Chapter 70 Revision Plan

Link kept revising his plans. In less than two years, he had revised them several times because his identity and social status were constantly changing.

From a lowly policeman to a billionaire, his journey has been so rapid that he's finding it hard to adjust.

He started by buying a house and a car, and buying designer brands for Jessica, but only now has he realized some of the problems.

Those billionaires don't buy luxury goods; the middle class is the biggest buyer of luxury goods. Link is a nouveau riche, but he is a nouveau riche with real power.

He plans to join the Avengers in the future and try to obtain one or two Infinity Stones, a process that will require him to conceal his true strength.

At most, he would be a slightly more powerful agent. Of course, he would also need a high social status so that the authorities could not easily manipulate him, a fact he had only recently realized.

My previous studies were all for the purpose of developing my own nanosuit. After all, I can keep my strength hidden, but I must have a suit.

Both he and Jessica require vibranium-based nanosuits for self-protection and cover, especially since vibranium has the ability to absorb kinetic energy.

Link is still debating whether S.H.I.E.L.D. should disappear, but improving his own status and having more freedom of choice, without being controlled by the authorities, is enough for him.

Link's thinking is slowly changing, and this has nothing to do with a super brain; it's about politics, something he didn't quite understand before.

What inspired him was the Hammer Corporation. Although Justin Hammer was arrested and the Hammer Corporation's stock price plummeted, it still did not collapse because the military needed it to continue to exist.

Link was inspired by this and then looked into the Pym Corporation and the Osborn Group. Link chose the Osborn Group, as he was confident he could cure Norman Osborn and his son.

If he recovers, Link will have a competent CEO, provided that the CEO is willing to cooperate with him.

Additionally, Link plans to try and see if Richard Parker left any message for his son.

In The Amazing Spider-Man, the Roosevelt Secret Station is mentioned, and Link is planning to visit it. He searches online and buys a special coin used at the secret station.

Richard Parker used his own genetically modified experimental spiders, the key to which was a decay formula, but perhaps more detailed information was left there.

Link is going to see if it will be of any use to him, provided that it exists.

"Why did you think of me today?" Frank asked.

"I need your help with something, let's go!" He gestured for Frank to get in the car, and after he got in, asked, "Are you settling in well at work?"

"It's alright, after all, it's just being a bodyguard, and your girlfriend doesn't go to any shady places, so the job is pretty easy," Frank said. "It's just too easy."

"Heh~ Many people want to do this but don't have the chance. You can practice more often," Link said.

"That driver is no ordinary person, did you know that?" Frank suddenly added.

"I know, I've checked his information. He's faked his death and escaped, so there shouldn't be any problems." Link didn't hide anything. To be precise, he trusted Frank more, after all, the two had done a lot together.

Frank nodded and said, "He is indeed living a very peaceful life. He spends his days reading books, saying he wants to finish reading a hundred books, which was his wife's last wish."

"It's clear he misses his wife very much. It's good that you know this, but you certainly know how to choose people."

Link laughed and said, "Of course I have to consider Jessica's safety. After all, I'm a billionaire now, and it's inevitable that some people will try to take advantage of her."

"More than three hundred lives are enough to scare everyone. Even if there are a few individuals, they will find it difficult to obtain information about me because no one dares to tell them."

Frank gasped, "How did you do that?"

"A remote-controlled bomb detonated directionally on the sand dunes, bringing the helicopter down, followed by a sandstorm," Link said. "Then I approached and took them down one by one. My marksmanship is excellent, as is my throwing knife."

"I've seen throwing knives before, they're fast!" Frank had seen throwing knives before, at Billy Russell's house, but he had never seen marksmanship.

But just thinking about it, it's unimaginable that three hundred people would be able to resolve the situation in such a short time; their actions would have to be incredibly fast and precise.

Keep in mind that continuous firing has recoil and also consumes physical strength, especially in the desert.

Soon, they arrived at a subway entrance. The two got off the train and entered the subway station, but they weren't there to ride the subway. They walked to the edge and jumped off, then walked along the subway line.

They hadn't walked far when they saw a blocked-off fork in the road. Frank asked curiously, "There's a fork in the road here?"

"Haven't you heard of Roosevelt's secret station?" Link then bent down, crawled through the opening below, and climbed onto the platform. Sure enough, it was Roosevelt Station.

There was only one coin slot. He took out the coin he had bought and inserted it. Frank looked around curiously and said, "What are we waiting for?"

As soon as he finished speaking, there was a loud roar. Link turned around and looked behind him. The middle of the track had cracked open, and then a carriage rose up.

"My God!" Frank exclaimed, "Unbelievable, there's something like this here!"

Link said, "That's why it's hidden. Let's go up and take a look."

After the carriage came to a stop, the door was open, and Link went straight up. There was a lot of data and a computer inside. After looking through it, he confirmed that these were things left behind by Richard Parker.

Furthermore, it was a secret he was researching. Link didn't watch the video Richard Parker left behind; he just took the data himself and left the video for Spider-Man!

Whether he could find out or not, Link had at least left him something, and he felt no guilt because he had kept the most precious video of Spider-Man.

Frank was actually there to be a mover. The two of them needed to take everything out in one go to avoid having to make another trip. Link sorted everything out, packed all the documents into two boxes, and left only after making sure nothing was missing.
