Chapter 83 Manufacturing
Chapter 83 Manufacturing
"Ulysses Crow?" Coulson was taken aback. "That guy is quite famous. He does all sorts of things, and he's very strong."
"In my opinion, they're not that strong. After turning off the power, night vision goggles can easily eliminate them." Link made a slight adjustment here. "Why?"
"It's alright. Since it's your private matter, the department won't interfere," Coulson said. "I called today to ask about something: did you get a reactor with a new element from Stark?"
Link suddenly realized what this was about, and said, "That's right, we did get one."
Link actually has two of them now, and he has many new elements, which are currently being manufactured in the automated factory.
Two reactors, one for himself and one for Jessica.
Jessica doesn't need it now, so it's hard to say when she'll need it.
The new element is for use in weapons: smaller energy devices installed in two energy pistols, and large energy weapons for Jessica.
The large energy weapon is inspired by Jinx's weapon and can transform into a machine gun, a shoulder cannon, or even charge up for a powerful shot.
This was designed by Link for Jessica. After all, he didn't want Jessica to fight in close combat. She wasn't him, and she didn't have that much strength. If her superpowers were exposed, it would be hard to explain.
Link added, "The Osborn Group has a flying skateboard. I tried it out, and it works as a flying device."
"After all, although my marksmanship is good, my movement speed is a bit slow, so I had them modify it for me and install an energy source so that I can fly for a longer time."
"It has a longer flight time than Tony's, since it doesn't require releasing energy or supplying the energy consumption of the armor."
Coulson understood and said, "Understood. I will inform the director that your combat capabilities need to be reassessed."
Link said, "No problem!"
The two quickly hung up the phone. Link's identity was different now, but Nick Fury was definitely a cunning guy, even more ruthless than his face.
Knowing his own situation, he will inevitably adjust how he uses himself in the future, but Link isn't in a hurry right now.
He gave his original apartment to Frank and McCall, so they no longer had to rent a place, and there were parking spaces in the underground parking lot. Link even provided them with a car.
So every morning they would drive to the Osborne Building, pick Jessica up for work, and then drop her off after get off work.
Finally, only one gym is left!
Link doesn't own many properties. He doesn't buy property casually because real estate is of little use to him. A small villa on the West Coast is enough for him.
Link wouldn't go anywhere else. Owning too many properties was useless to him. He preferred the penthouse in the Osborne Tower, where sunbathing was a real treat.
Link plans to renovate the gym, since he already has one in his mansion, which, after some special modifications, will be sufficient for him and Jessica to train with.
The standalone gym was no longer of any use, so Link planned to modify it and turn it into a workspace.
This workshop is specifically for modifying cars. He was preparing to upgrade his Saab Ban. Considering future combat needs, he needed a mobile arsenal, so this large SUV was perfect.
I'm using it to carry weapons right now, but I don't need it for the time being, though I'll definitely need it in the future.
Furthermore, S.H.I.E.L.D. will be using Quinjet fighters in the future, and Tony Stark may already be providing him with technical guidance, though Link may not know it.
The primary function of this fighter jet is transportation; its main weapon is a rotary machine gun, and its primary role is to transport personnel.
A Quinjet can transport a S.H.I.E.L.D. combat team and its necessary equipment, but Link believes that some modifications can be made. Apart from the pilot and co-pilot seats, some other things can be removed, and it can ultimately be used to transport his own vehicle.
The flying skateboard is responsible for supplying ammunition to itself, so it needs to be paired with a vehicle. The flying skateboard can also be kept in the vehicle.
The only downside is that we can't use armored vehicles, which are heavier and larger, and the future Quinjet fighter jets certainly won't be able to fit them. Maybe a large SUV would be a good fit.
……
Jessica returned to her penthouse apartment. "Alfred, where's Lin?"
"Miss Jessica, the master is working downstairs." The artificial intelligence Alfred solved the problem of the house being too big and not being able to find a boyfriend.
Jessica, wearing high heels, went down to the automated factory and found Link busy at his workbench.
Upon walking over, I discovered that Link was using a holographic projection. It was just a holographic projection on the workbench; Link hadn't made it too big.
Holographic projection requires illumination from all directions, which is not suitable for installation here. Even Tony Stark did not install a large holographic projection on the top floor of Stark Tower.
Link turned to Jessica and asked, "How is it?"
"This is a platinum necklace set with 108 diamonds of the same size, eighteen of which are arranged in a heart shape!"
Jessica said with a smile, "It's beautiful!"
"Good!" Link said, seeing his girlfriend's satisfaction. He then ordered, "Alfred, begin the construction!"
After Link finished speaking, he got up, pulled Jessica back upstairs, and the two went to the kitchen to cook.
They rarely eat out, and most of the time they cook at home. They are very homebodies, unless it's for necessary social occasions or when they're with Tracy.
Thanks to the investment from Jessica's Charitable Foundation, Tracy has completely taken control of her radio show, saying whatever she wants, and the show's producers have no say in it.
Because the foundation doesn't care about the number of listeners, its main selling point is that it's rich and willful, and Tracy has also let herself go.
After having dinner, the two looked for interesting TV programs. The battle suit was not yet finished, mainly because the nanoscale processing was very fast and required a lot of time.
The processing of vibranium is particularly difficult and takes several days. However, it has its advantages, namely the durability of vibranium. Once it is completed, Link almost never needs to process it again.
At the same time, the vibranium material should be able to withstand the Infinity Stones, so Link can wear them directly on his finger after obtaining the stones.
Vibranium is indeed a great thing; it solved most of Link's problems. I'll definitely try to get more of it when I have the chance.
It's just that my current situation makes it inconvenient; otherwise, I could have sent Ulysses Klaue to Wakanda in exchange for a lot of vibranium.
