The large iron cabinet was struck by the fairy mage's magic and shattered into pieces. Bai Lin unleashed dozens of Shadow Arrows simultaneously, truly covering the area like raindrops. However, the fairy mages remained blank-faced and did not cast any protective spells. Instead, they mechanically continued casting spells on Bai Lin.

Many dark wizards know the Fiendfyre spell, including Crabbe (one of Malfoy's henchmen), who is generally considered to be not very intelligent. However, controlling Fiendfyre requires master-level magical control. Otherwise, like Crabbe in the original story, he released Fiendfyre but failed to burn Harry to death. Instead, he destroyed the Horcrux and burned himself to death.

Powerful dark wizards, such as Voldemort, can use Fiendfire to mimic others, becoming fiery beasts completely under their control, burning away all their targets.

The African sorcerer's Fiendfire starts as a small flame, but spreads extremely quickly, covering everything that can be ignited.

Bai Lin was extremely grateful to the twins. They had just used the Fiery Spell to burn most of the sharp grass on the field. The African wizard's Fiery Spell had not yet taken shape, but if left unchecked, it would still become a disaster.

Bai Lin's mind raced. He seemed to recall a counter-curse to the Fiendfyre, but couldn't remember where he'd seen it. In the original Harry Potter books, the Fiendfyre only appeared in the last one, burning down the entire Room of Requirement, and the three Harrys could only flee in panic, unable to put out the fire.

"Hopefully the barrier can withstand the fierce fire..." Bai Lin thought to himself, moving quickly to find an opportunity to attack.

After unleashing the Fiery Blaze, the African wizard teleported to the control panel next to the challenge platform. The fairies who were supposed to be operating the mechanisms there had already fled. The African wizard then opened the remaining two iron cages and shut down the barrier protecting the challenge platform.

Bai Lin, who was fighting the fairy wizards, found that the Shadow Arrow Rain was not very effective. The fairies who were hit seemed to feel no pain at all, and got up to continue to chase and intercept him.

"He's knocked out!" Bai Lin swiftly approached one of the fairies and successfully stunned him. It seemed the Stunning Spell was effective. The Stunning Spell had a limited range and required considerable concentration to lock onto the target. However, each one eliminated was one less to deal with. Despite being hit by two evil spells, Bai Lin finally dealt with all five fairy mages.

Bai Lin's protective spell, combined with the magic resistance of his equipment, negated most of the evil curse's effects, but it still made Bai Lin feel as if he had been punched hard in the chest twice by a boxer, and his ribs and internal organs were probably injured.

Just as he was about to teleport to the African wizard and give him a set to take away, two other huge iron cages rose from the ground and opened their gates.

A giant figure burst out of the large cage. It was over four meters tall, much taller than Hagrid. Its body was very bulky, but all muscle. Long bone spurs protruded from its joints and chest, and a single eye the size of a bowl was on its forehead.

This monster was none other than Aug, a hybrid of giant and troll. At this moment, its enormous single eye was also flashing with a deep purple light.

Aug roared like thunder, his voice almost drowning out all the screams and explosions in the arena. His single eye locked onto Bai Lin, and he opened his massive maw, covered in fangs, and charged toward Bai Lin.

If he were caught by such a huge monster, how could he possibly survive? As Bai Lin retreated, he unleashed a barrage of Shadow Arrows with increased power at Aug.

One after another, jet-black energy arrows struck Aug's massive body, leaving only faint black marks on his skin without even piercing it.

"Damn, that's over 80 magic resistance!" Bai Lin recalled the introduction of Aug in the newspaper, who possessed extremely strong magic resistance.

Bai Lin gritted his teeth, put the wand back in his pocket, and with Fiendfire behind him, he had nowhere to retreat. He could only draw the Jade-Handled Dragon and meet Aug's giant hand with a sword.

The fiery flames have already begun to solidify into the shape of a monster. If Bai Lin escapes, not only will the arena be lost, but the entire zoo will probably become the playground of the Hastur Church's octopus monster tonight.

Undeterred by Bai Lin's sword, Aug slammed his palm down on Bai Lin's head. Bai Lin stabbed Bai Lin's palm with his sword, but it only penetrated a dozen centimeters before being blocked by Bai Lin's dense muscles and hand bones. This was only because it was inlaid with the Divine Edge Secret Rune; if it were an ordinary weapon, it would probably be difficult to even break the skin.

Fearing the sword would break, Bai Lin could only flip over and barely manage to pull it out. He slipped under Aug's armpit, flashed to his side, and with a flick of his left hand, slammed the newly formed Death Coil Skull into Aug's side abdomen.

Although Aug was strong and had a strong defense, its hundreds of kilograms made it less agile than Bai Lin. In fact, its weight made it unable to stop its charge and it almost crashed into the flames.

Bai Lin suddenly realized that the Thunder Bird was a close relative of the Phoenix. The Phoenix had the ability to resist all black magic and mind magic, and the Thunder Bird was probably no less capable.
