Game of Thrones: From a deserter to a high-ranking official
Chapter 1 "Lightning" Tiberius, and the System
99AC, the city of Lis in the Kingdom of the Three Daughters.
"So, I've time-traveled?" Tiberian, or rather, the current Tiberius Mode, rubbed his bandaged head and shakily got out of bed.
He was originally a civil engineer, but he died of drunkenness after drinking too much at a bidding banquet.
When he woke up again, he found himself transported to the world of Game of Thrones, becoming a mercenary boy named Tiberius Mord.
As a Game of Thrones fan, he was very clear about where he stood.
This was only three years before the Great Council of 101 AC: at the council, Viserys I would assume the throne from Jaehaerys, the "Most Elder King," and would announce that the Iron Throne would henceforth be inherited by men, not by age.
After the death of Viserys I in 129 AC, the leaders of the Black Party and the Green Party, Princess Rhaenyra, the "Light of the Kingdom," and Allison Hightower, Viserys' second queen, along with their dragon riders, will unleash an extremely bloody and horrific civil war in Westeros—the Dance of the Dragons.
This civil war nearly wiped out most of House Targaryen's dragons, and after that, dragons appeared less and less, and no dragons ever roamed the continent of Westeros again.
After the Dance of the Dragons, the Targaryen monarchs became increasingly incompetent: the noble bastard, the Blackfyre Rebellion, the Mad King's coronation, the War of the Usurpers... and then the Targaryen family was completely destroyed.
However, more important to Tiberius than the civil war and the Dance of the Dragons that would erupt in Westeros thirty years later was where he was now.
Tiberius surveyed his room: linen sheets, a chair, half a loaf of black bread on the table, a few books, a wardrobe, a leather armor, and three javelins lying in the corner.
The start was better than Tiberius had imagined; at least it wasn't a poor start.
After all, in the free city-state of Essos, the difference between the poor and slaves was often very thin.
As Tiberius was reminiscing about the plot, his door was suddenly flung open.
"Tiberius, you're awake? That's wonderful! The commander was asking you how you were this morning!"
The newcomer was a lean, dark-skinned man. Although he was not tall, his eyes were bright and piercing. He leaned against the door frame and looked at Tiberius.
"It's good that you're awake. All the crossbowmen in my team have been asking you if you need to go to the Ries's Garden of Desire to relax... After all, you killed an Ironborn, so you're a real man now." He winked at Tiberius as he said this.
"Now you can participate in real men's group activities. After all, you've killed someone; you're a real mercenary. And a real mercenary isn't just good at killing... but also at making women scream!"
"However, it's good that you're awake. The commander kept coming to see you after you fell into a coma; he still cares about you quite a bit."
"[The commander... is he my uncle?]" Tiberius began to search through the original owner's memories in his mind.
"What? Tiberius, did your head get smashed by an Ironborn oar?" The man waved his hand a few times in front of Tiberius's face, his expression full of mockery. "I don't think so at all! The Reiss say a fool doesn't blink..."
"Stop, Vito!" Tiberius exclaimed, swatting Vito's hand away in exasperation. "I'm perfectly fine. I wasn't fooled by the Ironborn!"
Vito Coppola, a member of the White Legion, the mercenary group Tiberius belonged to, was in charge of the White Legion's crossbowmen.
Tiberius had previously served as a squire in his army, carrying arrows. His only two flaws were his talkativeness and lust.
Viktor withdrew his hand, but a look of seriousness, even admiration, appeared on his face.
"You're a little madman. How old are you? Twelve years old and you dared to fight the Ironborn pirates, and even pierced that fool's throat with a javelin... Seven Gods! Of course, it would have been better if you hadn't been knocked unconscious by an Ironborn oar. 'Lightning' Tiberius, ha, that's what they call you now! It means your javelin is faster than lightning, sounds good."
Vito patted Tiberius on the shoulder. "A good nickname is crucial for a mercenary. My first nickname was 'Bedwetting,' Vito, the Seven Gods..." He shook his head and laughed. "As a result, I almost got kicked out of the White Legion by the captain!"
"Let's go! Your uncle wants to see you right now. It's so good that you're alright, and the wizard who cured you will receive a hefty sum of gold..." Vito rambled on. "Fortunately, our employer is Lisandro Rogal, the biggest banker in Rhys..."
Tiberius had already lost all interest in Vito's rambling. A pale blue panel had appeared before his eyes:
Tiberius Mode:
Skills: [Spear Throwing: Mastery], [Lance: Beginner], [Oar: Proficient], [Fishing: Proficient], [Swamp Sorcery: Beginner]...
Commandable troops: 0
Title: "Lightning" (Fame: 1%)
[Panel?] Tiberius's heart skipped a beat.
Since I have a cheat code, my survival rate in the world of Game of Thrones will be greatly increased.
After all, in his timeline, Targaryen dragons still soared through the skies, witchcraft still existed in the corners of the world, and the long summer was about to end, while in the north, the harsh winter was approaching…
Thinking of that bleak, chaotic, and bloody future, Tiberius could only manage a bitter smile:
Hehe, I must survive!
However, Tiberius breathed a sigh of relief after obtaining the system.
Great, with the control panel, at least my future isn't completely bleak.
In the chaotic times to come, at least one trump card will remain in your hands.
Moreover, he had an ace up his sleeve: his familiarity with the plot.
"Hey, Tiberius, why aren't you saying anything? Aren't you curious about Rhys's Garden of Desire?" Vito looked at Tiberius, who remained silent, and deliberately tried to tease him.
"This is Rhys, after all!" Vito whispered in Tiberius's ear. "A truly vibrant and open place; Dorne is conservative compared to this!"
"Moreover, the bloodline of the ancient Valyrian Freehold still flows in the veins of the Reiss people. The girls here have platinum blonde curly hair and smooth, fair skin... slender waists, but full and powerful thighs, and hips large enough to hold a goblet!"
Tiberius certainly knew what kind of city Ries was.
In the three kingdoms of the Daughters (Telosi, Lys, and Myr), Lys is particularly known for its bed slaves and brothels.
This city specializes in breeding and producing handsome young boys and beautiful female slaves.
Vito raised an eyebrow slightly as he noticed Tiberius's lack of interest in his descriptions of women.
This kid can't be...
Vito suddenly had an idea.
Yes, this kid has been in the legion since he was six years old. He deals with men in the legion more than women.
Could it be...?
"The Seven Gods!" Vito thought to himself. "The commander is probably going to be furious!"
"Uh, well, Tiberius." Vito coughed softly, unusually choosing his tone.
"If your orientation is more...philanthropic, I still suggest you join the White Legion's team building activities when you're older. You're only twelve now, an age where you'll only be deflowered, and besides, you're quite handsome..."
