"Lord Anno, it seems I'm not too late!"

Anno looked at Yekis's smile with surprise in his eyes.

If Yekis hadn't sent a telepathic message to Anno beforehand, saying he would be there soon and asking him to delay for a little longer, Anno would have been prepared to use the laws of space to try and escape.

"I never imagined you'd actually ascend to the rank of High God!"

Anno then realized what gave Yekis the confidence to let him hold on for a while.

Yekis's successful ascension to a high god means that Ungomulos now possesses truly high-end combat power.

"There's no other way. If we don't advance to become high gods, we simply won't be able to cope with this war." Yekis's words were tinged with helplessness.
