Hogwarts Summoning Guide

Izanami and Izanagi are the origin of the Japanese mythology system. The two gods are both brother and sister and husband and wife. After their union, they gave birth to many islands in Japan and thirty-three gods of Japan (but not including the three main gods who became the Three Noble Children: Amaterasu, Susanoo, and Tsukuyomi).

When Izanami gave birth to the fire god Kagutsuchi, she was burned and died tragically. Izanagi was furious and personally killed his son Kagutsuchi.

In order to bring back the deceased Izanami, Izanagi chased her to the Land of the Dead. Izanami greeted him in the Great Hall of the Dead (legend says that Izanagi was blind at this time and did not see Izanami's appearance clearly). Izanami was very happy that her husband had come to pick her up, so she let Izanagi take her hand and embark on the journey back to the world of the living, only telling her husband not to look back at her.

Like all neutral flags in the story, the more Izanagi was told not to look back, the more curiously he turned around and was immediately terrified by Izanami's appearance. He shook off his wife's hand and ran away.

In her excitement, Izanami dispatched the Yomi Oni, the Eight Thunder Gods, and 1,500 Yomi Soldiers to pursue Izanagi. Izanagi drew his Totsuka-no-Tsurugi and fought his way through the Yomi Soldiers, escaping the Land of the Dead. Not forgetting to turn back and use his magic weapon, the Thousand-Pulse Stone, to seal the gates of the Land of the Dead, preventing Izanami from escaping.

The plot twist is incredible. The loving couple suddenly became mortal enemies. Izanami vowed to kill a thousand people every day, while Izanagi vowed to give birth to fifteen hundred people every day. What did mortals do to deserve this? They just became part of the gods' numbers game.

When Bai Lin first read this story, he was indignant and condemned Izanagi's treacherous and heartless behavior from a moral high ground. But today, seeing Izanami's miserable state with his own eyes, he felt extremely nauseous and actually understood why Izanagi was so frightened. He not only ran away but also remembered to turn back and lock the door.

"Ah..." A faint sob came from the Gate of the Underworld. Endless sorrow flooded the entire harem. Bai Lin also felt grief welling up in his heart. All the happy memories he had had vanished in an instant, and the guardian spirits that had been sustained by his happy emotions also disappeared.

It's easy to imagine how much resentment and hatred Izanami felt, having been killed by her own son and betrayed and abandoned by her husband, destined to remain forever in the dark and hopeless land of the dead. Her grief was so intense that it was almost tangible. Even though her physical body hadn't yet managed to emerge from the cracks of the gates of the underworld, this grief alone was enough to overwhelm everything. Bai Lin's small, ordinary happiness was like a small boat in a tsunami, utterly insignificant in the face of this grief.

Without the protection of the spirits, Bai Lin quickly activated his willpower barrier in the face of the oncoming ghosts and monsters. Fortunately, the willpower barrier was similar to an AT field. No matter what was coming at him, as long as Bai Lin's consciousness recognized it as "not me," he could repel it with his strong willpower. Dealing with these incorporeal ghosts was no problem for him. However, the ghosts seemed to have a special impact force, which knocked Bai Lin away.

Bai Lin seemed to have become a little dwarf hiding in a rum barrel.

The object was sent spinning several times in the air after being hit. He had never encountered such a situation before. The barrier of will was invincible; no attack could touch it in the slightest. Yet, he was sent flying. Bai Lin was completely baffled, but he quickly figured it out. These ghosts were the will of Izanami. In the clash of the two wills, Bai Lin was naturally no match.

"How dare a mere mortal interfere with King Yama's important affairs!" Yama, the old woman in front of the Yellow Springs Gate, sneered.

"This is... Yama." Bai Lin looked at the disgusting mountain of rotting flesh, his lips twitching. However, Izanami is known as the Goddess of the Underworld in legends, so perhaps she really is Yama in the Japanese mythology system.

As Bai Lin watched the slowly opening Gate of the Underworld, he felt a wave of powerlessness. The curiosity and excitement he had felt just moments before at being able to see a living "god" vanished completely. All his moves were instantly reduced to dust in the face of an opponent of this level.

"Holy crap, unless Izanagi comes in person, or at least the Three Nobles come, only they can stop her..." Bai Lin muttered as he retreated, dodging the swarming ghosts and monsters.

Suddenly, he remembered the legend of the Three Noble Children. The Three Noble Children weren't gods born from Izanami and Izanagi together, but rather deities born from Izanagi's return from the Land of the Dead. Upon arriving at Apokihara, Izanagi cleansed his body to remove the impurities of the Underworld. While washing his left eye, Amaterasu was born; while washing his right eye, Tsukuyomi was born; and while washing his nose, Susanoo was born. Although Bai Lin felt there was something wrong with this legend—that the Three Noble Children should be the impurities of the Land of the Dead that Izanagi washed away—in fact, the legend says the Three Noble Children represent Izanagi's eyes and nose.

"Damn it, I finally know what that damn Eye of the Night is for!" A sudden flash of insight struck Bai Lin, as if he'd suddenly understood many things. He did a somersault and flew away without looking back. Since Izanami had appeared, Izanagi must also exist. Therefore, all he could do was make sure Izanagi knew what was happening here and rushed over to settle things with his sister-in-law.

On the other side, Tamamo-no-Mae, possessing her Dharma form, was completely unfazed by the onslaught. Meanwhile, Hakuzosu, who had led a massive horde of shikigami, discovered that his main attackers and powerful support, Kuro-Doji, stood motionless on the palace wall, refusing to obey his commands. It was only thanks to the magic of Umi-zatou and Ao-lian that most of the fox demon's fire attack was blocked; otherwise, Hakuzosu's side would have already suffered casualties.

Soon after, Minamoto no Yorimitsu and Minamoto no Hiromasa arrived with a large number of samurai. However, upon seeing the enormous fox demon form, most of the samurai were terrified. A few reckless individuals who tried to make a name for themselves were instantly roasted to a crisp.

Just as Hakuzosu was sneaking around to the fox demon's back and launch a sneak attack on Tamamo-no-Mae's body, the eyes of the Black and White Boys suddenly shone with an unusual light. The Black Boy flashed and rushed behind Hakuzosu, unleashing a sharp sword aura towards the back of his head with his long sword.

Hakuzosu was, after all, a master swordsman with extremely keen senses. He immediately abandoned his original action, rolled sideways in a disheveled manner, and narrowly dodged Kurodoji's fatal blow. Before he could even be surprised or curse, Kurodoji's sword energy poured down on him like a storm, even more forcefully than when he had been dealing with demons these past few days.
