A person in American horror, wearing two versions of The Witcher

Chapter 37 Move aside, I'm about to show off!

The recap of the events was pieced together from multiple perspectives.

When Roy and Geralt's group arrived at Charwood Village, the first person to greet them at the village entrance was the fisherman. That night, the first person to appear outside Roy's window was also the fisherman. He may have considered making a move, but ultimately did not.

Then came Harker's re-exploration and cylinder replacement.

Later, when searching for information, the fisherman mastered the art of only telling part of the truth, without uttering a single lie, yet only allowing Roy and his companions to uncover the truth the fisherman wanted to tell them.

Later, the fisherman delivered a fish to the widow's house at moonrise, luring her to arrive later, and then secretly provoked her in the dark, driving her mad and causing her to leave. He was even the first to stuff wolf dung under Hack's quiver...

The wolf king fisherman did so much, but there was one thing he never did: he didn't touch the child.

Niren of the Harker family never moved, nor did Margaret of the Widow family, who had run away tonight!

And little Margaret is currently among the wolves. However, the wolf king has provided a solution…

Moonlit night

At this moment, the moon is at its zenith, at its largest and brightest.

Just then, a giant wolf leaped out of the cave carrying a still-bleeding black shadow in its mouth.

The silver-gray giant wolf leaped onto a nearby hill.

"Awoo~"

A deafening howl, powerful enough to intimidate the wolves, summoned them together in a commanding manner.

Once the pack of wolves had gathered, the bleeding shadow let out a final, soft wolf howl.

Then, its howling stopped abruptly, because the giant wolf's jaws had completely crushed its throat.

"Awoo~"

Once again, a mighty roar resounded, and this time the will contained only one thing—to submit!

The pack of nearly twenty wolves erupted into chaos.

Just then, an old she-wolf led her pack out of the crowd.

The large group here was originally made up of several smaller groups in the nearby forest area. They had a common king when the moon was full, and smaller kings when the moon was not full.

The old mother wolf, the husky wolf, the wolf sister, and the wolf sister are here tonight to pay homage.

However, the transformation of the Cofi caused some delay. When they arrived again, it was the Cofi that had smelled the scent in the cave and resolutely leaped inside.

Because of Coffin's actions, the four wolves were also implicated. They had been attacked by the wolf pack, and their fur was now disheveled, with some parts stained with wolf blood.

But that's not important anymore. What's important is:

The old she-wolf was the first to reach the foot of the hill.

It stood beneath the giant wolf, Kofi, its head slightly lowered, howling towards the sky:

"Awoo~"

That is—a respectful welcome to our King!

Then, the husky wolf: "Awoo~"

Wolf Sister and Wolf Girl: "Awooo~"

At this critical moment, a large, mottled wolf with bared teeth jumped out, knocked over the female wolf, and tried to bite the husky wolf.

But then, the giant wolf, Coffey, leaped down from the hill.

So fast was it that in the blink of an eye, with its unparalleled size, it crushed the mottled wolf like a mountain, pressing it into the ground.

With that huge mouth:

"Snap!"

The wolf's head was immediately bitten off by those who refused to obey!

When it leaped back onto the hill, the dazed wolf head and the still-wet bloodstains became the crown that crowned it.

"Awoo~"

It let out another long howl at the moon.

"Awoo~"

"Awoo~"

……

A chorus of wolf howls, echoing each other, then joined in once more.

And the will to be expressed is reduced to only one thing—

Welcome!

I! King!!

Welcome!

Wolf King Cocker Spade!!

When the new King Coughfe passed through the wolf pack and drove little Margaret, who was surrounded but not attacking, to the entrance of the dungeon, allowing her to see the witchers inside and Lyra and the others,

A fleeting look of terror crossed little Margaret's face, leaving only a longing gaze fixed on the giant wolf outside.

That night, she crawled out of the dog hole and secretly followed her mother, wanting to protect her and prove her worth. However, she was first marked and protected by the Fisherman Wolf King, and then rescued from the wolf pack by the Coffin Wolf King...

A not-so-healthy seed was quietly planted in her heart, seemingly foreshadowing the path that would follow after it sprouted...

……

"Aren't you worried that once Coffin becomes the wolf king, he won't follow you anymore?" Geralt teased Roy as he watched the new wolf king interact with the pack in the cave.

"It's too late!"

Roy replied with a completely unrelated remark.

This was simply because a countdown timer had appeared in the upper right corner of his control panel after Cocker Spam's return, and the panel message read:

Please call upon the destined ship again within 24 hours. (Failure to do so will result in consequences.)

Then Roy looked at the pools of fresh blood in the cavern—the wolf king's, the werewolf Hack's, and the widow's…

The widow was killed by the werewolf Huck.

As Roy and Geralt killed the werewolf king, the dying werewolf Huck also plunged his claws into the widow's heart, killing this wicked woman who had intended to harm Lyra...

Roy didn't feel guilty about it at all; in fact, Hack's actions gave him ample reason to behead him, thus achieving a kill.

But no matter what, all of this bloodshed is due to information asymmetry! And, he didn't truly utilize the information asymmetry he possessed to control everything.

such as--

Knowing the problems with these two families, why not tie them up first? Why not give all the villagers some wolfsbane and aconite? Why not just tie Hake up and wait for him to change his ways at night...?

He desperately wanted to participate in adventures, to experience that kind of growth and unexpected events.

But now, it's too late.

He only has 23 hours left. He doesn't have time to relax. He needs to change his mindset.

How so?

First comes bitterness, then comes sweetness; first be a grandson, then a grandfather.

He's had enough of being a grandson now:

Geralt has a total of 45 individual bond points. Coffin the Great Wolf has a total of 75 individual bond points.

After tonight's battle, Coffin's individual synergy increased from 67 to 75, and he also gained 1 point of Werewolf synergy.

That's enough, that's enough to be a master!

The first thing to consider is whether or not Coffin should stay or leave.

"Coca-Cola!"

Roy called out.

The giant wolf Cofe, outside the burrow, heard Roy's cries, but it still lingered on the wolf mother's affections and the other she-wolves' fawning over it.

"Coca-Cola!" Roy called again.

The giant wolf, Cofi, finally shook off the mother wolves and leaped down into the burrow again, looking at Roy with a slightly impatient expression.

It had just killed the fisherman wolf king, and also bit the large, mottled wolf to death, without licking the wolfsbane...

As its wild instincts took hold, red and black blood vessels appeared in its wolf eyes.

Roy then took out a cloth and wiped one of Coffin's wolf teeth clean, then pressed his little finger directly onto the sharp wolf tooth.

Blood seeped from Roy's little finger.

Kofi also subconsciously licked a mouthful of Naroy's blood.

Then, Cofi trembled violently, letting out a low growl that was both painful and pleasurable. The crimson in its wolf eyes receded like a tide, replaced by a clarity and tranquility like moonlight.

Even more amazingly, its coat color remained unchanged, but its size gradually shrank to the original size of a German Shepherd.

"Woof!" Coffin raised its paw and barked in surprise.

And then,

It stomped its foot again, raised its dog head, and slowly grew into a wolf's head, returning to its giant wolf form.

At this point, the confusion in its eyes had reached its peak.

It didn't know what had happened, but it was indeed Roy who, with just a drop of blood, had rid it of its rage and now could freely control whether it shrank or grew; moreover, its canine brain seemed to have become much clearer and more intelligent.

"Removing the berserk state, gaining complete control, and adding some wisdom—it seems this is what's called 'infusing wisdom'."

Roy sighed inwardly. The moment Kofi returned, a message appeared on his interface: [Quest completed to assist in the transformation of the werewolf Kofi and to assist in suppressing the werewolf curse].

However, the 2 points of werewolf synergy awarded are still pending and need no further explanation.

The other prize, "Spiritual Enchanting Point," hints that he should feed his own blood to Coffin...

Is it a limitation of the panel itself?

Roy didn't think much more about it. He looked directly at Kofi, whose eyes were now clearer, and said:

"You, Cofi, have been with me for two years, and I promised to help Fura. I promised to help her reattach her arms and hands!"

"Continue, arm, take, hand!"

Roy used both hand gestures and spoken words to make sure Coffin could understand.

Fura!

Cofi's wolf eyes widened instantly, and after Roy repeated it several times, it finally realized:

It turns out, Fura is not dead!

It turns out, it can return to Fura's side!

"Awoo~"

It let out a long, excited howl, and as the howl ended, it raised its front paws with utmost seriousness:

A vow! I swear!

Roy then raised his right hand and placed it against Coffin's forepaw:

"I promise to reattach Fura's limb within two years!"

"Awoo~"

(I pledge to stand by Roy's side and fight for him!)

"The oath is complete!"

"Awoo~"

(The ceremony is complete!)

Then, the man and the wolf looked at each other and smiled, both lowering their hands and claws.

"Go settle your wolf pack. You have most of the night." Roy pointed outside the cave and patted Coffin as he was led out.

And when the cocoa jumps out...

Geralt finally couldn't contain his confusion and curiosity any longer. He could become a Witcher by taking the wolf's crest, learn water magic by hunting water monsters, and even transform a giant wolf with his own blood...

"Who are you? What kind of person are you?" Geralt asked directly.

Roy glanced at him.

I also looked at the 13 werewolf synergy points waiting to be anchored on the panel (Koffee kills Fisherman Wolf King +5, beheads Hack Werewolf +5, Koffee provides synergy +1, completes Koffee's mission synergy +2).

Please anchor all bonds! Add skill points!

Roy thought to himself, and as he added a warm current to improve his condition, causing his heart to race and his aura to surge, he slowly spoke:

Every world has its own prophets, its own sages.

"And I am the world I inhabit—"

"Sage!"

As soon as he finished speaking, his aura and heartbeat reached their peak!
