Four Skills for All.

Chapter 88 The Strongest Guild Sets Off

On August 5th, Mumu announced a holiday, firstly because there was still nearly a month until the school team competition, so there was no need to train every day, and secondly to give time to students participating in the club competition.

With some free time finally available, Mo Xiu waved his hand, preparing to fulfill his duties as the club president and convene a general meeting.

The conference was a great success, because even Duya came.

Duya changed her attitude of disliking Mo Xiu and actually began to take him seriously.

When asked about the reason for her change in attitude, she left behind only one famous quote.

"Only the strong deserve respect."

This clearly acknowledges Mo Xiu's strength and recognizes him as the leader of the strongest gang, holding a meeting for everyone.

Hao Ren, Liu Ziyang, Yang Qingzhuo, Dong Fang, He Lingyue and Du Ya sat in their seats.

Mo Xiu spoke eloquently at the very front.

"As the president of the strongest club, the individual and team competitions are just around the corner, so I've decided to start training."

The people in the audience were all surprised. The strongest club was actually going to train. It was like the sun had risen in the west.

Mo Xiu continued, "Yanjing University's educational approach is based on competition, which I admire, but I feel it still has some shortcomings."

Hao Ren asked earnestly, "President, what's lacking in this kind of education? It's full of competition, which can help everyone grow quickly. I think this competition-based education method is at least one or two levels ahead of other universities."

"Vice President Hao is right. This approach is indeed very good for a school. However, if we want to make real progress, I think the competitive pressure is not enough. We also need a sense of crisis, the kind of crisis where we could be seriously injured if we are not careful."

While everyone else was still a bit confused, He Lingyue was the first to react.

"Mo Xiu, I bet you've taken on another mission that you want everyone to complete together?"

Mo Xiu corrected him, "What you said is not entirely correct. I did accept a task that required everyone to complete together, but the order was wrong. It wasn't that I wanted everyone to complete the task together after accepting it, but rather that I accepted the task to hone everyone's practical skills and teamwork."

Upon hearing this, the six people divided into two camps: one consisting of Dong Fang, Yang Qingzhuo, and Du Ya, who believed Mo Xiu's words.

Dong Fang was simple-minded and didn't think too much about it. Yang Qingzhuo was a big fan of Mo Xiu, so she believed whatever she was told.

Duya simply didn't understand Mo Xiu and didn't know that Mo Xiu, who usually seemed very serious, could be a bit silly at times.

The other group consists of He Lingyue, Liu Ziyang, and Hao Ren. Mo Xiu's words are too fake; he must be trying to drag them into this for points and cash.

However, neither faction opposed Mo Xiu's proposal.

At this point, everyone has some time, and since the seven-person group has not acted together before, they don't know each other very well yet, so this is a good opportunity to get to know each other.

Looking at the various expressions on the faces of the audience, Mo Xiu said shamelessly, "Since no one has any objections, then it's settled."

He then took out six documents and handed them to everyone present; these were the task information.

The two previous major missions, one was the underground arena, and the other was the capture of Wang Jinyang, were both investigative missions.

This time it's different. This time it's simple and brutal: an annihilation mission.

Open the first page of the document.

"Elimination Mission: 'Catfish'"

Difficulty level: C

Mission objective: Kill or capture all members.

Mission Rewards: 2000 points, 1 million cash reward (15% of the reward will be deducted for each member who escapes).

"Elimination Mission: The Bandit Gang 'Black Hand Cao Xiao'"

Mission Level: B

Task details: ......

After reviewing the information, there are a total of twenty-seven missions, most of which are of difficulty level C and D, with a few at level B. The members of the strongest guild should be able to handle them.

The targets of the missions are marginalized individuals who congregate to commit crimes. This is a task that should normally be handled by law enforcement, but since the advent of these skills, the crime rate has increased, and some people's skills are specifically suited for crime, making them difficult to apprehend.

Therefore, the focus of law enforcement is to ensure safety within the city, while such organizations may appear in some unmanaged areas outside the city.

Hao Ren asked in surprise, "President, you accepted all twenty-seven missions?"

Mo Xiu nodded and said, "That's right, the mission deadline is two months, there shouldn't be any problem."

Liu Ziyang said with some worry, "These organizations all have people, and we only have one skill. Can we handle it?"

Duya said, "Why not? The fact that we were able to get into Peking University proves that we are better than them. If they really have the ability, they would be our classmates. I agree with Mo Xiu's decision and have decided to join the team on the mission."

The first person to stand up for Mo Xiu was surprisingly Du Ya, whom he was least familiar with, which surprised Mo Xiu.

He Lingyue also said, "I agree. Last time we completed Wang Jinyang's task together, and I think it was very helpful for everyone's growth. This is something that school competitions can't provide, and I agree with that."

The two women stepped forward to express their opinions, and everyone else echoed their support, except for Yang Qingzhuo, who remained silent.

But it doesn't matter, Yang Qingzhuo listens to Mo Xiu in everything and doesn't need to express his opinion.

Mo Xiu was very satisfied with everyone's reaction. In fact, he took on these tasks because he really wanted to improve his combat skills. It can't be said that the competition is not real combat, but it ultimately lacks the sense of urgency of a real fight.

"Everyone agrees, so let's find a gang to try it out today?"

"no problem!"

"good!"

"I can't wait!"

......

In the evening, the seven members of the strongest club returned to the club activity room.

It took us the whole day to wipe out a small gang of eight people. The mission level was D.

Du Ya spoke first: "We originally had all eight of them trapped in the room. Dong Fang, you were in charge of blocking the door, where did you go? If four of them hadn't run away, would we have had to go through all this trouble?"

Dong Fang said somewhat aggrievedly, "I was in charge of blocking the door, but I saw someone trying to run out the window, so I went to stop that person. Why don't you mention Yang Qingzhuo and Liu Ziyang, who were in charge of the chase?"

Liu Ziyang wasn't very happy either. He sighed and said, "Sigh, I was entangled with that kid. He... he used all underhanded tricks. If I hadn't been careful, I would have been childless."

The mission was eventually completed, albeit somewhat haphazardly.

The incident exposed the lack of teamwork among the strongest guild members, but the root cause of the mission's failure was that everyone had underestimated the challenge.

In real combat, it's a life-or-death struggle. There are no restrictions on the location; if you can't beat someone, you can run away at will. There are no rules either; there are all kinds of weapons and traps, and even dirty tricks are frequently used.

Those who had never experienced this fighting style before found it very difficult to adapt, including Mo Xiu.

Everyone's talking past each other now, it's a complete mess.

Mo Xiu shouted, "Alright, everyone, stop arguing. There are two things we didn't do well on this mission. First, we didn't have a proper plan, which is my responsibility. Second, we didn't treat them as villains, but as students."
