Chapter 445 Internal Martial Arts Kill the Enemy

"Insolence!" Gracuya roared.

If it were an ordinary human, they would be unable to speak when their throat is tightly strangled. However, Grakua is not an ordinary human. His head, and even part of his upper body, have become "octopus-like." Due to the characteristics of a mollusk, even if his neck is twisted a few times, it may not be fatal. However, there is no strange ancient god energy that makes him indestructible or able to release magic.

Bai Lin felt the tentacles on his hand begin to break free, mainly because the sucker tissue on them started to secrete a strange liquid. He dared not be careless, so he quickly let go, jumped away in a few steps, and moved away from Gracua.

His decision proved to be absolutely correct, because Grakua seemed to have poured all the blood in his body into his tentacles, making the eight tentacles even stronger and more powerful. At the same time, the unknown liquid secreted by Grakua made Bai Lin's palms feel like they were on fire, and he quickly rubbed them off on the ground.

He didn't have time to check the damage to his hands; his strong willpower allowed him to endure the pain, and his fists were still capable of fighting.

Grakua then roared and spat out a stream of ink from his mouth towards Bai Lin, spraying it all over Bai Lin's face.

Bai Lin dared not risk his handsome face to receive the attack. He nimbly rolled away and hid under the large wooden table, using the tabletop to dodge the ink-washing attack.

The large wooden table looked as if it had been doused with concentrated sulfuric acid, and was rapidly corroded by the ink, producing a large plume of white smoke, demonstrating the power of the ink.

"It really is an octopus..." Bai Lin originally thought that these ancient god minions just looked like octopuses, but now that he sees it this way, perhaps like mitochondria, the ancient gods came to Earth at some point in history, which may have been the time of the marine life explosion. So the ancient gods released octopus genes into the Earth, perhaps wanting to use octopuses to conquer the Earth.

If we were to choose one creature on Earth that most resembles an extraterrestrial visitor, the octopus would undoubtedly be near the top of the list. They are so different from other Earth creatures. For example, octopuses have three hearts, but these three hearts are different. One is called the "body heart," which is equivalent to the single heart of humans and other animals; the other two are different, called "gill hearts," which function similarly to human kidneys. They also have nine brains and two memory systems, giving them a very strong memory capacity. Furthermore, octopuses possess many special skills, such as camouflage, color change, and mimicking the behavior of other animals. Many scientists believe that octopuses are the most intelligent marine creatures, and given the right opportunity, they might even develop a civilization.

Perhaps because this biological release was so obvious, it attracted the attention of the gods. At some point, the gods intervened in the ancient gods' plans, causing the alien octopus to fail to develop a civilization or conquer Earth. In the long process of evolution, it gradually stopped evolving its intelligence and developed into different mollusks such as cuttlefish, octopus, and squid. Only a very few individuals grew into the ancient gods' pets, such as the Kraken Zemurus.

Bai Lin crawled around under the large wooden table. The wooden table was made of some unknown material, and although it looked very thick and sturdy, it could not resist the corrosive effect of the Graco ink. Within seconds, a large piece was missing, causing one of the table legs to detach from the tabletop and fall over, and the entire tabletop tilted to one side.

Bai Lin reached out and grabbed the heavy table leg. He couldn't open the storage space, and he couldn't get the Jade Handle Dragon, so having a stick in his hand was good enough.

Gracuya tried to spray ink again, but Bai Lin quickly circled around to the other side, grabbed a table leg like a baseball bat, and smashed it towards the back of Gracuya's head.

The octopus's heart is located at the back of its head, and Bai Lin estimated that it could cause considerable damage to Gracua.

Grakua, however, did not sit idly by. Its eight tentacles opened like a large umbrella and rolled around like wheels towards Bai Lin. If Bai Lin hit one of the tentacles, it would only hurt Grakua a little, but the tentacles would grab the table leg and then wrap around its arm.

Bai Lin sneered. This simple and direct strike was just a feint. He lowered his body and the table leg changed its move instantly. Instead of clashing with the tentacles, it inserted itself into the ink-spraying mouth of Grakua from below.

Although Grakua had dozens of eyes, they were blocked by his own tentacles. Before he could react to the severe blow to his mouth, his legs were struck again, and two crisp cracking sounds of bones breaking rang out. Bai Lin had ruined both of his knees.

The enormous octopus head slammed heavily to the ground, but Bai Lin's figure appeared like a ghost behind Grakua's head.

"Xingyi Half-Step Crushing Fist!" Bai Lin's mind was focused, and his right fist was already blasted out like a cannonball, heavily slamming into the back of Grakua's head.

"Xingyi Half-Step Crushing Fist!" Bai Lin's mind was focused, and his right fist was already blasted out like a cannonball, heavily slamming into the back of Grakua's head.

Xingyiquan, one of the three major internal martial arts, evolved from spear techniques. Guo Yunshen, a Xingyiquan master in the Qing Dynasty, created the legendary story of "conquering the world with a half-step Bengquan". This half-step Bengquan perfectly embodies the accuracy, ruthlessness, and depth of spear techniques. The depth of its power exceeded Grakua's understanding. Even though he had the characteristics of a mollusk and could rely on deformation to dissipate most of the physical impact, the power of this punch still successfully struck Grakua's "heart", directly causing his heart to explode.

Bai Lin didn't stop there. He immediately followed up with a move called "Tai Chi Double Peaks Piercing Ears," striking both sides of Grakua's big head. Of course, he wasn't attacking Grakua's ears, but rather aiming at Grakua's other two "cheeks and heart" to cripple his three vital organs at the same time.

"asshole!"

Bai Lin heard Gracua roar, but it didn't seem to come from his vocal cords. He looked up and saw an octopus phantom, as big as a small car, float out of Gracua's body and fly involuntarily into the air.

Bai Lin didn't even need to think; this illusory figure was naturally Grakua's soul. He quickly chased after it. Grakua could open the entrance to the "Planet of R'lyeh," so naturally he could also leave. His soul naturally wanted to use the exit to escape.

In this strange seawater as light as air, Bai Lin swam swiftly, closely following Grakua's soul. Sure enough, in an inconspicuous area in the air, a ring-shaped passage with a faint glow appeared before him. If he didn't know its exact location, Bai Lin probably wouldn't have been able to find such an inconspicuous portal even if he searched the entire planet.

Grakua's soul was sucked into the circular passage with a whoosh, like smoke being drawn away by a range hood. Bai Lin gritted his teeth and followed suit before the passage disappeared.
