Four Skills for All.

Chapter 23 College Entrance Examination

"Mo Xiusheng, the physical test is over. Hmm... candidates may leave the room."

When Mo Xiu left the room, the six teachers were engaged in a lively discussion.

After the morning exams ended, I still couldn't find Zheng Yi during the lunch break, so I had to find a restaurant to eat something by myself.

Time flew by and it was already afternoon. The skills test in the afternoon was arguably the most important part of the college entrance examination.

Its importance is evident from its maximum score of 400 points.

Moreover, many universities prioritize skills assessment scores when reviewing applicants' grades.

Because of the importance of skills scores, there have been cases in previous years where students had very high total scores but were not admitted to the most desirable schools.

This is because the scores in the written test and physical fitness test were very high, but the skills assessment was the only area where the overall score was low.

The skills assessment is conducted in the science and technology room, which is specifically used to test skills.

It's open to the public at other times, but there's an entrance fee, and the price is beyond Mo Xiu's means, so Mo Xiu has never been inside.

Mo Xiu entered the science and technology room with his admission ticket, and the staff guided him into one of the rooms.

Upon closer inspection, it was discovered that this was an enclosed space with only one door, which closed once one entered.

All three walls were metal, and the last wall was entirely made of glass, through which two people could be vaguely seen sitting.

Mo Xiu wanted to get closer to take a closer look, but then he heard a voice.

The sound came from the speakers on the ceiling.

"Candidates, please wear your glasses and prepare for the exam."

Mo Xiu looked around and spotted a box in the corner.

Upon opening it, it was more like a helmet than glasses, which Mo Xiu took out and put on his head.

Once put on, the helmet automatically locks in place, completely covering Mo Xiu's head.

The helmet did not obstruct his vision, and Moshu could still see everything around him clearly.

"Candidates, please raise your right hand when you are ready. You will begin the assessment in three seconds."

Mo Xiu obeyed the instructions and raised his right hand, as a countdown began to play in his ears.

"3"

"2"

"1"

"The assessment begins."

After the assessment began, the glass wall gradually disappeared and turned into an iron wall.

Then two men in black appeared in the arena, one with the word "Friend" written on his body and the other with the word "Enemy" written on his body.

Mo Xiu immediately realized that one was an ally and the other was an enemy.

Without hesitation, he activated the Descent of the God of War to provide support.

As Mo Xiu reached the spot where the two were fighting, the enemy suddenly punched his teammate, severely injuring him, and then jumped backward.

Mo Xiu reached out to help his teammate up, but the teammate vanished as soon as he touched him.

Looking up at the enemy, he found they had vanished as well. Mo Xiu looked around but couldn't find any trace of the man in black.

Suddenly, the man in black appeared in front of Mo Xiu and threw a punch.

Mo Xiu responded immediately, but when he hit the man in black, it felt like hitting a steel plate.

No matter how Mo Xiu attacked, he could not defeat the man in black. As time went by, Mo Xiu discovered that the man in black was becoming stronger.

Finally, the man in black grew so strong that Mo Xiu could no longer resist, and punched Mo Xiu in the head.

"The assessment is over."

As the sound of a computer screen filled my ears, the man in black disappeared, and the glass wall reappeared.

Mo Xiu removed his helmet and put it back in the box, awaiting further instructions.

Mo Xiu roughly understood the mechanism of the skills assessment. The initial battle between the two men in black was to test the candidates' support skills. If they had support skills, they could buff their teammates.

The subsequent incident where a teammate is injured and falls to the ground is a test of the candidate's healing skills; they must be able to heal their teammate.

The enemy then disappeared, which was probably a test of the examinee's reconnaissance skills.

The final battle is a test of the limits of combat skills.

Mo Xiu did not hold back his strength during the exam, but went all out to fight.

Hiding secrets is indeed important, but Mo Xiu thought that hiding God's prying eyes was enough.

If even the arrival of the God of War has to be kept secret, then it's far too timid and hesitant.

However, Mo Xiu was very curious whether this detection system could detect God's spying.

Five minutes later, the teacher said, "The assessment is over. Please leave the room."

Mo Xiu walked out of the assessment technology room and wandered around the playground alone.

"Mo Xiu, you're here!"

Mo Xiu smiled and walked over when he saw that it was Mu Qingyi.

"Yeah, I just finished the exam. Let's wait for the results. How did it go?"

Mu Qingyi said, "Not bad. How about you? You should be fine, right?"

"I'm fine, everything's going smoothly. By the way, which school are you going to?"

Mu Qingyi hesitated for a moment before saying, "Actually... it's the Federal Academy."

Mo Xiu was somewhat surprised. The three major academies of the alliance were Yenching University, the Federal Academy, and the Faith Academy.

These three schools correspond to the three major powers before the war.

Although all humans now belong to the Alliance, you can't get into the Federal Academy by taking the college entrance exam in Shuncheng.

Firstly, because of the distance, and secondly, because the lifestyles on both sides are somewhat different.

"Was it arranged by your family?"

Mu Qingyi had long ago said that everything about her was arranged by her parents and that she had no right to make any decisions.

Mu Qingyi nodded gently and said, "Yes, we probably won't see each other again."

"You can't decide everything about yourself, but I can decide mine. I'll come find you later."

"Really?"

"real."

......

An hour later, the results were announced. Everyone's scores were posted on the bulletin board on the playground and sent to their personal mobile phones.

After receiving the text message, Mo Xiu immediately went home because the score was... 1000.

As far as Mo Xiu knows, fewer than 10 people have ever achieved a perfect score in the National College Entrance Examination (NCEE) over the years.

Staying at school might lead to being harassed by reporters, so I had to go home.

First place: Mo Xiu. Score: 1000 points

Second place: Mu Qingyi. Score: 981 points

Third place: Liu Qingyu. Score: 923 points

Fourth place: Zheng Yi. Score: 901 points

Fifth place: Wang Xuanhu. Score: 898 points.

Wang Xuanhu was the most furious after seeing the list, as he originally thought he had the top spot in Shuncheng No.1 Middle School in the bag.

Not only did Liu Qingyu and Zheng Yi get ahead of him, but Mo Xiu, that good-for-nothing, actually got a perfect score.

Now Wang Xuanhu has only one thought: Mo Xiu cheated, and he must find Mo Xiu and make him reveal his true colors.

Ye Qian'er, who was at home spacing out, received more than ten messages in a row.

Ye Qian'er was a little confused. Ever since she insisted that Mo Xiu was alright, she had been ostracized. Why would so many people suddenly contact her?

Upon seeing the message, Ye Qian'er hurriedly put on her clothes and rushed to school.

Those messages were sent by classmates to apologize to Ye Qian'er.

Most of the messages were: "Qian'er, I misunderstood you. I didn't mean to speak ill of Senior Mo before. Could you put in a good word for me and introduce him to me?"

Furthermore, someone said, "Mo Xiu is too amazing! From now on, Mo Xiu will be my idol."

When Ye Qian'er arrived at the playground and saw the rankings, she almost burst into tears.

It wasn't because Mo Xiu did well on the exam, but because it proved that Mo Xiu was alright.

For so many days, no matter how nasty the rumors were, Mo Xiu did not appear to respond, and even Zheng Yi got into trouble.

Ye Qian'er once thought that Mo Xiu had really gotten into trouble.

It's great to see that Mo Xiu is alright.
