Four Skills for All.

Chapter 9 The Theory of Physical Limitations

When Mo Xiu realized that Old Tang was the old man from the library, he instantly felt like he had been tricked.

After a few words of conversation, the four students sat down in what was supposed to be a classroom, which was an ordinary room.

At the very front of the room was a bed and a blackboard, with chairs scattered haphazardly behind them.

After the group entered, they quickly tidied up the room, arranging the chairs to make the classroom look less messy.

Just as Mo Xiu was wondering how the teacher was going to teach with a bed placed at the very front,

Wang Yu strode into the classroom, sat directly on the bed, pushed up his glasses, and said, "Good, everyone's here."

Mo Xiu was so shocked he couldn't speak. From the name to the classroom to the teachers, everything about this cosmic training course seemed completely arbitrary.

Mo Xiu felt like he might as well stay at school and study on his own. Looking at the other three, they were all looking at Wang Yu with respect.

Wang Yu coughed twice and said, "Ahem, let me first introduce the course of the tutoring class to you. It will last for ten days, divided into theoretical classes taught by me in the morning and practical classes taught by my brother Wang Lei in the afternoon."

"First of all, I should clarify that what is taught in tutoring classes may not be of much use in your college entrance examination."

"The main focus is on improving your practical skills; the theoretical classes have little to do with the high school curriculum."

"Do you have any questions? If not, I'll get right to the lesson."

Seeing that no one answered, Wang Yu continued, "Okay, today we'll talk about the basic understanding of skills."

Mo Xiu didn't understand. He had just said that he wouldn't talk about high school knowledge, so why was he talking about basic understanding of skills now?

"You all know about the randomness of skill awakening, but do you know about its stability?"

Mo Xiu shook his head, indicating he didn't know, but Fatty Liu Ziyang said smugly, "I know, skills can be inherited."

Wang Yu added, "That's right. Skills don't appear completely randomly; they have a genetic component. In other words, there's a high chance that you'll inherit the skill types your parents have."

"The stability of skills is not only based on these factors, but also on the individual's physical constitution, which limits a general direction. I call it the constitution limitation theory."

"Physical constitutions are divided into many types. The largest categories are warrior constitution, assassin constitution, mage constitution, and auxiliary scout constitution. Of course, there are some special categories, but they are relatively rare."

"With a warrior's physique, the awakened skills are most likely to be basic offensive and defensive skills."

Assassin physique, awakened skills are mostly agile, stealthy, and high-burst skills.

With a mage-like constitution, their skills tend to be more focused on elemental damage.

Similarly, everyone has their own physical constitution, and the choice of skills is mostly limited to this range.

Mo Xiu's expression was serious. This was not a basic understanding of skills at all. If this unprecedented theory were true, it would cause a sensation throughout the country. But why had he never heard of it before?

Mo Xiu asked, "Teacher, I have a question. Why have I never heard of this theory before?"

Wang Yu pushed up his glasses and said with a smile, "It would be strange if you'd heard of it, because I summarized this theory myself."

Not only Mo Xiu, but the others were also stunned by Wang Yu's words. Was this too frivolous? Was he just going to present the theory he had summarized like this?

The skinny Yue Yuan asked, "Teacher, how accurate is your theory?"

Wang Yu didn't answer Yue Yuan's question, but instead said directly, "Mo Xiu has the physique of a warrior, Liu Ziyang has the physique of an assassin, Yue Yuan has the physique of a formation master, and Mu Qingyi can't be mentioned. Think about it yourselves, am I right?"

Everyone fell silent. Mo Xiu focused on his skills. His current active skill was the Descent of the God of War, which, according to Wang Yu's theory, was indeed suitable for a warrior's physique.

Seeing that no one spoke, Wang Yu continued, "Let me introduce myself again. I am an intelligence officer from the Shadow Headquarters. My first skill is X-ray vision. Don't misunderstand, this skill can see your basic attributes. My second skill is integration, which can integrate and classify big data. My third skill is analysis, which can quickly analyze data. My fourth skill is secrecy."

"I am a data-driven person, which means I am a true brain worker. Many people know about my skills, so there is no need to keep them secret. All my theories are based on certain evidence."

Mo Xiu was shocked. Individually, these skills were not strong, but when combined with Shadow's powerful intelligence system, they were simply too powerful.

To put it dramatically, the person giving him a lecture is the central computer of Shadow.

Mo Xiu never expected that such an important figure would come to give him a lecture, especially since he had just questioned the other party.

Afterwards, Wang Yu talked about many skills and knowledge that Mo Xiu had never heard of before, and the four of them picked up paper and pen to take notes.

Mo Xiu once again expressed his expectations for the Cosmic Tutoring Class. What Wang Yu said might not really help with the college entrance examination, but it would play a very important role in future development.

Making good use of this knowledge could potentially change the outcome of a battle or even the course of a campaign.

The lesson lasted the entire morning, and Mo Xiu didn't relax for a single second to listen and take notes.

The whole class felt incredibly satisfying. It wasn't just a lesson, nor was it just a deeper understanding of skills; it was an enhancement of my overall cognition.

This extremely important lesson for Mo Xiu was taught in such an ordinary courtyard, in a simple classroom, with the teacher sitting on the bed.

Perhaps due to different upbringing, Mu Qingyi and the other two did not have such a deep feeling. They may have been influenced by their surroundings at home since childhood and knew some skills and knowledge to some extent.

But Mo Xiu's knowledge from childhood all came from school textbooks, which led him to spend the whole afternoon reflecting on the knowledge that Wang Yu had taught him.

The practical lesson was at 1 p.m., and the four of them stood neatly in the center of the courtyard.

Wang Lei walked up to the group unhurriedly and said, "This is a practical training session. You need to understand the importance of practical training. There will be no assessment in the theory session in ten days, only practical training. So you all need to be on your toes."

"yes!"

The four of them shouted in unison.

"Alright, class is now in session. Today's lesson is about sparring with me. You'll all come together."

Mo Xiu and the other three exchanged bewildered glances. What was going on? Why were they being so direct?

Mo Xiu asked, "Teacher, shouldn't we go for a run to warm up first?"

Wang Lei said unhappily, "When you encounter an enemy, do you expect them to give you time to warm up? Besides, I'm not here to practice your basic skills. Get started!"

The four had no choice but to bite the bullet and go for it. Mo Xiu was a little troubled because he didn't even know what his teammates' skills were. How could they fight like this?

As the captain, Mo Xiu had no choice but to strike first. His whole body flashed with golden light as he activated the Descent of the Martial God and punched Wang Lei in the face.

Wang Lei didn't move at all, but his entire body was instantly covered in flames, even his face was engulfed in flames.

Mo Xiu's punch landed squarely on Wang Lei's face, but Wang Lei didn't budge. Instead, Mo Xiu had to take two steps back to regain his balance.

Looking at the burn marks on his hands, he stared at Wang Lei in shock, realizing that he couldn't break through Wang Lei's defense even with his skills.

How do we fight this battle?
