Chapter 91 Armor? Against me?

Chapter 91 Armor? Against me?

"You madman, are you trying to destroy the whole world?!"

After hearing Connors' description, Batman threw a punch and cursed.

Connors neither dodged nor evaded; only when the fist was about to touch him did his originally robust body suddenly become extremely short, like a dwarf.

This is the newly acquired "mimicry," which he imitates a passerby he once saw on the side of the road in Gotham—the one who defecated in the street.

Batman's punch aimed at Connors' face missed, but as Connors's body shrank,

Without hesitation, Batman kicked one foot up with a whoosh.

The "little trick" taught by Master Tang allowed Connors to easily dodge the kick, taking two steps back to return to his original position.

"Every time you use an ability you've never used before, Connors, and this time is no different."

'

Batman swiftly and fiercely threw out two batarangs, saying...

He didn't expect the dart to hit Connors, nor did he expect it to cause any harm.

He simply took advantage of Connors being distracted by dealing with the batarangs to quickly close in on him and engage in hand-to-hand combat.

"You know, when I discovered that signal transmitter, I knew this event was bound to happen sooner or later. I just accelerated the timeline."

Connors stepped back again, now standing on the feed cabin of the radio telescope.

Even while speaking, Connors "precisely manipulated" his knees to turn white.

Then, through a combination of "reversal magic" and "healing magic," he transferred his injuries to Batman, while he himself remained completely unharmed.

Batman's knees turned white as he rapidly approached Connors; his legs buckled, and the distance between him and Connors widened considerably.

"Cindy, I'm sorry, but you have to go back," Connors said to Cindy. "I can handle him."

Cindy Muen nodded, said nothing, and gracefully launched her spider silk away.

"Click!"

Connors simply removed the white from his knees and transferred it to Batman.

This is just a reverse "healing magic," and Batman will recover quickly.

But at that moment, Bruce Wayne twisted his hands forcefully, pressing his whitened knee back down, and gritted his teeth as he looked at Connors:

"Since you knew that an intrusion might occur in the future, why did you deliberately make it happen prematurely?"

"We could have been prepared for all of this."

Without waiting for the "healing magic" to take effect, Batman, who was setting his own bones, pulled out a small pistol from his waist and fired it with a "biu".

That didn't seem to be a bullet. Although it was quite fast, it didn't even tear Connors' clothes when it hit him; instead, it exploded.

Connors curiously leaned in to smell it. "What is this?" he asked, only to choke on his own saliva.

"Holy crap, lime?"

"That's alright," he took another deep breath, then used "reverse magic" and "healing magic" to transfer the intense stimulation of his senses to Batman.

As Batman once again attempted to approach Connors, he couldn't help but sneeze.

"Save your energy, sir, you can't beat me," Connors said.

Bruce Wayne sneezed several times in a row, and Connors took a deep breath of the pungent, burning lime, enduring the intense discomfort. He was in extreme pain, but still stood upright, facing Connors:

"I'm not some kind of master, I'm Batman."

"Okay, okay, I understand." Connors said in a tone that sounded like he was coaxing a child.

The tone sounded strangely familiar to Batman, and he quickly recalled that Connors had said the same thing to Bane in the early hours of the morning.

Batman pressed a button on his body.

Connors ignored Batman pressing the button and answered his earlier question:

"If you need me to speak up before you can come up with a solution, what if I'm not there?"

"If I were you, upon learning that the world has no future, I would immediately team up with Superman and take over the world's government through violent means."

"I will keep all the weapons under my care, and everyone will undergo genetic testing."

"I will be prepared in space, deep sea, underground, and anywhere that may pose a threat, and I will kill all the evildoers who already exist."

Batman was panting heavily; his lungs were now riddled with holes from the inhaled lime, but were rapidly recovering under the healing magic.

"Haven't you ever considered that every single thing that happens could be the event that causes the future to disappear?"

"The Atlantis incident, this invasion, the group in New York—and the bodies of those three Kryptonians in Metropolis have still not been found."

"If we don't prepare for what could be a global crisis every time, how can we better turn the tide of the future?"

None of the villains behind these events possessed the power to wipe out the entire world in an instant; they were merely spectators I needed to enhance my strength.

Connors pursed his lips and asked:

"Okay, after all this talk, what's the button you pressed for? Why isn't it working?"

No sooner had the words left his mouth than the roar of fighter jets filled the sky. Under the Gotham moonlight, Batwing almost drifted through the air, dropping a massive vertical drop pod.

The vertical launch module landed precisely on the support frame of the radio telescope, and its enormous weight even dented the exceptionally rigid support frame, embedding a large section of it into the frame.

Connors' eyes lit up:

"What is this?"

Batman wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, which was gushing out from his lung injury, and slowly retreated to the front of the vertical bay, facing Connors.

With a kick of his heel, the hatch of the vertical bay opened, revealing a space just big enough to accommodate Batman.

Connors was incredibly curious, and at the same time, he had a vague guess.

Batman stepped into the vertical bay, where the sounds of mechanical assembly and electrical currents immediately filled the air. A few seconds later, he emerged.

Batman, whose back had not yet recovered, was already wearing that heavy and massive power armor, making him even larger than Bane.

But the Batman who emerged from the vertical shaft was now a completely different size from before.

You can tell from the arms that this new suit of armor is probably about three centimeters thick. And because it is adapted to the original power armor, the new suit of armor is also much larger, with a height of more than three and a half meters, and even approaching four meters.

The metallic material is indistinguishable due to the matte black paint, but the bat emblem on the chest, the pair of bright eyes on the head, and the ribbons and thrusters that replace the cape on the back are all distinctive features.

After just two glances, Connors clapped his hands:

"Holy crap, this outfit is awesome! Is this your new toy? Let me open it."

With a heavy stomp that caused the support structure to collapse, Batman's deep, muffled voice, concealed within his massive suit of armor, rang out:

"Our philosophies are different. After I defeat you, I will try to read your memories and make all the necessary preparations."

"Besides, this isn't a toy, Connors; it's a gift I prepared for you."

"This is the 'Anti-Outsider Armor'."

Centered on the armor, a crackling electromagnetic field instantly appeared, while the armor gradually became transparent.

Batman is using the "Kusama" stealth, "Lock-Picking Master," and "Driving Master" abilities that he previously showcased before defending himself against Connors.

The invisibility was to prevent Connors from locking onto the armor and casting a reverse "healing spell".

Connors stroked his chin, looking the Transformer-like armor, which was gradually disappearing from head to toe, and wished he could drag Batman out and go inside to drive it himself.

However, after hearing Lord Wayne's words from inside the armor, Connors shook his head:

"You can't beat me."
