Su Wuli raised her hand and punched his chest, but even after punching him several times, she still didn't feel relieved.

He started yelling again, "You said you finished drinking it, you lied to me!"

Yu Chen grabbed her hand that was pounding at him, but Su Wuli still struggled relentlessly.

"If you don't drink it, you'll have a headache tomorrow," Yu Chen explained gently.

Su Wuli couldn't hear any of that now; her reddened eyes were filled with the grievance of being betrayed.

She pulled her hand out of his palm and punched him again.

This time, the fist landed on his shoulder, but he didn't budge.

After pounding a few times and getting tired, Su Wuli let her hands fall down and shrank into the blanket.

Then pull the blanket over your head and wrap yourself up like a silkworm cocoon.

She mumbled under the covers, "Liar, big liar, you're the worst."

Yu Chen pulled the blanket off her head, revealing her face.

Su Wuli glared at him, then closed her eyes for a moment before turning her head away and burying her face in the pillow.

Then she turned over so her back was to him, and pulled the blanket up to cover half of her face.

Seeing this, Yu Chen lay down and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, pulling her into his embrace.

She struggled for a moment but couldn't break free, so she gave up.

"What should I do about your headache?" His lips pressed against the back of her neck, his voice deep.

She answered listlessly, "I don't know."

Yu Chen turned her face away from the pillow.

Su Wuli stubbornly closed her eyes, refusing to look at him. She parted her lips slightly, giving a slightly spoiled command, "You rub it for me."

As soon as he finished speaking, Yu Chen looked down at her.

Su Wuli closed her eyes, her eyelashes trembling slightly, and her lips pouting slightly.

He lowered his head and kissed him.

Su Wuli almost reflexively tilted her head, thinking he was going to give her another hangover soup, and pushed him away by placing her hand on his chest.

He frowned and mumbled, "No, I don't want it anymore."

Yu Chen paused for a moment, then captured her lips and kissed her gently.

Su Wuli's hand that was pushing him gradually lost its strength, and it went from pushing to resting on him.

Her fingers gently rested on his chest.

There was no hangover soup, only his lips and his breath.

Her brow relaxed, and she raised her hand from his chest to hold the back of his neck.

Her lips parted slightly, and she obediently stopped dodging and pushing away.

When his tongue probed in, she gently touched it with the tip of her tongue and then withdrew it.

It's like testing the waters and hesitating, or perhaps just not knowing what to do.

Yu Chen chased after her and entwined his tongue with hers.

Su Wuli's hand slid down from the back of his neck, rested on his shoulder, and clutched the fabric of his undergarment.

His kisses were light, slow and gentle, as if he were coaxing the person in his arms.

Her body slowly relaxed, her defenses receded, and she began to respond to him.

She clung to him clumsily, yet every move followed his rhythm.

He gently rubbed the back of her head with his large hand, and Su Wuli went limp in his arms.

Like a piece of candy melted by the sun, stuck to his body, impossible to tear off.

Yu Chen pried her fingers apart one by one, freeing them from the fabric and holding them in his hand.

After kissing for a while, he loosened his grip slightly and lowered his head.

Su Wuli's lips were red from the kiss, and she was breathing heavily with her mouth slightly open.

He reached out and rubbed it with his fingertips.

Su Wuli gave a soft hum and moved closer to him.

"Is it still bitter?" Yu Chen asked.

She shook her head and didn't say anything.

Yu Chen reached out and pulled the blanket up to cover her shoulders, and she instinctively shrank into the blanket.

Her face was pressed against his neck, and her lips against his skin.

"Want some more?"

She nodded, then immediately shook her head.

Upon seeing this, Yu Chen smiled.

Su Wuli opened her mouth and murmured something.

"What?" Yu Chen pressed.

She buried her face in his chest and said in a muffled voice, "I'm not drinking anymore."

It quieted down.

Yu Chen looked down at her face; her hair was still damp and spread out on the pillow.

He then gently put her down from his arms and laid her on her side.

Su Wuli twitched her brows and frowned, her hand groping in the air twice but unable to touch him.

His brows furrowed even more.

Seeing this, Yu Chen reached out and took her hand.

Her brows relaxed and she fell into a deep sleep again.

After a moment, Yu Chen got up from the bedside, walked to the shelf, and picked up a dry cotton handkerchief.

He then walked back to the edge of the couch and sat down, gently moving Su Wuli's head onto his lap so that she could rest her head on his knees.

Because she had moved, Su Wuli subconsciously shifted her position.

She rubbed her face against his knee, finding a comfortable position.

Yu Chen then gathered her hair from the pillow; the damp hair felt cool as it clung to his fingers.

Then wrap the ends of your hair with a handkerchief and gently pinch them, absorbing the water droplets into the cotton cloth.

The handkerchief slowly became damp.

The handkerchief was soaked, so he switched to a dry corner and continued wiping.

Yu Chen swept Su Wuli's hair to one side, revealing the skin on the back of her neck.

She had a small mole on the back of her neck that Yu Chen had never noticed before.

He unconsciously rubbed his fingertip against the mole.

Su Wuli moved her head slightly, and he quickly withdrew his hand, placed the handkerchief over the back of her neck, and gently pressed it.

She raised her hand and touched the air twice, then naturally pulled his wrist over and placed it under her face.

His wrist was pressed against her cheek, and her breath came out through her nose, warming his skin against the inside of his wrist.

Helpless, Yu Chen had no choice but to switch the handkerchief to his left hand and continue wiping her hair with his left hand.

He wiped his hair very slowly, from the roots to the ends and then to the tips.

Her hair was half-dry, with only a few damp strands clinging to her neck.

Yu Chen used his hand to brush aside those few strands of hair, exposing the back of her neck to let it breathe.

Su Wuli was fast asleep. She moved her face against his lap, rubbing it against the fabric of his knee, and murmured indistinctly.

Yu Chen leaned down, wanting to hear what he had to say, but she stopped talking.

A moment later, the hair dried.

He ran his hand from the top of her head to the ends of her hair, his fingers running through her strands.

Then he draped the handkerchief over the shelf and gently moved her head from his lap back onto the pillow.

She frowned slightly, and her hand unconsciously reached out and touched it twice.

Touching him, I felt a wave of relief wash over me as I realized he was still beside me.

As soon as Yu Chen lay down, Su Wuli snuggled into his arms, her face pressed against his chest with a satisfied expression.

He wrapped his long arm around her waist and pulled her closer to him.

Her breath brushed against his neck, light and slow.

Yu Chen reached out and extinguished the candle.

…………

When Su Wuli opened her eyes, it was already broad daylight outside.

He squinted and turned his head; the seat next to him was empty.

She lay there for a while, her mind feeling heavy and stuffy, as if someone had stuffed a wad of wet cotton into it.

My temples are throbbing, like someone is drumming inside them.

She slowly sat up, revealing her clean undergarments.

The ribbon was tied into a bow.

Su Wuli stared blankly for a moment, then her face slowly turned red.

She couldn't remember how she changed into this undergarment last night, nor could she remember how she got back from the hot spring.

All I remember is that the fog was very thick, and the light from the stone lanterns looked like two floating lamps in the fog.

She raised her hand and gripped the collar of her inner garment, fragmented images flashing through her mind.

His hand in the hot spring, and the sake that was poured over him...

She leaned on his shoulder and called his name over and over again.

She also kept saying she liked him.
