The Tathagata of Many Treasures sat upright on the golden lotus, looking at the Buddhist monks in the Great Buddha Hall, and said in a voice as loud as a bell: "Amitabha!"

The world is filled with suffering, and Buddhism has emerged in response to this need, dedicating itself to relieving the suffering of all beings and demonstrating the compassion of Buddhism!

Currently, Xiniu Hezhou is under the influence of our Buddhist teachings, but in the four continents, there are still countless beings waiting for our Buddha's salvation and guidance.

Fellow disciples, in your opinion, which continent should our Buddhist sect go to next to deliver all sentient beings?

Upon hearing this, the many Buddhist monks in the Great Buddha Hall fell into a brief silence.

After a short while, Manjushri Bodhisattva spoke first: "May the Buddha have mercy. This humble monk believes that among the four continents, the Northern Continent is a land of miasma, while the Southern Continent is entangled in cause and effect!"

That Eastern Continent of Victory is full of wondrous spiritual energy and countless blessed lands; it is fitting that it be the sacred ground for our Buddhist practice!

At least the Tathagata of Many Treasures put on an act, using the guise of universal salvation to expand the territory of Buddhism and enhance its fortune.

Puxian, however, didn't bother with pretense and immediately set his sights on Dongsheng Divine Continent, the continent with the richest spiritual energy among the four great continents.

In an instant, the many Buddhist monks in the Mahavira Hall became unsettled.

Amitabha Buddha!

You've taken a fancy to Dongsheng Shenzhou?

You're dreaming!

The Eastern Continent is the base of the Xuanmen. Although the Xuanmen saints do not appear in the Immortal Realm, they are only confined, not dead.

Moreover, the Heavenly Court's attention is focused there this time.

What's wrong?

Do you want to test the strength of that Great Celestial Venerable of the Three Realms?

The Buddha, seated on the golden lotus, looked at Samantabhadra with some surprise.

How dare Samantabhadra?

To actually make this suggestion directly—is this a proposal to have Buddhism wage war against both the Xuanmen (Taoist sect) and the Heavenly Court simultaneously?

Let's leave the Xuanmen (Taoist sect) aside for now.

Duobao knew how deep the waters of the Heavenly Court were.

That Great Celestial Venerable was none other than the Dao Ancestor's attendant, a Quasi-Saint at the peak of his power.

During the Great Tribulation of the Investiture of the Gods, the Xuanmen disciples were tolerated in every way, which was only because of the Heavenly Dao Saint.

But now that the sages are not visible in the Immortal Realm, what does that Great Celestial Venerable have to worry about?

If you really anger him, although he might not openly attack Buddhism, he could still cause Buddhism a lot of trouble by secretly making things difficult for them.

After all, the current situation in the Three Realms is clear: the Heavenly Court is destined to prosper, and the Buddhist sect cannot escape the influence of the Heavenly Court if it wants to flourish.

However, looking at the confident Samantabhadra, the Tathagata patiently asked, "Oh? Why do you say that, Samantabhadra Bodhisattva?"

"Reporting to Master, there are countless spirits in the Eastern Continent of Divine Victory. They are naturally unruly and will unintentionally create boundless karma!"

"May the Buddha, in his compassion, extend his light eastward to universally illuminate the divine land of Dongsheng!"

Samantabhadra was naturally aware of the situation in the Three Realms, but his inherent pride prevented him from taking Haotian seriously.

In his view, in the past, the Chan Sect only had one sage behind it, Yuanshi Tianzun. Faced with Yu Ding Zhenren's provocation, Haotian could only suppress his anger!

Right now, the Western Buddhist sect has two Heavenly Saints behind it. The Buddhist sect has its eye on the Eastern Continent, so what can Haotian do?

Tathagata was fully aware of Samantabhadra's thoughts. He glanced at Samantabhadra with a calm expression, but thought to himself, "This one comes from the Chan Sect. Although he betrayed the sect and joined the Western Sect, the pride of being a disciple of the Chan Sect has not yet dissipated." At this moment, he only wanted to say to Samantabhadra, "Times have changed. Haotian didn't dare to make a move before because of the Sages."

But now that the Sage is confined to the Immortal Realm, what does Haotian have to worry about?

Suppressing his thoughts, the Buddha then said, "The Eastern Continent of Divine Victory has its own Heavenly Court for teaching and guidance; it has no need for our Buddhist sect to convert it!"

Seeing that his proposal was rejected, Samantabhadra was somewhat surprised. Could it be that the World-Honored One was afraid of the Heavenly Court?

But soon, as if he had thought of something, he calmed down and said, "What the World Honored One says is reasonable!"

With Puxian's proposal rejected, the Great Buddha Hall once again fell silent, and the Earthly Immortal Realm consisted of only four major continents.

The Eastern Continent of Divine Victory is inaccessible, the Northern Continent of Uttarakuru is a land of miasma and pestilence, and the Southern Continent of Jambudvipa is entangled in karma.

The concept of karma is something that even the most powerful beings, let alone sages, are unwilling to get too involved with. For example, the two Western Saints owed Hongyun a great debt of karma because of the abdication of the Zixiao Palace. Although they secretly used their influence to cause Hongyun's death and demise, thus avoiding the need to repay the karma, they still damaged their reputation.

Since everyone here is a cultivator, naturally no one is a fool.

The fall of Hongyun was the greatest benefit to you two Western Saints. Even if you didn't instigate it or stand by and watch him die, it's still unacceptable.

This shows that even sages who are tainted by cause and effect will end up in a sorry state.

After a long silence, Cihang Bodhisattva, who was beside Samantabhadra, finally spoke up: "World Honored One, why don't we expand Buddhism into the underworld?"

That underworld has eighteen levels of hell; only by saving countless souls can the Buddha's compassion be truly demonstrated!

Upon hearing this suggestion, Buddha looked at Cihang, who was equally confident, and was momentarily taken aback.

Are all Buddhists this confident?

If the Heavenly Court is so difficult to deal with, is the Underworld any easier to enter?

Putting aside the two, Pingxin and Meng Po, even the Ziwei Emperor Zhao Gongming is a stubborn fellow who won't listen to reason!

The one who plotted in the underworld is still in the eighteenth level of hell, trying to convert the souls of the dead. It seems there's no chance he'll ever get out.

The one who plotted in the underworld before him is still being tortured in the fiery hell!

Suddenly, Tathagata Duobao felt that the responsibility of revitalizing Buddhism was indeed quite heavy.

After calming down, Duobao simply replied, "The time isn't right yet!"

For a moment, the Great Buddha Hall fell silent again. Seeing this, Duobao said with some disappointment, "I have thought of a place, 'Beiju Luzhou'!"

Although this place is rife with miasma and teeming with demons, it is not necessarily a bad thing for our Buddhist sect.

The miasma is rampant; only by purifying and eliminating it can the supernatural powers of Buddhism be truly demonstrated!

There are many demons; only by converting them to Buddhism can we truly demonstrate the Buddha's compassion!

Clearly, Duobao already had a target in mind, which was Beiju Luzhou, where the Jie Sect was located.

Previously, the Buddhist sect would have looked down on the miasma-ridden Northern Continent, but now it is a completely different place.

As for the Jie Sect, it is also located in Beiju Luzhou.

In Duobao's view, Beiju Luzhou was so vast that even though the Jie Sect claimed to have ten thousand immortals paying homage, it would probably be difficult for them to occupy even a single state.

His Buddhist sect advanced northward, gradually taking shape, and even the Jie Sect found it difficult to resist.

Most importantly, this was at the behest of those two sages. With the sages' backing, Duobao naturally had more confidence.

As soon as Duobao finished speaking, all the Buddhist monks hurriedly exclaimed in unison, "May the Buddha be merciful! The Buddha's insight is profound!"

As for whether there is any need to develop the Northern Continent, the Buddhist cultivators said that it is not important at all, as long as you are happy!

Didn't we see that Kinnara was banished for provoking the Buddha?

What a great achievement it is to spread the Dharma in Xiniu Hezhou!

It was because he offended the Buddha that he was expelled from Buddhism and banished to the Netherworld.

Thus, the matter of the Buddhist sect moving north to Uttarakuru was settled.
