Naruto: This Uchiha is too innocent.

Chapter 112 The Thoughts of the People

"Coco's here~"

With light, cheerful words, Rin gently opened the door and entered, steadily carrying freshly brewed tea. She carefully placed the tea on the table, then took out a cup and gently placed it in front of Uchiha Sora, reminding him, "It's freshly brewed, be careful it's hot."

This special treatment made Obito, who was standing nearby, feel very uncomfortable. He couldn't help but complain, "Rin, you're so biased! Why did you only give it to Sora?"

"Obito, you're so long-winded. If you don't want to drink it, I'll take it away right now."

Upon hearing this, Obito quickly waved his hand and said with a grin, "Oh no, no, I love Rin's cocoa the most, how could I miss it?"

Hinata Ame picked up her glass of warm water and drank it quietly, her face expressionless and not given to much talk.

Rin's interruption instantly made Uchiha Sora forget the thought that he had saved Hyuga Ame.

Hinata Ame's attitude towards him was truly peculiar. Back in the Anbu, she always liked to intrude into his life without asking. At least, he had never seen Hinata Ame interact with anyone else so proactively; it seemed that only towards him did she show this special treatment.

……

Because Hyuga Ame always had a cold expression, the atmosphere at the beginning of the morning tea was not harmonious. It wasn't until Rin and Obito gradually got used to the aloof aura emanating from Hyuga Ame that things slowly improved. Obito casually shared interesting things that happened to him every day, while Rin listened to Obito's long-winded ramblings, secretly glancing at Uchiha Sora out of the corner of her eye, a smile occasionally appearing on her lips. As for Hyuga Ame, he seemed to be in another world, doing nothing, just sitting quietly, with a serene and ascetic air, like a hermit monk in the mountains.

Clearly, the two beautiful women present weren't particularly interested in the amusing stories Obito was telling. Uchiha Sora, however, listened with great interest. After all, life in the Anbu was far too monotonous and dull, nothing ever seemed new or exciting. Therefore, Obito's tales were undoubtedly a welcome change for him.

"Guy was quite depressed a few days ago, but Kakashi seemed to have talked to him alone, and then Might Guy, who keeps talking about youth, is back."

"I wonder what Kakashi and Guy said to each other."

"Yes, I'm quite curious."

When the topic turned to Kakashi, Uchiha Sora suddenly remembered something, "I heard that Kakashi learned Chidori."

Seeing that he had spoken up, Lin seemed very interested, "Yeah, I saw Kakashi use Chidori with Obito. The power was terrifying. It easily pierced through rocks."

"Although I'm very unwilling, Kakashi has indeed surpassed me now, damn it!" Obito pouted.

"Hey, hey, hey, Kakashi is always better than you," Uchiha Sora thought helplessly.

"Penetrating rock? If that's the case... then piercing Lin's heart would be a piece of cake." This thought suddenly occurred to him, and he gasped, "Why did I think of that?"

"Hehe, Sora, maybe you're no match for Kakashi right now. I heard he's taking the Jonin Exams this month. If he succeeds, he'll be the first among his generation to become a Jonin," Obito suddenly said cheekily.

It seems that he was happier than Kakashi, who was inferior to him and could not defeat him.

Uchiha Sora smiled faintly, offering no explanation. In the past two years, he had had little interaction with his peers, so those who truly understood his strength were few and far between. Clearly, Obito was not among that few.

"Instead of wasting your energy making fun of me, you should think more about yourself." He smiled. "Maybe you'll never become a Jonin in your lifetime."

"How is that possible!" Obito's eyes widened in disbelief. "At most a year, no, half a year! I will definitely surpass Kakashi and become a Jonin!"

"I'm really looking forward to it."

"Your face is full of disbelief! Rin, you definitely believe me, right?" Obito turned to look at Rin, seeking her approval with an expectant expression.

Lin simply gave a kind smile in response.

"Look, even Rin is giving me a smile that shows she believes in me." Obito said smugly, as if he had already gained the approval of the whole world.

Upon hearing this, Uchiha Sora almost spat out his cocoa. He thought to himself, "That smile... it looks like I'm just smiling and not saying anything. How did you interpret that as someone who trusts you?"

"Speaking of which," Obito suddenly remembered something, his expression changed, and he said through gritted teeth, "I heard from the people in the clan that you seem to have awakened the Sharingan. Don't be so smug, I'll awaken it soon too."

Uchiha Sora said, "When did I ever feel smug? Besides, awakening the Sharingan is really not something to be happy about. When you truly awaken it, you will only deeply experience that unforgettable pain."

However, he didn't intend to dampen Obito's fighting spirit. After all, a young person's growth always requires experiencing some hardships on their own.

"Ku, you've awakened your Sharingan?" Rin asked with a worried expression. Unlike Obito's envy, she had heard that awakening the Sharingan was very painful for Uchiha, so she only knew that Uchiha Ku had experienced something bad.

Hinata Ame remained calm. Uchiha Sora had used his Sharingan during training, so she already knew about it.

Uchiha Sora closed his eyes, and the moment he opened them, his black pupils had transformed into single tomoe.

"So beautiful..." Lin looked into those eyes, momentarily lost in thought, and murmured softly.

"Beautiful?" Upon hearing this, Uchiha Sora laughed and said self-deprecatingly, "In the village, besides the Uchiha, I guess you're the only one who thinks so. Everyone else would avoid those eyes like the plague."

No, I bet even that idiot Kurenai Yuhi would think the Sharingan is beautiful.

"She's really beautiful," Lin whispered. Uchiha Sora was even more attractive after activating his Sharingan. She blushed whenever she looked at him.

"Kong, does Hong know you've awakened your eyes?"

"Oh, she knows."

"As expected..." Lin said softly, her head down.

"What did you say?" Uchiha Sora didn't hear him clearly.

"I think Hong is probably the one who gets along best with Kong among their peers," Lin said with a smile, though there was a strange bitterness in it.

"Is she the best?" Uchiha Sora thought for a moment, then pouted and said, "Well, well, it's about the same. After all, she's the only one who has nothing better to do than say she likes me all the time, and she's shameless too."

"Red? Is it that little girl with red eyes?" Suddenly, Hinata Ame asked.

Uchiha Sora paused for a moment before remembering that Kurenai Yuhi was also present when he met Hyuga Ame at Kikyo Mountain.

"But, didn't Hong introduce herself back then? Hagiyu, you only remembered her name now...?" He thought to himself helplessly.
