Special Mission: The complete annihilation of Yamata no Orochi has begun. The remnants of an ancient god, slain by the gods, yearn for freedom and continue to serve their master in the distant cosmos.

The Remains of Cthulhu: During the Great War between the Great Old One Cthulhu and the gods, some of his remaining limbs fell from the clouds and transformed into Xiangliu, an ancient and malevolent god of the East. Xiangliu fought alongside Gonggong against Zhurong. After Gonggong's death, Xiangliu continued to wreak havoc, attempting to unleash another world-destroying flood. Yu the Great, accompanied by Yinglong, subdued Xiangliu and finally beheaded its leader. Deprived of its leader, Xiangliu fled into the deep sea and escaped to Japan, becoming the Yamata no Orochi, the king of demons in Japan.

The host has not completed the epic quest: Cthulhu's Pet. Some reward mechanisms have been merged.

Defeating Zem'ius will bring you the blessings of the gods and endless glory.

Defeating Gracua will grant you the Sun God's Treasure, and will increase your world development to 10 (unavailable in historical fragments).

Defeating Orochi will grant you the "Chaos Furnace".

The summoning encyclopedia suddenly displayed a long message, roughly explaining the origin of Yamata no Orochi. Although it is a remnant of Cthulhu, it seems to be an independent entity. Unlike Zemurus, which hovers on the seabed trying to release Cthulhu, it wants to establish its own territory and declare itself king.

Bai Lin looked at the enormous figure that almost blotted out the sky. Just as Minamoto no Hiromasa had said, it seemed that the entire valley area was located on the body of the Yamata no Orochi. This showed how huge this ancient ferocious god was. If it were in a movie, it would probably be even bigger than Godzilla. How could human beings destroy it? Bai Lin's sword energy probably couldn't even cut through its two or three-meter-long scales.

"He's being fused with Yamata no Orochi!" Catherine exclaimed. "Yamata no Orochi seems to be trying to absorb the Yaksha's bloodline to molt!"

Bai Lin was startled. Of course snakes shed their skin; it's a perfectly normal phenomenon. Each time they shed their skin, they grow even larger. The current Yamata no Orochi is already the size of a mountain range; it's hard to imagine how much it will grow after shedding its skin. The bloodlines of these demons and monsters seem to have endless uses. The Yaksha isn't very strong, but it seems perfect as a medicinal elixir for the Yamata no Orochi.

"We must kill it in the first phase!" Bai Lin roared, speaking not only to Catherine but also to his comrades below.

"Cut off its tail!" Minamoto no Hiromasa shouted at Hakurin. His voice was almost drowned out by the wind, rain, and thunder, but Hakurin still heard him clearly. Minamoto no Hiromasa was clearly startled. Since Susanoo had subdued the giant serpent by cutting off its tail, the tail must be its weakness.

However, Bai Lin looked down at the broken and turbid earth, where the floodwaters were raging. He could only see the neck of the giant snake towering high in front of him, and he could not tell where its tail was.

Bai Lin was hesitating whether he should dive into the mudslide below. This was not clear seawater, but a mudslide that could easily topple even ancient trees. He was not confident that he could protect himself in it.

Since speaking in the wind and rain was no longer effective, she shielded her forehead with her hand and pointed towards Yanyanluo, indicating that she wanted to help. Bai Linchong nodded to her, signaling Xue Nu to go with her and make sure to protect Ashiya Dōman.

The shockwave had thrown the battle into chaos. The Demon Brothers scattered and fled, and the crazed defensive Demon General was nowhere to be found, having been swept away by the flood. The other four were either far away or hiding somewhere, preparing to deliver a fatal blow. But none of this was something that those present should care about.

Song Quan was shrouded in a layer of black mist, staring intently at the giant serpent's body, seemingly pondering a countermeasure, while Qingming had already taken out the Yasakani no Magatama, seemingly activating some forbidden spell.

In an instant, Kurodoji arrived, charging towards the Yaksha, whose lower body had merged with the giant snake head while whose upper body was still struggling violently. His long sword slashed through the air, and he roared in a childlike yet fierce voice, "Yaksha! Yama has ordered you to be apprehended on the spot!"

The Black and White Boys are soul-capturing messengers of the underworld. They were dispatched by Yama to accompany Qingming on the mission of capturing the Demon King, and thus took the lead.

However, Yasha was in agony at the moment. He had wanted to absorb the power of the giant serpent to rise to prominence and achieve great success, but reality gave him a huge shock. The giant serpent was far more powerful than he had imagined, and instead, he was about to be devoured by it.

Kurodoji had already unleashed his sword energy. He knew that Orochi had just awakened and his attention was not yet on them. To kill Yaksha, he had to finish the battle quickly. So he increased his speed even more, and his sword energy was instantly in front of Yaksha.

However, the giant snake head was not just for show. Moreover, Kurodoji was shouting, and another snake head, as big as a villa, turned around. The snake head where Yaksha was located swung, and a powerful sword aura, enough to flatten a city wall, slashed hard into one of the snake's necks, leaving a scratch on the dark scales, like a mark left by a twig on a newly painted car door. Although visible, it did almost no harm to the snake.

"Roar!" The giant snake head roared like thunder at Kurodoji, and thick, dark green smoke spewed out from its maw, pouring down on Kurodoji's head.
