Chapter 87 The Power of Psychologists

Soon, Link found Tony Stark. He came up into the air, put Captain America down, and then floated in the air.

Stark looked at it and exclaimed in surprise, "This is your suit?"

"They actually had that kind of trick up their sleeve!"

Link said, "I'm not stupid enough to fly around on a skateboard. I'll leave this to you guys; I can't get involved here."

With that, he flew straight up and looked down at the three people below. Thor, of course, wouldn't give up so easily, and Stark was also asking for a beating, so the two started fighting.

They destroyed many of the surrounding trees, but eventually realized that the two sides were evenly matched, so they stopped.

In the end, they took Loki with them and returned to the Quinjet, then headed towards the Helicarrier.

When they returned to the space carrier, they had already changed back to their original attire. Stark was beside him, bombarding him with questions about his equipment, to which Link could only reply that he didn't understand the technology.

Loki was escorted by a large force to his place of imprisonment, a special cell where, if he tried to break through the wall, he would trigger the decorations below, and the entire cell would be thrown down from a height of ten thousand meters.

The group gathered in the command room and began to analyze the current situation.

"I have a feeling something's not quite right. Loki seems really keen to stay," Nick Fury said. "Lin, you're a psychology expert, what do you think?"

Link said, "If you want to analyze Loki's thoughts, you have to start with intelligence. Hawkeye was captured by him and is willing to work for him, so he must know some things about S.H.I.E.L.D."

"So, how much does Hawkeye know?"

"It seems this space carrier isn't a secret anymore. Does he know anything about Dr. Banner?"

Nick Fury was taken aback, then realized that Hawkeye knew a lot, including about Dr. Banner.

So he said, "Yes, Hawkeye knows. What's next?"

Link continued, "In that case, many things are no longer secrets. Loki deliberately allowed himself to be captured by us, and he has ways to attack us, such as destroying this warship."

"Sol, what do you know?"

Thor said, "Loki has an army, an army of Chitauri, and as far as I know, they are ready to attack."

Link nodded slightly and said again, "So, Loki is planning to use the Tesseract to open a portal and send this army to Earth?"

"But why didn't they just fly over?"

"Why would a massive space fleet fly directly to Earth instead of opening a portal?"

Thor said, "Earth is protected by Asgard, but two years ago, after I returned to Asgard, I destroyed the Bifrost to stop Loki from destroying a planet."

"Loki fell into the darkness of the universe, and we all thought he was dead. I don't think he knew whether the Rainbow Bridge had been repaired."

"If the Rainbow Bridge is repaired, then the fleet heading towards Earth will be intercepted by Asgard."

"By using the Cosmic Cube to open the portal, the Chitauri army will quickly enter Earth to wage war and swiftly conquer you."

Link laughed and said, "Now it seems that we are Loki's biggest obstacle, so it's obvious that he will deal with us first."

"S.H.I.E.L.D. and some powerful individuals, such as Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and especially Hulk."

Bruce Banner laughed and said, "But I can control myself now!"

"That's the problem," Link said. "I remember the director saying that Hawkeye is controlled by Loki's scepter. So there's something wrong with that scepter. Why can it control a person's mind?"

"Now that it's free from Loki's control, can it still function and influence human thought?"

"..." Everyone was stunned; no one had thought of this.

Stark said, "Then what are we waiting for?"

"Banner, we should get to work, partly to find the Tesseract, and partly to examine that scepter."

"Okay!" Banner said, and left with Stark. No one else could help with this except Link.

Link added, "We also need to be wary of Hawkeye. He knows how to board the warship, so we need to raise the defense level."

Black Widow said, "We can let him come up so we can catch him. Hawkeye is just being controlled."

Nick Fury agreed, not wanting to lose Hawkeye, and said, "Agent Hill, get ready. Intercept any Quinjet attempting to land and force them to stop."

"Yes, sir!" Maria Hill always maintained a cool demeanor.

Nick Fury turned to Link. "Link, I need you to talk to Loki."

"Try to understand his true thoughts."

Link raised an eyebrow and said, "I can only try. After all, he's an Asgardian, and I don't know anything about them."

Link stood up and walked out, while Nick Fury fell into deep thought.

Thor began talking to Coulson, while Captain America stood up, preparing to check on Banner and Stark's progress.

Link arrived at the location of the cell. Loki stood inside the cell, which was surrounded by a special transparent material.

Loki looked at Link and laughed, saying, "It really was you."

"Looks like Hawkeye's mouth isn't very reliable," Link said. "He gave you all our information; you know my specialty."

"That's right, what you call psychology on Earth is useless to God," Loki said arrogantly.

Link shook his head and said, "I can tell from the relationship between you brothers that you're just a foolish younger brother."

“…” Loki was stunned for a moment, then became angry. “He’s not my brother.”

"Ha~" Link laughed and said, "Look, he's already angry. Even gods are nothing special."

"Ah~ I see, you want to provoke me?" Loki asked tentatively, "To understand my thoughts when you're angry?"

"No, in my eyes you're just a grown-up kid. By the way, how old are you?" Link suddenly asked.

"Damn it!" Loki hadn't expected that this weak human could provoke him so many times.

Link shook his head and said, "We know something about what happened when Thor came to Earth. You just wanted to gain your father's attention and favor."

"A naughty child will always get the attention of his parents, which is no different from other children on Earth."

"You believe your father neglected you, and since you were adopted, you are even more convinced that your father doesn't love you."

"Still saying you're not a child?"
