Journey to the West: Black Six Ears

002. The Elder Falls into the Trap

He consumed the elixir of immortality and drank the imperial wine.

Sun Qiong then understood what the four monkeys meant.

Although he doesn't have Sun Wukong's memories or his martial arts skills.

However, the Six-Eared Macaque's body, like Sun Wukong's, is a naturally formed stone monkey.

What Wukong can do, Sun Qiong can do as well.

The elixir and imperial wine did not grant him instant immortality; they merely enhanced his hearing and vision, transforming them into a mass of energy that sustained his body and was stored within his abdomen.

This feeling made him feel as if he were constantly immersed in warm spring water, washing away the grime from his body.

"So this thing is basically a battery?"

After thinking it over, Sun Qiong found the elixir increasingly intriguing.

If one could consume large quantities of elixirs and imperial wine to store up the energy, one might well become a giant nuclear warhead.

The reason why Sun Wukong was able to become indestructible was not only because he rolled around in Laozi's alchemy furnace, but also because he ate a lot of peaches of immortality, imperial wine and elixirs.

"I'll find an opportunity to practice it myself."

Having made up her mind, Sun Qiong walked along the coast.

Soon, he arrived at this part of the East China Sea.

Looking at the boundless sea in front of her, Sun Qiong was not worried.

Going into business is definitely not an option for him given his current abilities.

But he now possesses a new supernatural power that he has just acquired, called astral projection.

Since the physical body cannot enter the sea, then the soul can go out.

Finding a cave, Sun Qiong lay down on the ground, slowly closed his eyes, and a wisp of green smoke rose from his head.

His body lay on the ground, his breathing faint.

Upon experiencing her soul leave her body for the first time, Sun Qiong was curious about what she actually looked like.

It's a pity that the reflection in the water doesn't show the image.

Sun Qiong dived into the East China Sea and swam towards the deep sea.

He had originally thought that with such a vast ocean as the East China Sea, it would take a very long time to explore it bit by bit.

As soon as they stepped into the East China Sea, Sun Qiong spotted a white dragon circling in the distance.

"Great Sage".

Upon seeing Sun Qiong, the dragon immediately breathed a sigh of relief, quickly transformed into a human, bowed, and greeted her.

Sun Qiong looked surprised, not expecting the dragon to be waiting here.

This made things convenient for Sun Qiong.

"I am Ao Moang, son of the Dragon King of the West Sea, and I have come here specifically to await the Great Sage."

Ao Moang pointed eastward, signaling Sun Qiong to follow.

Sun Qiong activated her spiritual body and followed behind Ao Moang.

"The son of the West Sea Dragon King, is he waiting for me here in the East Sea?"

The Six-Eared Macaque doesn't have that kind of face; it's probably an arrangement from the Buddhist side.

Just like Wukong back then, Sun Qiong is now being pushed along step by step by those Buddhist deities.

With Ao Moang leading the way, Sun Qiong quickly arrived at the East Sea Dragon Palace.

At this moment, apart from the shrimp soldiers, crab generals, and turtle prime minister, all four Dragon Kings were gathered in the Dragon Palace.

Upon seeing Sun Qiong clad in precious armor, everyone's expression changed slightly.

Having seen Sun Wukong several times, the Dragon Kings were even more astonished. They never expected that this new monkey would be exactly like Sun Wukong, even wearing the golden headband on his head.

If this is Sun Wukong, then who is the monkey currently trapped under the Five Fingers Mountain?

Could it be that Buddhism has some new moves in the works?

With a thousand thoughts swirling in their minds, the four Dragon Kings merely exchanged a glance before bowing to Sun Qiong with beaming smiles.

"I was unaware of the arrival of the celestial being; I, the humble dragon, have failed to greet you properly."

The Dragon King of the East Sea stepped forward and bowed to Sun Qiong.

The monkey in the suit in front of him was indeed putting a lot of pressure on the Dragon King of the East Sea.

"Dragon King, I have come to retrieve the things prepared by the Bodhisattva."

After thinking for a moment, Sun Qiong decided to adopt the attitude of Sun Wukong and boss the Dragon Kings around.

Seeing his unbridled behavior, the dragon kings quickly led Sun Qiong towards the Dragon Palace.

"Immortal, this weapon is like the Sea-Stabilizing Needle, it cannot be lifted or carried. You must see it for yourself."

"Where is it? Lead me there."

The Dragon King led them to the middle of the sea, where they saw a golden, divine iron pillar rising up not far away.

It looked exactly like the Ruyi Jingu Bang (the magic staff), but when Sun Qiong stepped forward, he saw several words engraved on the divine iron.

"The Ironclad Soldier Who Follows His Will"

As Sun Qiong finished speaking, the divine iron that was supporting the Dragon Palace began to shrink at a visible speed.

In the blink of an eye, this treasure was only twelve feet long and as thick as a bowl.

The weight remained unchanged; when held in the hand, it weighed a full thirteen thousand five hundred jin (approximately 6,500 kg).

But Sun Qiong didn't find it heavy at all; on the contrary, she felt it was substantial and would definitely feel comfortable to swing.

"My darling, my darling."

Seeing that Sun Qiong was about to show off the divine iron on the spot, the old Dragon King was terrified and quickly spoke up:

"Great Sage, please wait, I have something else to discuss."

"Old Dragon King, please speak."

Sun Qiong put away the iron-armored weapon and waved his hand.

The old Dragon King finally breathed a sigh of relief and quickly explained the reason:

"The Bodhisattva has decreed that if the Great Sage obtains the weapon, he may set off immediately. The Holy Monk has already departed."

Has the holy monk already set off?

Doesn't that mean that the time when Tang Sanzang meets Sun Wukong is not far off?

To change the outcome of being killed, one must intervene in the Journey to the West storyline as early as possible.

Sun Qiong also wanted to know what kind of reward the system would give him when he got involved with the main storyline.

But before that...

Sun Qiong's eyes darted around, and she immediately grabbed Lao Long's shoulder, her face beaming with smiles.

"Great Sage, what are you doing?"

The old Dragon King trembled, and his face immediately showed fear.

Based on his understanding of Sun Wukong, he knew that if the monkey showed such an expression, something bad was definitely about to happen.

"Old Dragon King, as you can see, my soul has left my body, while my physical body remains outside. You must help me."

Sun Qiong was very clear about her current situation.

Although he has the basic conditions of Sun Wukong, the Six-Eared Macaque cannot fly and does not have a somersault cloud. He doesn't know how long it will take to get to the Tang Dynasty.

Now that we have a flying dragon king, we might as well take advantage of it.

"Great Sage, let Ao Moang see you off."

The old Dragon King's eyes darted around, and he immediately spotted the little dragon hiding not far away, pointing at him quickly.

And so, Sun Qiong sat on the dragon's back and headed towards Liangjie Mountain.

Meanwhile, on the other side, the bamboo taps as the waning moon sets, and the rooster crows as dawn breaks.

Xuanzang put on his cassock and left Hezhouwei.

It was late autumn, and the elder, accompanied by two followers, headed west.

"You got up too early."

Tripitaka raised his head.

The bright moon casts its clear light, and the white frost stains the white robes.

In an instant, the elder sat upright, as if about to recite a poem.

Unexpectedly, a fierce wind swept through the mountains, and fifty or sixty demons emerged, dragging Sanzang and his entourage up with them.

The mage, trembling with fear, peeked up at the demon king sitting above, who appeared extremely ferocious.

"Men, summon Lord Xiongshan and Master Te! We'll have meat to eat today!"

Upon hearing this, Sanzang raised his head and immediately saw a ferocious-looking black man and a fat man with towering horns.

Two men staggered forward, exchanged greetings, and then pointed to the three people tied to the stone and asked.

Where do these three come from?

The demon king chuckled, "You've delivered yourself to my doorstep."

The fat man clapped his hands and laughed: "Is it possible to entertain guests?"

The Demon King patted his belly: "Of course, it's flattery!"

But then the burly Xiong Shanjun raised his hand to stop him:

"Do not use it all; consume two and leave one."

Upon hearing this, Sanzang trembled all over, his legs went weak, and if the ropes hadn't been tied tightly, he would probably have been rolling on the ground by now.

The first hardship I faced after leaving Chang'an came so quickly.

Before these three strange creatures, the elder could only close his eyes and dared not look any further.

At this moment, the three demons stepped forward, and the fat man pointed at one of his followers: "Can this person be steamed?"

"I can't eat it, I can't eat it, the old man's flesh is too tough."

The Demon King waved his hands repeatedly, his face showing refusal.

The burly man pointed at another follower: "Can this person be blown up?"

"Don't eat it, don't eat it, young and strong meat is too tough."

The Demon King continued to shake his head, simply rejecting the idea.

"What should we do?"

The two demons scratched their heads, unsure how to proceed.

If these two don't eat, are they going to eat Tang Sanzang instead?

That won't do. There are clear orders from above; this Tang Monk cannot be eaten.

The Demon King chuckled, stood behind the two demons, and pointed at the follower.

"To make tough meat tender and firm meat soft, you need two ingredients."

"Huh? General Yin has such insights, but I wonder what two ingredients he's using?"

The Demon King picked up the sword at his waist and shook his head:

"Naturally... it's ox heart and bear gall."

After saying that, the white knife went in, and the red knife came out.

The two demons stared in astonishment, the knife protruding from their chests stained crimson with blood.

"You! You!"

Before the two demons could say anything, the blade twisted, and the demons were disemboweled and their hearts were cut out, their heads severed along with their bodies.

"what?"

The elder was horrified and nearly died of fright.

This demon even kills his own people, let alone the three of them?

The servants trembled even more, not daring to utter a single cry of sorrow.

The demon merely watched the three of them coldly, slowly raising the knife in his hand.

"what?"

The elder closed his eyes in fear and dared not speak.

A wave of sorrow washed over me. Was this journey to the West to obtain Buddhist scriptures, which hadn't even taken its first step, already coming to an end?

Tear!

next moment.

Blood splattered everywhere.
