On the sacred Buddhist mountain, a lotus lantern quietly went out.

A monk stumbled and fell towards the temple, shouting:

"Something terrible has happened! The life lamp of Bodhisattva Lingji has gone out!"

This shout startled the birds lying prostrate on Mount Ling and also made the praying monks and bodhisattvas turn their heads.

Upon hearing that Bodhisattva Lingji's life lamp had been extinguished, everyone present was astonished.

Lingji Bodhisattva is a powerful Bodhisattva on Mount Ling. Who could possibly kill him?

Soon, the monk prostrated himself before the Buddha.

Inside the main hall, the Buddhas remained peaceful, silently reciting scriptures, bathed in a radiant light.

It is truly said: A Zen mind illuminates a thousand rivers like the moon, and a true nature purifies the vast sky.

Before he could speak, the Buddha, seated high above, slightly opened his eyes and uttered a reassuring voice:

"Why panic? Lingji is not dead."

Upon hearing this, the Vajra Bodhisattvas present calmed down and waited for the Buddha to speak.

The Buddha plucked a flower and a leaf, realizing his true nature and sincere will, and simply began to explain:

"He has cultivated to the level of a Great Golden Immortal, immortal and indestructible. However, his physical body is completely destroyed. It will take five hundred years of wind, five hundred years of sun, and five hundred years of rain to reconstruct his Buddha body and attain Buddhahood again."

He was a Great Immortal, not some nobody. The death of his physical body meant nothing to Bodhisattva Lingji.

Even if Buddha had countless ways to give Lingji a physical body, it would not be a Buddha body cultivated through practice. If he wanted to become a Bodhisattva again, he would have to endure this suffering.

However, the matter of transcending life and death is true; even the Six Ding Divine Fire cannot completely burn a Great Luo Golden Immortal.

Unless Sun Qiong obtains an even more powerful magic weapon in the future.

Seeing that all the Buddhas were calm, the Buddha continued to speak:

"I already know about this matter. No one else can go. Only the Venerable Guanyin, with her great supernatural powers, can go."

All the Buddhas said, "Excellent."

Then, a crane flew out from the sacred mountain and headed straight for Mount Putuo in the South China Sea.

In no time at all, the Guanyin Bodhisattva's sacred site was reached.

Those seeking enlightenment looked up and saw the Bodhisattva, whose virtues were perfected and wisdom filled his golden body. Jewels and jade ornaments hung from his hair, and fragrant rings adorned him with precious stones. His dark hair was cleverly styled like a dragon's coiled hair, and embroidered ribbons fluttered lightly like colorful phoenix feathers.

He relieves the eight difficulties, delivers all beings, and possesses great compassion. Therefore, he guards Mount Tai and resides in the South Sea, seeking out the cries of those suffering, and is answered by all who call upon him, a thousand saints and a thousand spirits.

Orchids delight in purple bamboo, and fragrant vines are loved by all.

He is the compassionate master of Mount Luojia, the living Guanyin of the Chaoyin Cave.

At this moment, the Bodhisattva was preaching, his words flowing like lotus blossoms, while the Dragon Girl stood behind him, listening quietly.

The audience was completely mesmerized.

The sermon stopped when the crane arrived.

"Bodhisattva is a white crane from Mount Ling."

The boy stepped forward, led the white crane, and brought it to the Bodhisattva.

The Bodhisattva merely glanced at it before turning to look at those around him.

Among all these seekers of the Way, only a few have the most steadfast faith in it.

Although Muzha had followed him for many years, his strength was insufficient.

The Golden-haired Hou is quite powerful, but its demonic nature remains. If released, it might bring disaster to the world.

Although the goldfish in the lotus pond are capable of water combat, they are not very useful.

"The Dragon Girl Who Brings Wealth".

The Bodhisattva finally fixed her gaze on the Dragon Girl.

Upon seeing this, the Dragon Girl stepped forward to accept the order.

"Dragon Girl, I have a task for you: capture the Six-Eared Macaque and bring him to Mount Luojia to be punished."

The dragon girl clasped her hands together and rode away on a cloud.

Looking at the reward in front of her, Sun Qiong did not show much joy.

The fact that this mission was rated as perfect is not hard to understand.

After all, he had personally killed a Bodhisattva.

However, according to the system, Bodhisattva Lingji did not die; his physical body was simply refined by the Six Ding Divine Fire.

It's unlikely they'll be able to cause trouble anytime soon.

But Sun Qiong could not rest easy.

His attack on Bodhisattva Lingji was clearly known to the Buddhist community.

Guanyin Bodhisattva sent the Dragon Girl, presumably intending to capture him directly and take him back.

Although the Dragon Girl was not exceptionally powerful, she had a magical artifact given to her by Guanyin Bodhisattva, as well as a special headband spell to activate the golden headband.

If it were a face-to-face confrontation, Sun Qiong would probably be defeated without even being able to hold on.

What's more, the system assigned him the Flowing Sand River mission at this time.

Sun Qiong already had a plan in mind regarding how to treat Sha Wujing.

If it weren't for the Dragon Girl incident, things would be much easier to handle, but now that she's involved, we'll probably have to resort to other methods.

"We absolutely cannot let the Dragon Girl catch up with us."

Thinking this, Sun Qiong turned to look at the reward.

Unlike the ten peaches that were three thousand years old last time, this time there is only one peach, but it is a peach that is six thousand years old from heaven.

The peaches of immortality, which are six thousand years old, are said to grant immortality.

Sun Qiong, being a stone monkey, didn't care about this. Unlike Sun Wukong, the Six-Eared Macaque, as one of the Four Chaotic Monkeys, was neither among the Ten Categories nor even in the Two Realms.

Although there are calamities, there is no worry about not aging, nor will they enter the cycle of life and death.

Of course, Sun Qiong couldn't withstand something like Laozi's alchemy furnace for the time being. He estimated that he would be burned to ashes while hiding in the Xun direction.

"Buddha, Bodhisattva, Venus, and those people all have built-in location tracking. Once they've got your eye on you, you're definitely not going to escape. But with the Dragon Girl, there might be a chance."

With that in mind, Sun Qiong turned her attention to the remaining rewards.

Aside from the Treasure-Dropping Coins, which he didn't understand, Sun Qiong could immediately tell what the Red Water Formation and the Wind-Following Ears were for.

The ability to hear far and wide is naturally used to gather information from afar, and it certainly proved useful to Sun Qiong.

It's a pity there's no matching telescope; otherwise, locking onto the Journey to the West team would be much easier.

Another famous red water formation is known as "the one from which even immortals cannot escape."

It is an unpredictable killing formation, the ninth of the Ten Deadly Formations of the Intercepting Sect.

This thing requires three red water gourds to make the Ren Gui water in the north endless and change the heavens.

With this, it would be much easier to ambush those immortals.

It will be able to be used on the Dragon Girl in a little while.

The only problem is that this thing is an array, and setting it up takes a lot of time.

"So, what exactly is this 'Falling Treasure Coin'?"

Sun Qiong didn't know anything about this round, square-holed, coin-shaped thing with wings on the left and right.

With a flick of his wrist, the Treasure Coin appeared in Sun Qiong's palm.

Focusing his consciousness on the falling treasure coin, a line of text quickly appeared above it.

"So, this is the system introduction, isn't it?"

Upon seeing this, Sun Qiong was overjoyed and quickly focused her attention.

[Falling Treasure Coin: It can restrain all magical treasures below the level of Innate Supreme Treasure, and also has the effect of deducing and concealing heavenly secrets.]

After reading the introduction, Sun Qiong gasped in shock.

Compared to the things mentioned above, the most useful thing for Sun Qiong right now is this Treasure-Dropping Coin.

This thing can conceal the secrets of heaven, which means that Sun Qiong's position will be directly obscured.

As long as those important figures in the heavens don't use their rare innate treasures, he will be absolutely safe.

With this, Sun Qiong had a basic guarantee for whatever she wanted to do next.

"Heaven has not forsaken me."

Sun Qiong laughed heartily, holding the Treasure-Dropping Coin in his hand, and activated his magic weapon.

The next moment, mysterious Heavenly Dao inscriptions flew out from the Treasure-Dropping Coin, swirling around Sun Qiong before slowly disappearing, as if nothing had happened.

The dragon girl from the lower realm, who was originally heading straight for Sun Qiong, stopped halfway there with a surprised "Eh!"

Taking out the positioning compass from her bosom, the dragon girl's face gradually became strange:

"The six-eared macaque, is it dead?"

"Impossible, something must be wrong."

Even if she were truly dead, the Bodhisattva wouldn't send her down to the mortal realm.

After a while, the Dragon Girl made up her mind to go to Huangfeng Ridge, which is eight hundred miles away, to investigate in person.
