Hogwarts Summoning Guide

Chapter 417 Aerial Showdown

This diplomatic plane was equipped with a very advanced monitoring system for its time. Through the equipment in the cabin, the crew and diplomats could hear Bai Lin's conversation with the other party clearly.

Emerging from the dense clouds, countless black dots appeared, revealing at least a hundred wizards dressed in distinctive black and red uniforms. Bai Lin's eyesight was superhuman; even from nearly a kilometer away, he could clearly see their clothing and faces.

Bai Lin had to admire America's ability to recruit talent. These wizards were all incredibly powerful, and they came from various ethnic backgrounds, including some of them of Eastern descent. They were even leading the charge, perhaps intentionally trying to annoy Bai Lin.

An old wizard of Eastern descent slowly rode up on a broomstick and stopped a few hundred meters in front of Bai Lin. Although he looked weak and listless, his words were still clearly heard by Bai Lin.

"Do you think you can leave America's sacred territory so easily?" the old wizard said in perfect New York accent.

Bai Lin rolled his eyes, but he still replied in a very official manner: "We are a diplomatic plane from the East. Your actions have seriously violated the dual international laws of wizards and Muggles. I advise you to step back immediately and dispel the barrier, otherwise you will be condemned by the whole world!" These words were, of course, meant for the diplomats on the plane.

The old wizard suddenly burst into laughter: "International law? What international law does America need to abide by? We are the law!"

He stopped smiling, his face turning grim and menacing, and said, word by word, "Once we eliminate you all, who will dare to say that we did it?" As he spoke, the wizards in red and black uniforms surrounded the entire private jet, each pulling out a specially made wand that was at least half a meter long, while others took out strange gem crystal balls, which should be another kind of magic focusing equipment.

Bai Lin appeared somewhat nervous, as if he were deeply terrified of being surrounded, but he still stubbornly continued to ask, "I'm here to help America! If it weren't for me, you would have been further infiltrated by the Hastur Church, and the entire country would have been threatened!"

The old wizard looked at him as if he were an idiot and said, "You think you can contend with the supreme god? You are nothing but ants, not even worthy to carry our god's shoes! Only death can prove your worth!"

Bai Lin sighed slightly. These wizards of various ethnicities, faced with America's various temptations, chose to betray their homeland and join America's embrace. Now that they have encountered an even more powerful ancient god civilization, they are indeed the first to betray Earth and wag their tails and beg for mercy from the ancient gods.

He could tell that these wizards were not parasitized by the Yellow Seal. Perhaps they didn't need to be parasitized at all. They would be loyal to their new master and eager to help him achieve great things. They would also be eager to sell the Earth cleanly as soon as possible. They even had the absurd idea that if they were slow, the Earth would be sold by someone else and they wouldn't have a chance to sell it.

The diplomatic team in the cabin heard the old wizard's words clearly. They were all ashen-faced, knowing that today was a life-or-death situation. The other side would not let them go, and there were more than a hundred wizards on the other side, and there were probably some hiding in the clouds in the distance. On their side, they thought that the diplomatic plane could travel without hindrance. Not only did they not have fighter escorts, but they also did not request the Supreme Council to send an executive team to protect them along the way. Their only fighting force was the young supervisor standing on the top of the plane. For the diplomats, it was a certain death situation.

How could an Eastern wizard possibly defeat an American battle wizard? This was back in 1994, and this was a deeply ingrained idea in the minds of ordinary people. It was like believing that Eastern industrial products were not as advanced as those of America, that Eastern food was not as safe as that of America, and that even the air in the East was not as sweet as that of America. Many people thought that Easterners were inferior to Americaners.

However, Bai Lin only wanted the other party to say the harsh words himself, so that he wouldn't be condemned by the Eastern faction when he went on a killing spree later.

Faced with the old wizard's threat and hundreds of specially made magic wands aimed at him and the private jet, Bai Lin could only sneer. However, this time he did not activate the power of chaos, so as not to be captured by the monitoring equipment on the plane and cause unnecessary trouble. Professor Trelawney's three prophecies from two years ago were still vivid in his mind. Bai Lin did not want to become the third evil king she described and be smeared and targeted.

The feeling of using the power of order for the first time was refreshing for Bai Lin. The golden light did not come from his body, but was similar to the Taoist "drawing the power of heaven and earth". He gently stretched out two fingers and pointed to the sky. A golden light shot out from nowhere and instantly enveloped him.

"Ha, let Sifgar help Brother Bai Lin today!" Sifgar's lisp rang in Bai Lin's ears. Sifgar was at least ten thousand years old, and calling him "brother" always made him feel a little uncomfortable. However, since she called Catherine "sister," it didn't seem inappropriate for her to call Bai Lin "brother"...

Sifgar's figure was completely invisible to ordinary mortals, so there was no need to worry about being seen by the wizards in the sky. However, this golden light seemed to be the old wizard's order to attack. He roared and his wand was engulfed in flames. Then, a bright red pillar of fire shot out from his wand. The power was so great that it scared the people in the plane half to death.

They weren't unfamiliar with wizards casting spells; ordinary black magic didn't have such exaggerated effects, mostly just a ray or a fireball. Although there were wide-range black spells like Fiendfyre, those required a large supply of flammable material as fuel, and would naturally extinguish once the fuel ran out. But the fire magic unleashed by the old wizard opposite them was clearly pure fire elemental magic. They wondered how he had condensed so much magic power, and just by looking at it, its power was several levels higher than that of ordinary black wizards. Moreover, there were so many enemies dressed similarly around them. It was no exaggeration to say that this group would be an extremely powerful fighting force wherever they went on Earth, enough to overthrow the regimes of some small countries.

Following the old wizard's attack, twenty or thirty other wizards immediately followed suit, waving their wands. The vast majority unleashed fire magic, some emitting black death energy, similar to Bai Lin's "Death Coil." It wasn't that the other wizards were holding back, but rather it was a matter of basic siege warfare tactics, and also reflected the combat wizards' underestimation of Bai Lin. After all, why mobilize so many people to deal with a Muggle plane and an Eastern mage? They were all inwardly grumbling about why their superiors were making such a fuss!
