught if we listen." Su Enxi wasn't going to let this opportunity pass. As she spoke, she took off her slippers and, barefoot, tiptoed towards Lu Mingfei's bedroom.

"If the boss finds out you're doing this, he'll definitely kill you." Mai Shude lowered her voice and stopped her, reaching out to tug at Su Enxi's clothes, but her feet betrayed her and moved forward, unable to resist following Su Enxi, step by step, shuffling along the wall towards the bedroom door.

Having finally reached the bedroom door, Su Enxi stopped, leaned against the wall to catch her breath, and then carefully turned to the side, pressing one ear tightly against the cold door. The moment she did, she heard Lu Mingfei's voice coming from inside: "Are you going to talk or not?! You're not going to talk, are you?! You're asking for it!"

Then came a flurry of noise; the commotion could be heard even through the door. After a while, Lu Mingfei's voice rang out again: "What kind of look is that?! Still not talking?! You're finished!"

Upon hearing this, Su Enxi quickly looked away, turned her head, and winked at Jiu De Mai behind her. Jiu De Mai also happened to be leaning over, and their eyes met. They instantly understood each other's meaning—so the boss was interrogating the Dragon Queen. Oh, then it's alright.
