Two Realms: I am a Genius Magician
Chapter 5, First Magic
"Why are you looking at me? You guys continue," Han Qianfei said.
Those who have survived to this day are not only physically strong, but also certainly not stupid; who would be willing to make the first move?
Time passed slowly, and the circle grew smaller and smaller until it was only the size of a basketball court, where everyone could barely maintain a relative balance.
Everyone knew in their hearts that as the circle shrank, four more people would inevitably die.
A black man standing on the outside gradually moved his feet, heading directly towards Han Qianfei's position.
Han Qianfei sensed something, looking at the bulging muscles on the other person's body, he felt that one punch could blow his dog's head off.
He feigned composure and carefully crafted his words, saying, "We're at a stalemate now. Let me say a few words. After the fighting, there will be a ranking, and I suspect that ranking will affect everyone's treatment. As the weakest person here, killing me won't earn you many points."
No one paid any attention to what he said, but Han Qianfei knew they had taken it to heart; at least the black man's pace slowed down.
Han Qianfei continued, "Actually, everyone doesn't need to pay attention to me. Instead, they should focus their energy on their real opponents. If they insist on using me as a scapegoat, they will only expose their own weaknesses."
After Han Qianfei finished speaking, he quickly moved his feet, keeping his heels close to the blue line on the ground. As the blue line moved, he moved with it.
The black guy stopped in his tracks. He had thought it through clearly. If he were to attack this weakling, he would have to make his move at the edge of the survival zone, with his back to everyone. If anyone made a move, he could simply push him and he would fall out of the zone.
Seeing this, Han Qianfei breathed a sigh of relief, thankfully there were no reckless people among the remaining people.
He continued, "Do as you please. If only eleven people remain in the end, I will take my own life and die."
Sure enough, no one paid any attention to Han Qianfei anymore. He was a weakling who posed no threat. Killing him wouldn't improve his ranking, and he would risk being kicked out of the circle. No one was willing to do such a losing deal.
The burly men in the arena sized each other up again, but still no one was willing to make a move.
The strongest man protected the glamorous woman like a mountain, and no one dared to look him in the eye.
Time waits for no one, and the size of the survival zone has shrunk to half the size of a basketball court.
Those who are relatively weak or have suffered minor injuries are anxious.
The black guy suddenly said to Han Qianfei, "Hey! Kid, besides you, who are the other three people who should be eliminated?"
The black guys hoped someone would break the deadlock and provide a target. As long as Han Qianfei was willing to speak, in this delicate situation, even if someone with no influence said a word, it would break the balance and attract the attention of most people.
Everyone turned their attention to Han Qianfei once again.
Han Qianfei rubbed his temples, seemingly having a headache.
Let him choose three people, then everyone gangs up on those three, leaving eleven people, and then he commits suicide.
Just kidding, it has to be a chaotic battle, preferably all at once, leaving only him.
"Ask me? You should ask yourselves where you would rank if you were ranked right now."
Han Qianfei's words instantly stirred everyone's hearts. To maximize their own interests, they would naturally eliminate those with better battle records than themselves.
The second person looked at the person who had killed the most people, and the third person looked at the top two.
They may not be able to rank them precisely, but they have a general idea and know who has a good track record.
The glamorous woman who ranked last and Han Qianfei who ranked second to last were completely ignored.
The burly man noticed the others exchanging glances, and four or five people were already casting malicious looks at him.
He was a decisive man; he grinned and strode towards the black guy, throwing punches the size of sandbags at him.
The black man hurriedly assumed a defensive stance, but it was all in vain against the overwhelming force of Mount Tai. A crisp cracking sound came from his blocking arm.
Seeing that his first strike had landed, the burly man followed up with a knee strike, slamming it into the black man's chest, the sickening sound of bones breaking echoing once more.
The burly man lived up to his reputation as the strongest fighter present, completely crippling the black guy in just a few seconds.
The others finally moved, and the thirteen of them were instantly locked in battle. In the chaos, the black guy was the first to be thrown out of the survival zone. He was already on the verge of death, but the ice arrow still arrived as expected, piercing his head.
In the next minute, two more people were thrown out of the window.
Han Qianfei clenched his fists, his eyes fixed on the battle. He mustn't stop. There was still one more. If he could eliminate just one more person, he would survive. If he survived, he would have the chance to write a letter and contact the official headquarters.
Fate had other plans. The mountain-like man forced his opponent back with a single punch and shouted, "Enough!"
This sound, like a sudden tolling of a bell, stunned everyone, and the battlefield returned to calm.
Even though the man was exceptionally strong, he was injured in many places after the melee, and his right eye was swollen so much that it was only a slit. But his fierce aura swept across the entire scene, and he stood in the center like a war god.
Han Qianfei sighed deeply: My life is over.
They had already stepped out of the clutches of death when that chaotic battle broke out. Everyone was bloodthirsty and would not stop easily.
But who would have thought that such a fierce and ruthless person would appear and stop the chaotic battle?
Eleven people! There really are only eleven people left.
Han Qianfei's first reaction was to look at the glamorous woman who had also not participated in the melee; she was his hope for survival.
The woman had been wary of Han Qianfei for a long time. As soon as the melee stopped, she ran towards the mountain-like man.
"Brother, I'm so scared."
The man, as imposing as a mountain, held her protectively in his arms, his hand caressing her waist, and called out to Han Qianfei, "Kid, it's your turn."
Then everyone remembered to check the number of people and found that there were eleven. They also remembered what Han Qianfei had just said and understood what the mountain-like man meant.
Everyone was seriously injured, and they looked at Han Qianfei, who seemed completely unharmed, with anger in their eyes.
Han Qianfei moved slowly, following the contraction of the blue line, and said with a smile, "Listen to me..."
The man, as imposing as a mountain, interrupted directly, saying, "Stop with your clever tricks. Go out yourself, or we'll take care of it."
Han Qianfei remained unmoved.
Everyone was exhausted and in pain, and all they wanted was to end this as soon as possible.
A man with a missing ear walked towards Han Qianfei. He figured that once he pushed this weakling out of the circle, it would be over. It was that simple.
Han Qianfei's expression instantly turned cold. He slowly raised his right hand, and a faint blue light appeared. A stream of cold air shot out and blew into the face of the one-eared man.
The man immediately stopped in his tracks, his face filled with terror.
Han Qianfei thought to himself: It's done!
"Anyone want to give it a try?" Han Qianfei asked, keeping his right hand raised.
Jiang Xue'er, who was in the air, saw this scene and her eyes lit up.
Han Qianfei was actually bluffing. During the time he lay down and pretended to be dead, he had been carefully observing Jiang Xue'er's every spell and secretly learning from her.
After persistent effort, he discovered that he could indeed control the movement of the blue light spots through willpower. So he tried to arrange the light spots into a six-pointed star, but he failed many times and his head started to ache more and more.
Just now, in that life-or-death moment, Han Qianfei decided to compress the six-pointed star to the size of a one-yuan coin, and unexpectedly, this time it actually worked.
However, the effect was not satisfactory; there were no icicles, only cold wind.
Han Qianfei had exhausted all his tricks and was resigned to his fate, but he never expected that a gust of cold wind would stop the man in his tracks.
Only then did he realize the significance of this ability to unleash magic in the eyes of ordinary people.
