Naruto, born from the world of his parents.

Chapter 38 Farewell to the Gods

Happy times always seem to pass by too quickly.

After sparring with Sasuke, who had finished his mission, Naruto looked at the sunset and realized that he had been home for ten days.

In these ten days, many things happened in the village, such as the Tsuchikage of Iwagakure suddenly announcing his resignation as Tsuchikage to take responsibility for the years of reckless ninja.

This news caused a huge uproar as soon as it was released. No one would have thought that such a villain would be among the five movie stars who maintain world order.

In a short time, calls to eliminate Iwagakure from the Five Kage Alliance grew louder and louder, until the Fourth Hokage stepped in to support Iwagakure, which barely managed to suppress the turmoil.

This event certainly had a huge impact on the world, but it was too far removed from Naruto's life, so the emotional impact on him was not as significant as the personnel adjustments in Kakashi's team.

After resting for more than half a month, Kakashi's team regrouped, but the difference was that under Minato's arrangement, Naruto was transferred out of the team, and Karin, a member of Kushina's clan, was added to the team.

Although Naruto understood that this was out of his father's protection, he still felt a strange sense of unease about being protected away from the front lines.

Standing at his front door, watching the sun sink below the horizon, Naruto sighed and went inside.

Naruto opened the door and paused for a moment when he saw the shoes placed in the entryway.

It wasn't just because he saw his father's shoes, who had rarely come home recently, but also because he saw two other pairs of shoes.

A pair of ninja-style sandals and a pair of wooden clogs.

"Are we having guests?"

Naruto pondered for a moment, then changed into slippers and stepped through the entryway, saying gently, "I'm back."

Naruto's voice interrupted the conversation among the people in the hall. Minato, who was sitting on the sofa, was the first to turn around and wave at Naruto: "You're back? Come on over."

Naruto walked into the living room and then he could see the people in the room clearly.

He wasn't surprised to see Uchiha Shisui sitting to his father's left, as this was his father's assistant.

What puzzled him was the man in his fifties or sixties sitting to his father's right, dressed in a black kimono.

"Shimura Danzo?"

A name flashed through Naruto's mind. Although he wasn't very familiar with the Hokage who had assisted him, he knew that this member of the elder council had some kind of conflict with his father.

This left him somewhat confused about his father's intentions.

But his good manners prevented him from showing any doubt. He stood beside his father and bowed slightly to greet the two of them.

Upon seeing Naruto, Shisui smiled gently.

Compared to Itachi, who was the heir to the Uchiha clan, Shisui, who was not bound by his identity, was closer to the Minato family.

This makes him seem like a gentle older brother in front of Naruto.

He was about to greet Naruto when someone next to him beat him to it.

"Oh my, our Konoha genius is back!"

Danzo greeted Naruto with an incredibly gentle smile, radiating an overwhelming sense of warmth and friendliness.

"As expected of Minato's child. However, Minato, I'll say something you might not like to hear: I feel that this child might become an even better ninja than you."

Hearing this, even though he knew it was just empty politeness, he couldn't help but feel a little happy for Naruto, who always looked up to his father.

"Lord Danzo is too kind. Please begin."

Although Minato was still smiling, the coldness in his tone was something even Naruto could hear.

His doubts grew, but his body also subconsciously moved a few steps away from Danzo.

Faced with Minato's blatant disrespect, Danzo's expression froze for a moment, but only for a barely perceptible instant.

He continued to wear that extremely friendly smile as he looked at Naruto, but said nothing more. Instead, he frowned and released an incredibly powerful surge of chakra.

This sudden scene made Naruto tense up, but seeing his father still sitting calmly, he stopped reaching for his ninja tool pouch and stared intently at Danzo in front of him.

Although under Minato's and Kushina's tutelage, Naruto's strength far surpasses that of his peers, and he has also experienced the baptism of Tsukuyomi, even Naruto himself cannot have a clear grasp of his current level.

However, compared to Danzo, a top ninja who had dominated the ninja world for decades, he still seemed somewhat naive.

Naruto only lasted a few minutes before he started to feel breathless, but Danzo seemed oblivious to his trembling body and continued to release chakra.

This made it increasingly difficult for Naruto to cope, but the pressure also made his mind clearer, and a cool feeling kept flowing out of his mind along with the pressure.

After an unknown amount of time, just as Naruto had gotten used to Danzo's pressure, Minato stood up and blocked their way.

"That's fine."

Danzo looked at Minato in front of him, smiled and withdrew his chakra, and said with emotion, "It seems that my prediction was a bit conservative. Minato, Naruto will definitely grow into a powerful ninja no less than you."

But Minato's expression remained unchanged, growing even colder: "Is this your reason for using chakra beyond a genin's tolerance?"

A hint of unease flashed in Danzo's eyes as he tried to cover it up, saying, "Well, how can one grow without experience? Wasn't that why Minato sent me here?"

"go out."

Minato then stopped arguing with Danzo and simply uttered two cold words.

This near-complete breakdown of relations caused Danzo to lose his smile, and his expression turned incredibly cold.

"Minato Namikaze, is this how you treat the elders?"

boom.

The only response Danzo received was a loud bang and a searing pain emanating from his internal organs.

He pressed himself against the wall, staring resentfully at the water gate through the hole, his face flashing with a complex and varied expression before finally settling into calm as he limped away.

After confirming that Danzo had left, Minato's eyes flashed with a hint of apology before turning gentle as he looked at Shisui and Naruto, who were standing to the side, dumbfounded.

"Still water".

Hearing Minato's call, Shisui snapped out of his daze. Although he couldn't understand why the Hokage had broken ties with Danzo, as the Hokage's assistant, he only needed to follow Minato's lead.

"I am here."

"Help me spread this word, say that Shimura Danzo took advantage of the opportunity to teach my son to try to destroy him."

"Yes."

Although Shisui felt increasingly confused, he still accepted the task.

"I need to go to my office, so I'll leave the rest to you."

"Yes."

After speaking with Shisui, Minato looked at Naruto: "Naruto, did you remember the chakra you just used?"

"Ah? Oh, I've got it."

Minato forced a smile: "The village is facing a very important matter right now, so I may not be home often. If you go to that world during this time, remember, if you sense that person's chakra is within 20 meters of you, try not to appear in his sight."

"Also, Danzo in that world should have his eyes wrapped in bandages. If you can't avoid him, and you see him about to take off the bandages, don't hesitate, immediately get out of his sight, understand?"

Seeing the seriousness in Minato's eyes, Naruto nodded vigorously.

Seeing this, Minato finally felt a little relieved.

He turned around, walked towards the hole in the wall, and disappeared without a trace.

Before disappearing, he couldn't help but take a deep look at Naruto.

After Minato left, Shisui, seemingly sensing something, also walked up to Naruto.

"Naruto."

Naruto looked in the direction of the sound and saw that Shisui's pupils were a deep crimson, and within that crimson, a black shuriken was slowly rotating around a black dot in the center of the pupil.

Looking into those sinister eyes, Naruto felt a chill run down his spine.

"These are my eyes, a bloodline limit called the Mangekyou Sharingan, and the eye technique granted to me by these eyes is called Kotoamatsukami."
