Spy War: My Cheat Code is a Rat

Seeing the crowd downstairs out of the corner of his eye, Lu Chen hesitated for a few seconds before his eyes hardened completely.

There's only one way left.

Lu Chen took out a pen and a small notebook from his pocket and tore off a page.

Ever since he last sent a message to Wang Deming, he had prepared one just in case, but he never expected to need it now.

After writing a few simple lines on a piece of paper, he handed it to Mouse One, asking him to find any mouse to take the paper to Shen Ruoqiu.

The man watched the rat leave before his gaze fell on the note on the ground, and he bent down to pick it up.

The man could already see the black lines on the note even before it was unfolded and was still folded.

"What is it?"

As soon as the man finished speaking, Shen Ruoqiu stood up in disbelief, came to his side, and stared at the note in his hand.

After reading the note, the man, seeing that no one was paying attention to him, stuffed the note into his pocket, his tone full of disbelief.

Was the information relayed by a mouse?

"Did Agent Rat give us this information? But didn't he betray us?"

The fact that the mouse was delivering the message only surprised Shen Ruoqiu for a moment. After seeing the information on the note, reason took over and she began to analyze it.

"The organization did indeed report a defection, but what if this information is true?"

The man stroked his chin; neither of them dared to readily believe the contents of the note.

The organization clearly stated that the rats had betrayed them, so what's the story behind this information?

"It could be fake. Maybe there are Japanese soldiers lying in ambush in the stairwell right now."

Shen Ruoqiu, with a sullen face, stated the worst possible outcome.

The man nodded, "That's possible." After thinking for a few minutes, he spoke again.
