Chapter 60: Joining the Injustice Society while wearing the Justice Society ring.

"Finally, I can take a break," Connors exclaimed sincerely.

During his brief rest, he began making arrangements on his way to the "Injustice Association" to facilitate subsequent operations.

During this time, he made a show of visiting the cemetery in the seaside town, lingered for a while in front of a row of tombstones, and then rode away towards the sea.

The story doesn't specify the location of the "Injustice League," but judging from its appearance, it's an isolated island, so it should be not far from the coastal city.

Connors rode his horse to the beach, where it was deserted. However, at the amusement park by the sea, the carousel, Ferris wheel, and other rides were playing music and spinning.

The "Master Driver" can master any vehicle, including ships. The sea was turbulent, but it was no challenge for him. After setting sail, he swam toward the only island in sight.

Inside the manor where the Justice Society was located, Hal, the Green Lantern, suddenly clutched his forehead:

"I suddenly feel sluggish, how strange—"

He had been in poor condition ever since he arrived in the coastal city and underwent an electromagnetic scan.

"The Flash" Barry didn't miss any opportunity to make up for his previous impulsive mistakes, and helped Hal Jordan up.

"A glass of hot milk might make you feel better," said "Speed," who was wearing a red baseball cap.

"We can also make some fresh cookies," said the black-haired, blonde "Black Siren," tugging at Selena's arm. "Let them talk it over; how about we go make some cookies?"

Batman instinctively wanted to stop them because he found the city too strange, and the Justice Society members were also somewhat odd; he instinctively didn't want to have much contact with them.

Inside the house, the time-traveling "Superman" Clark, "Batman" Bruce Wayne, and "Flash" Barry watched this scene of police and heroes being one big family and remained somewhat silent.

But now was clearly not the time to think about that. "Swift" took the envelope back to the manor and opened it.

The Justice Society's mascot, Ray Thompson, immediately came over:

"Good heavens, what does the letter say?"

"Swiftly," he opened the envelope and read aloud earnestly:

"To the Justice Society—"

This letter was the very declaration of war written by Connors.

Selena Gomez, who plays Catwoman, might steal jewelry or a piece of art in Gotham at most, but she immediately associated this arrogant villainous behavior with the Joker.

"The Joker broadcasts his crimes live on television to provoke Batman, but these criminals actually choose to challenge the entire Justice Society?"

"Green Guardian," a white-haired, seemingly oldest member, confirmed "Catwoman" Selena's statement:

"Yes, I doubt whether they have even the slightest bit of kindness."

"Swift" had already finished reading the letter, and his gaze lingered on the final signature:

"Injustice Society - Connors? Who's that?"

As soon as he finished speaking, Batman, Superman, and the others stopped what they were doing.

"Superman" Clark instinctively felt that Connors might have some kind of hardship, which was why he had to do something that "betrayed" them, and immediately set off to find him.

Batman Wayne frowned once again; he had already gleaned a great deal of information from Connors's letters:

1. At this point, the Justice Society had a total of ten people including them, while the so-called criminals numbered five, meaning that the other side, including Connors, had a maximum of five people.

2. Connors said he was going out to dig his own grave, but once he left, he transformed into a member of the Injustice Society. He must have left a message at the cemetery.

3. The police delivered the letter just minutes after Connors left, meaning he wrote it, and it was very likely written before he contacted the Injustice Society.

This means that he might go to the Injustice Society and, under the pretext that "the challenge has been issued," have the members of the Injustice Society carry out the crimes they have already planned.

While "Batman" Bruce Wayne was thinking, "John Wick" spoke up:

"Heroes from another Earth, the Justice Society needs your help."

Selena Gomez, who plays Catwoman, walked out of the kitchen:

"I'll handle Connors."

"Sister, I'll go with you." The "Black Siren" wearing black stockings said with a smile, holding freshly baked cookies in her hands.

"Swift" nodded to them. Connors seemed to be just an ordinary person with a strange mount, so it was perfect for "Catwoman" and "Black Siren" to deal with him.

Incidentally, he also gave the mascot a few instructions:

"Ray Thompson, go get the decoding ring."

Without saying a word, the boy hurriedly ran to a bookshelf and took out a box of rings from a hidden compartment.

"East, West, South, North, and Center, Justice Society - Connors."

"If you're not a member of the Justice Society, why are you wearing that ring?!" the music bandit roared, pointing at Connors and reaching behind him to pull out a flute and start playing.

"If I were a member of the Justice Society, why would I swagger in front of you alone, wearing a ring so openly?"

Connors smiled and flashed the ring on his hand at the members of the "Injustice Society" in front of him, saying:

"Wouldn't it be more effective if I took it off, concealed my identity, and blended in with you?"

"—But?" The music bandit was about to speak again when he was interrupted by an old man with a turban, who looked like an ancient Arabian sorcerer:

"He put the ring directly on his finger, and no matter what we said, he had an impeccable answer."

"Why don't we ask this guy, who decided to wear the 'Justice Association' ring, what can he bring us by joining the 'Injustice Association'?"

This question really stumped Connors. After thinking about it carefully for a while, he said:

"I can bring you a new member."
