Another month has passed, and it's now February of Konoha Year 50. Winter is more than halfway over.

Like a withered tree coming back to life in spring, tiny buds sprout on the lonely branches, and before long, tender leaves will cover the entire spring day.

"Shisui, be a good boy at home." Uchiha Sora patted Shisui's head.

"I can do it." Shisui raised his fist, his gaze resolute. "Brother, I can now throw three shuriken at this spot."

"Is that so? Shisui is really smart." Uchiha Sora greeted him with a smile in his eyes and left the house.

As he stepped outside, he still felt the faint gaze upon him. He sighed softly, wondering which mysterious person had been watching him for half a year, doing nothing but staring at him.

Having no other opportunity, he went to the waterfall behind the mountain.

Looking at the silver waterfall cascading down three thousand feet, he felt a pang of emotion. It was right here that he had used the glory of the Uchiha clan to kill the Sunagakure spy.

It felt like a lifetime had passed. Half a year had gone by since he took the Chunin Exams. As usual, the system would occasionally assign simple tasks, mostly things like helping to find cats. The rewards were simple: a certain amount of chakra. His current chakra level could be considered a mini-"Tailless" level.

The last time a mission offered a high-level reward like a summoning scroll was to rescue Tsunade and obtain the summoning scroll Shukaku.

Some unremarkable things have happened these past few days.

First, there's Tsunade. Ever since he saved her, this gambling addict would occasionally come to tease him, but most of the time he came to borrow money, spouting mindless things like "this time I'm sure to win."

Secondly, there's Konan. After their conversation in the park, she didn't leave immediately but instead stayed in Konoha for a while, hiding her identity. During that time, she invited him to join the Akatsuki organization more than once, but she returned a few days ago.

Then there's the Anbu side. He heard that Danzo seemed to have gone out three days ago, and he didn't know what he was doing. For this old fox, nothing happens without a reason. He thought about it and realized that there was indeed one major thing Danzo did during this period in history, which was to sow discord between Hanzo and the Akatsuki.

But it has nothing to do with him.

Watching the cascading spray of the waterfall, Uchiha Sora's thoughts raced. He had many ideas, but little he could do.

"Kong, what are you doing?" At that moment, a figure landed beside him.

Uzuki Kaze glanced at the waterfall and asked in confusion, "There's nothing much to see here. What were you thinking about so intently that you didn't even notice I came?"

His wandering thoughts were pulled back by Uzuki Kazunari. He looked up and saw that Uzuki Kazunari was almost fully recovered. As for why she was almost recovered, it was because she was left with some aftereffects.

According to the doctor, Kaze's hearing seems to have deteriorated somewhat, but he doesn't seem to care.

"It's nothing." He shook his head.

"Alright, come here, I'll teach you the Crescent Moon Dance." Uzuki Kazunari didn't care; today's matters were more important.

Uchiha Sora nodded and followed him to the riverbank.

That's why I'm here today. What Uzuki Kaze said before about teaching Uchiha Sora ninjutsu wasn't a joke.

"The Dance of the Crescent Moon is an A-rank sword technique ninjutsu. Since it is a sword technique ninjutsu, it naturally involves a sword. If I didn't know you could wield a sword, I wouldn't have taught you."

Uchiha Sora was completely focused. What was he lacking right now? It was ninjutsu outside of the system.

"The principle is quite simple: the combination of shadow clones and swordsmanship to attack from multiple directions, with an emphasis on swordsmanship," said Uzuki Kazunari, breaking off a branch from a nearby tree. "Pick up your sword."

Uchiha Sora nodded, put down the sword box, took out the Kusanagi sword, and twirled it with a very cool move.

"Now, disable chakra and attack me using only swordsmanship," Uzuki Kazunari said calmly.

Uchiha Sora hesitated for a moment. When he first gained the glory of the Uchiha clan, he indeed didn't know how to use a sword. However, he hadn't been idle during his time in the Anbu. His swordsmanship had improved significantly. Meanwhile, Uzuki Kazunari in front of him only had a tree branch in her hand...

Uzuki Kaze saw through his thoughts and smiled. "Don't worry, there's nothing to hold back. As for swordsmanship, I'm better than you think."

Upon hearing this, Uchiha Sora no longer hesitated, raised his hand, swung his sword, and unleashed a storm of sword techniques at Uzuki Kaze.

One minute later, Uchiha Sora sat on the ground, his eyes glazed over.

Uzuki Kaze's swordsmanship was damnably stronger than he had imagined. That slender branch seemed to come alive in his hands. Every time he slashed with the Kusanagi sword, the branch would hit his sword at a tricky angle. He couldn't bring himself to put down his opponent's attacks, and now several red marks had appeared on his arm.

If it were a real sword, his face would turn ashen, because he had been killed "three times"—three times in one minute.

"Is the difference in swordsmanship really that outrageous..." He stuck out his tongue and wiped his hand against his clothes; the branch had just hit the back of his hand.

"Hmm... your swordsmanship is better than I imagined." Uzuki Kazunari was also lost in thought.

Seeing that Uchiha Sora always carried a sword, he assumed he was a swordsmanship prodigy. However, after the sparring match, he discovered that the guy was just a greenhorn who hadn't been practicing swordsmanship for very long, which gave him a headache.

However, since the words have already been spoken, it's obviously too late to take them back now.

"Hmm... Sora, your swordsmanship is quite commendable." Seeing the gloom on Uchiha Sora's face, Uzuki Kazunari thought for a moment and comforted him.

"Alright, I know my own limitations, you don't need to flatter me like that." Uchiha Sora rolled his eyes. "In short, can I learn this?"

"Yes." Uzuki Kazunari nodded. "In principle, the upper limit of this ninjutsu is determined by your swordsmanship. Although your swordsmanship is only so-so, you have met the minimum requirements."

Uchiha Sora's eyes lit up. "Then why don't you teach me?"

Uzuki Kaze smiled slightly, and Uchiha Sora smiled in return.

"no."

Uchiha Sora's smile vanished abruptly as he met Uzuki Kazunari's serious gaze.

The latter said in a deep voice, "Although you have met the minimum requirements to learn the Crescent Moon Dance, I will not allow others to learn my trump card so poorly."

Uchiha Sora: ...

"So, what are your thoughts?"

A serious look settled in Uzuki Kaze's eyes. He adjusted his non-existent glasses and slowly began to speak:

"This week, I'll teach you how to use a sword. I'll teach you more when I feel you're ready."

Uchiha Sora: ...

So every day thereafter, he would be dragged to the woods by the wind before dawn to practice swordsmanship, and he wouldn't be able to go back until dark. He was exhausted every day and would fall asleep as soon as he got home.

This went on for two whole weeks.

"Today, you can learn the Crescent Moon Dance."
