With the various NCAA tournaments coming to a close, the NCAA has moved directly into Phase Four, also known as the March Madness Finals.

The divisions for each of the 64 teams, the seedings, and the matchups for each division have all been freshly released.

Wake Forest University was placed in the Abaquek region and is the No. 3 seed in the tournament.

Hmm, what the heck is Abaquerque District?

The question refers to the area names of the four major districts in the past, such as the East District, West District, South District, and Central West District.

Since 2004, the NCAA has been playing a new game, naming the four divisions after the venues of the Round of 16, regardless of whether fans can accept or understand it, as long as it showcases the democracy, freedom and independence of the United States.

The competition will begin on March 15th. After the champions of each division are determined, the final four will move to the final venue, St. Louis, on April 2nd for the ultimate showdown.

In the Abaquerque Group, Wake Forest University is undoubtedly the number one seed, after all, it was once the number one in North America. It is placed in the upper half of the bracket and will play Villanova Wildcats in the first game. If it can advance to the second round, it will face the winner between West Virginia University and Pittsburgh University, which is also a tough team to beat.

This Wildcats team has two major periods in its history, such as winning the NCAA National Championship twice in three years from 2016 to 2018, which earned them a reputation that even elite teams fear.

Another instance is in 1985, when the Wildcats, through teamwork and defense, defeated Georgetown University, led by Patrick Ewing, who had reached the 3rd Madness Finals three times in four years.

The turning point came in 2001. Under the guidance of head coach Jay Wright for four years, the Wildcats finally made a comeback after 16 years.

However, as a weak team, they were matched with the elite Wake Forest University team, much like the first-dan Zhan Ying was matched with the ninth-dan Rui Naiwei in a Go competition.

Wake Forest University's starting five are: center Rick Williams, power forward Chris Ellis, small forward Chen Dong, shooting guard Justin Gray, and point guard Chris Paul.

Villanova University's starting five consisted of center Josh DeRozan, power forward Kevin Lowry, small forward McNardy, shooting guard Randy Foye, and point guard Allen Ray.
