Naruto: This Uchiha is too innocent.

Chapter 34 Uchiha Sora, I will never forgive you!

After Uchiha Sora and Kakashi emerged from the grove, Obito looked at them with intense suspicion, and said with a smirk:

"In broad daylight, under a clear blue sky, what secrets can't we know? There's definitely something between us!"

The two ignored him. Kakashi glanced at Rin, then at Sora. Bromance? He thought the two of them were more likely to be passionate.

"Obito, come on, I have something to tell you." Kakashi gave Obito a look.

He felt that Kong should have something to say to Lin, and he didn't want to be a third wheel, ruining the atmosphere and making things awkward.

"Huh? Can't we talk about this here?" Obito stared at Uchiha Sora warily. He felt that if he and Kakashi left, they might spark something between them, being alone together.

"Stop talking nonsense." Kakashi rolled his eyes and used his captain's authority to forcibly drag Obito away.

"Hey, Kong, you're alone with Lin, don't you dare touch her inappropriately!"

Rin realized that Kakashi and Obito had left, leaving only herself and Sora. Her heart started pounding, and she became shy, lowering her head, putting her hands behind her back, and standing on her tiptoes.

She thought to herself that it was all Obito's fault. What nonsense about a lone man and woman? He just talked nonsense and made her overthink things.

It's a bit funny. Rin was a lively girl when she was facing Kakashi and Obito, so why is she acting like this now?

He laughed and said, "Aren't you going to ask me what I talked about with Kakashi?"

"May I?"

"Of course...no."

"Kong, you're teasing me again."

"Haha, I just saw you were too nervous."

Soon, the awkward atmosphere dissipated thanks to Uchiha Sora's words, although Rin's face remained rosy and she looked quite beautiful.

Suddenly, Lin thought of something, turned around and ran to a tree, took a bag of snacks out of her bag and handed it to Uchiha Sora.

It's a bag of pistachios.

Uchiha Sora tore open the packaging. "And you're carrying snacks in your bag during special training?" Suddenly, he leaned closer to Rin, smiling, and said, "What? You were actually looking forward to me coming?"

Seeing the face less than a foot away, Lin's heart pounded. She thought, "Too close!" She turned her face away and stammered, "I, I, I just... I'm keeping my bet."

Seeing that Rin was about to turn into a steampunk princess if things continued like this, Uchiha Sora stopped teasing her, distanced himself, and started eating pistachios.

"When carrying out missions, don't act alone. It's best to stay close to Kakashi and stay away from that unreliable Obito," he casually remarked, finding the pistachio truly crisp and delicious. "By the way, you guys are going on a mission tomorrow. What kind of mission?"

"An A-level mission," Lin answered honestly.

"Grade A? That high?"

"Yes, Minato-sensei is here too."

"Oh, I see. Then be careful. If you encounter someone you can't beat, remember to run away and let Minato cover your retreat. He's more powerful, so don't worry about him."

Lin thought to herself, "If Minato-sensei heard that, there would probably be a whole 'teachers-student harmony' scene. If Minato-sensei heard that, he'd definitely give you a piece of his mind..."

It turned out that Uchiha Sora had suddenly fed her a bunch of pistachios.

Seeing Rin pouting her little mouth like a cute little squirrel, Uchiha Sora's eyes lit up. Suddenly, the pistachio in his mouth didn't taste so good anymore, so he stopped eating it and focused on feeding Rin.

I thought to myself: No wonder there are so many scenes of feeding animals in the novel, it's because the food smells so good.

Soon, Rin swallowed the whole bag of pistachios, and Uchiha Sora clapped his hands.

"Alright, I should go back now. Remember what I said: if there's danger, let Minato and Kakashi handle it! Don't try to be some kind of lone hero like Obito."

"If I see you injured after this mission ends..." Uchiha thought for a while, "then I'll ignore you for a month."

"No," Lin blurted out, then blushed and lowered her head, remaining silent.

Uchiha Sora smiled. Sure enough, Rin was easy to handle. He ruffled her hair and turned to leave.

A short while later, Obito and Kakashi returned. Obito immediately noticed Rin's messy hair and rosy cheeks, and instantly, inappropriate images flashed through his mind.

Like a bolt from the blue, with a thud, he knelt on the ground, facing the sky with a sorrowful expression, "Uchiha Sora! I will never forgive you!!"

Kakashi's lips twitched, and he silently distanced himself; getting too close to an idiot could easily lead to catching their idiocy.

As for Uchiha Sora, did he really leave?

The answer is no, because he was caught by Minato.

"Hehe, if there's danger, Minato and Kakashi will go. Tsk tsk tsk, you really are my good disciple~" Minato looked at Uchiha Sora with a smile, the latter was afraid that a Rasengan would block his hat.

He shrank back and retorted, "What's the problem? As the teacher of Class Seven, shouldn't you stand in front of them if there's danger?"

"That makes sense, but the way you're saying it gives off a vibe of sacrificing your own for the sake of others. I'm getting angry. Come on, let's spar."

He then released Uchiha Sora and walked towards the nearby grove of trees.

Just as Uchiha Sora was about to slip away, he heard Minato's voice drift over: "The Flying Thunder God seal won't disappear~"

Uchiha Sora's expression stiffened as he recalled the mark Minato had left on his arm last time. With a bitter look, he walked into the grove.

Ten minutes later, Uchiha Sora emerged, his face bruised and swollen, followed by a refreshed Minato.

"Alright, you can go now." Minato waved his hand dismissively, completely ignoring Uchiha Sora's resentful expression.

At the end of the day, the Chunin will begin to engage in battle the next day.

As Kurenai walked home, she kicked a stone off the roadside out of boredom.

"Hong, is training over for today?"

An auntie greeted her warmly by the roadside, and she responded with a casual "hmm," lacking the vibrancy she usually displayed.

As Uchiha Sora said, she was terrified of the cruelty that was about to come, so she was indifferent to the kindness currently emanating from those around her.

She quickly stopped, and under a streetlamp not far away, stood a familiar figure.

"Father?!" she exclaimed, rushing over with a smile on her face.

Kurenai Yuhi, one of Konoha's Jonin, is skilled in genjutsu and is also Kurenai Yuhi's father.

"Why are you here?" Kurenai asked, looking up.

"Hehe, today is the day your special training ends, so I came here especially to pick you up. How about it? Surprised?" Yuhi Shinku lifted her up and said with a smile.

"surprise!"

Many of Konoha's Jonin are active on the front lines, and this genjutsu master is one of them, rarely having the opportunity to return.

"You should have a mission tomorrow, right?"

"Hmm, it's a B-level mission, and the teacher assigned Class 8 to complete it on their own."

"A B-level mission... That's alright, be careful."

"Yeah, don't underestimate me, I'm pretty good now."

"Haha, of course I believe my good daughter."

The two walked home, chatting about everyday things. The confusion that had been weighing on Yuhi Hong's heart dissipated considerably after seeing her father. Under the streetlights, their shadows grew longer and longer...

until……

"Kurenai, I heard you've been getting quite close to a boy named Uchiha Sora lately?" Kurenai Yuhi suddenly asked, though a smile still lingered on her face.

But Kurenai knew clearly that her father was unhappy.

The smile on her face vanished abruptly.
