Although most wizards do not believe in the gods worshipped in Muggle society, Aurors, who need to travel around to solve cases, do have some understanding of the culture of the Muggle world.

To Elijah's surprise, the priest's or bishop's attire was neither that of the prevalent Catholicism in Europe, nor that of Islam, the main religion of the Egyptians, but rather that of a sect he had never seen before. Upon seeing this bishop, Elijah seemed to hear a voice whispering in his ear:

Elijah was stunned. The whispers seemed to possess boundless magic, carrying his soul to the highest heavens.

He was no longer a worker in the Auror office of the Ministry of Magic, no longer the head of a family of five, no longer a wizard, and no longer even a human.

He became a higher being, transcending all living beings on Earth. He felt his soul was elevated, and he almost thought he had become a god.

Then he plunged into the cosmos, where countless stars seemed within reach, and he could go anywhere he wanted, at will.

Finally, he met the Yellow-Clad Lord.

In the ruins of the ancient city of Karkssa, the tranquil sacred lake ripples, and the enormous figure of its master rises from the water.

Elijah felt the call from his master. If he accepted the yellow seal, he would become his master's servant and a god who would rule over countless worlds.

"Then, what is the price?" asked the last remaining vestiges of consciousness within Elia's soul.

"Some useless... insignificant... reason..." the master murmured.

"Then, I..." Elijah said.

Just as he was about to agree, a glass of ice-cold liquid was suddenly poured on the back of his head, and then Bai Lin knocked him to the ground.

Bai Lin saw the person outside wearing yellow clothes through the crack, and Elijah froze for a moment. Although it was only for less than two seconds, Bai Lin realized what was happening and, without saying a word, snatched the iced soda water that Phineas had brought from Zhuo Bi's hand and splashed it on the back of Elijah's head. He then rushed forward and tackled him to the ground.

Elijah's soul instantly returned to reality from the highest heavens, jolted by the icy water, the experience still terrifying him.

Before Bai Lin could even get up, the cell door opened with a crisp sound, and the bishop in the yellow robe walked in with a grin. He was a typical white man, tall, fat, with thick body hair and sparse hair. His smile was very stiff, like a statue in a wax museum.

"What are you resisting? The Master is bestowing grace upon you!" the yellow-robed bishop said kindly.

At this moment, Bai Lin also heard a faint whisper. The summoning encyclopedia emitted a warm light, which seemed to isolate the seductive voice and made Bai Lin's mind unusually clear.

A line of text appears on the summoning encyclopedia: "Discovered a common member of the Hastur Order—Faceless Preacher, Threat Level: ? ? (Fighting members of the Hastur Order will help the system assess their abilities)"

The others in the room, the Aurors and the Dracos, seemed to be captivated by the words of the yellow-robed bishop, frozen in place as if under some kind of bewitching spell. A single-target Imperishable Curse was already terrifying enough, but his casual remark was practically a group Imperishable Curse, far more powerful than the Imperishable Curse itself.

Bai Lin rolled on the spot and kicked Zhuo Bi, who was closest to him, to the ground. He really didn't know how to interrupt the yellow-robed bishop's spellcasting, so he could only use this simple and brutal method. When Zhuo Bi fell, he stepped forward and chopped Zhuo Bi on the back of the neck with his hand, and Zhuo Bi immediately passed out.

But the other Aurors weren't so lucky. They stared blankly at the yellow-robed bishop, their mouths agape as if waiting to be fed.

Bai Lin learned from Qi Qi's dream description that their minds had been controlled and were waiting for the Yellow-Robed Bishop to feed them the octopus monster's eggs, which would then parasitize their brains.

"Stop right there!" Elijah roared, scrambling to his feet. He charged forward and delivered a powerful punch to the yellow-robed bishop. As an Auror, Elijah was clearly skilled in martial arts, including boxing, in addition to magical combat. Now imprisoned and with his wand confiscated, he was left with no choice but to fight with his fists. (Most wizards cannot cast spells without a wand, as their magical power is difficult to control effectively.)

His punch was incredibly powerful, completely disfiguring the yellow-robed bishop's face. And it wasn't just a matter of being disfiguring; his entire face was deformed, with his eyes, nose, and mouth squeezed together and sunken into his face, like a silicone mask that had been flattened by a punch.

"Hahaha, so you like to be completely honest..." The yellow-robed bishop's mouth, clenched shut, moved eerily. Then, what happened next startled even Elia, who had seen many dark creatures. The yellow-robed bishop's face cracked like parched earth, and purplish-red tentacles emerged from the fissures. In the blink of an eye, the fat man's face vanished, and the yellow-robed bishop's head transformed into an octopus-like creature, devoid of ears, nose, and mouth, leaving only a pair of human-like eyes, but flashing with an evil gaze completely different from any human's.

"Hahaha, so you like to be completely honest..." The yellow-robed bishop's mouth, clenched shut, moved eerily. Then, what happened next startled even Elia, who had seen many dark creatures. "I am your guide, your shepherd, the guiding light on your path!" The octopus-faced, faceless preacher uttered a strange, hoarse, and bizarre voice, not like a human voice, but rather as if it were pieced together word by word from the original man's voice.

Elijah ignored what he said and threw another punch at the faceless preacher's eyes. However, his swift punch was blocked by the faceless preacher's tentacles, and several long tentacles wrapped around Elijah's hands and legs, lifting him up like a cross.

"Since you are so impulsive, perhaps you are not worthy to be your master's servant. I will grant you the right to become a lamb, and let me devour your heart and brain... Hahahaha..." said the yellow-robed bishop.

"Snow Wind! Now!" Bai Lin roared, summoning Snow Wind from the encyclopedia. Although he didn't have a wand, it didn't affect his summoning spell. Snow Wind roared and charged out. The injuries it sustained in the battle with the Sphinx had been fully healed in the encyclopedia. It bravely pounced on the octopus-faced bishop.

Although two more long, python-like tentacles extended from the back of the octopus-faced bishop's head, Xuefeng's pounce still managed to knock him down, and Elia was saved once again. He rolled on the ground, feeling quite frustrated since he hadn't been able to use his abilities inside the pyramid and now that his wand was out of his hand. But there was nothing he could do; the battle before him was beyond his capabilities. He could only rush to the Aurors who were being controlled and try to shake them awake.
