"The Nivre live ten to twenty feet underground. They dig burrows out from under the vegetation. Maybe if you throw a gold coin, you can lure them out," the fairy leading the way said seriously.

Bai Lin rolled his eyes. This guy was just fooling the tourists. You throw a gold coin, the Niffler comes out, but your gold coin is gone. Maybe one gold coin isn't enough, and he'll encourage you to keep throwing. In the end, the fairies grab the Niffler and shake it, and then they collect the gold coins.

However, Bai Lin was willing to spend this small amount of money to complete Dumbledore's mission. He took out a handful of gold coins and two black iron boxes from his bag. One box contained more than a dozen gold coins, while the other box contained only one, but he also injected the Shadow Demon's energy into it.

He threw both boxes into the garden and then quietly observed. After a while, several small black-furred creatures emerged from burrows in the bushes. They looked a bit like needle-nosed moles, but Bai Lin thought they looked more like platypuses.

While Bai Lin and Catherine were carefully observing the Nifflers, another fairy came down the hillside with a well-dressed wizard, seemingly also there to buy Nifflers.

The scent of gold coins attracted dozens of Nifflers, who all rushed towards the box with the most coins, scratching and biting as they tried to open it. But Whitescale wouldn't let them succeed so easily. The box could only be opened a crack, and then the Nifflers tried to take the metal box with them, only to find that it was extremely heavy and the little creatures couldn't move it.

As for the other metal box, only one Niffler hesitated before walking over. Bai Lin noticed that the Niffler was different; its eyes were noticeably red, instead of the small black beans of a normal Niffler.

The red-eyed Niffler circled the box containing dark magical energy a few times, then pounced on it and opened it a crack. Some shadow energy spilled out of the box, but the red-eyed Niffler, like a human smoking, took a deep drag through the crack and inhaled the spilled shadow energy into its nose.

"That's it!" Bai Lin pointed at the red-eyed creature and sniffed, "30 Galleons, I want that one!" (Since Bai Lin's total magic power reached a certain limit, sealing low-level creatures of levels 1-4 could no longer increase magic power.)

The fairy's eyes darted around and he said, "Oh, sir, that's a very special one. You'll have to pay 100 Galleons."

Bai Lin nearly choked on the fairy's words. "Damn it," he thought, "wasn't it supposed to be 50 Galleons? Why the sudden price increase?" Catherine, clearly fed up, retorted in her usual haggling tone, "35 Galleons at most. Nifflers aren't popular; they only sell for 25 Galleons in Diagon Alley!"

Before the fairy could speak, the wizard who arrived later declared, "One hundred gallons? I'll take that one!"

"WTF! You actually came here to intercept me like this!" Bai Lin cursed inwardly, but his face turned cold as he said, "Excuse me, sir, we were here first, and we've already got our eye on this one!" With that, he waved his hand, and both metal boxes flew back. The red-eyed Niffler was also clearly subdued by Bai Lin in mid-air and flew towards him.

"NONONO! Narik (the fairy who led the Whitescale) made a bid, you didn't accept it, but I did, so it should be mine!" the wizard said, stroking his small mustache. He had already drawn his wand and beckoned it to the red-eyed sniff, which immediately began to spin around in the air.

"The skeleton reappears!" Bai Lin stared at the wizard's left wrist and unexpectedly pulled out his wand, shouting.

The sorcerer recoiled as if bitten on the arm by a venomous snake, glaring at Bai Lin. He seemed certain that if Bai Lin made the slightest move, he would be met with a killing curse or a crushing curse.

Catherine also drew her wand, pointing it directly at the wizard, creating a two-on-one situation.

At this moment, the goblin Narik screamed, "How dare you use dark magic in the garden of the Patrice family!" After his shout, more than a dozen goblins emerged from all directions, each carrying a wand. Although they were short in stature, their fierce and menacing appearance was unmistakable.

"He's a Death Eater!" Bai Lin said, pointing at the male wizard.

"No! You were using dark magic! You used some unknown dark magic on that iron box too!" Narik screamed, pointing at Bai Lin. Instantly, all the fairies pointed their wands at Bai Lin and Catherine.

Bai Lin was practically spitting blood from this. Suddenly, he realized that he was in the Chaotic Good alignment, which would make him the target of hostility from the Lawful alignment. Fairies obviously revered Law, or perhaps they were Lawful Neutral. He had just walked right into their trap.

Although Bai Lin has now mastered a lot of dark magic and is brimming with confidence, he is not afraid of being surrounded by fairies. However, if a real fight breaks out, he will be in the wrong and might end up making headlines in the Daily Prophet.

"Oh! Gentlemen, I just want to buy this Niffler. How about I offer 110 Galleons?" Bai Lin said.

Upon hearing Bai Lin add money, the fairies' expressions softened considerably. However, the sorcerer opposite them said, "I'll offer 150 Galleons, Mr. Narik. He broke the rules of the Patrice family and should be thrown out!"

"200 Galleons, plus my apologies to Mr. Patrice, who is his partner and representative of Mr. Rosdelmo (the full name of Elder Rosdelmo's surname)!" Bai Lin said coldly.

"Deal!" Narik declared decisively. The wizard opposite him protested vehemently, "No! Mr. Narik, this isn't fair!"

Narik said to the wizard, "I'm sorry, Mr. Mugur, but the Seekers are major clients of the Patrice family, and Mr. White is clearly very interested."

Bai Lin felt a pang of heartache as he lost the glittering Galleons. A deal that should have cost 30 Galleons had turned into a loss of 200 Galleons. This was the first time he had ever suffered such a huge loss since arriving in the wizarding world. Just as he was handing the money to a fierce-looking goblin who was injured, the wizard Mugur suddenly pointed his wand at the red-eyed sniffler, who immediately foamed at the mouth.

"You!" Bai Lin was furious and was about to retaliate against Mugur, but after Mugur cast a spell, he took several steps back and disappeared. He was actually a master of Apparition, and his spellcasting speed was comparable to that of a house-elf.

"Stop chasing it, it's dying!" Catherine cried out.

Bai Lin quickly turned around and rushed to the red-eyed Sniff's side. He saw that the poor little thing was on the verge of death. Catherine had cast several healing spells, but they had no effect. This must be a dark magic similar to the Cruciatus Curse. The little thing's internal organs had been completely destroyed.

Bai Lin was absolutely furious, but he gritted his teeth, took out the Summoning Compendium, and released a seal on the Red-Eyed Niffler. It was a last-ditch effort. Fortunately, the Summoning Compendium system seemed to sense his strong desire, and as the Red-Eyed Niffler turned to ashes, the Summoning Compendium gave Bai Lin a hint:
