In an American comic book world, you start with a horse charm.

As Miller was preparing to leave, something suddenly occurred to him. "Mr. Osborne, do you have an intern named Gwen Stacy in your company?"

Norman Osborne glanced curiously at Miller and Natasha beside him, while his assistant quickly stepped forward to report on Gwen Stacy.

"Yes, Mr. Miller, she's an excellent employee. May I ask what brings you here?"

"It's nothing. I just met her father, George Stacy, who bragged to me about how outstanding his daughter was, even joining your company as an intern before graduating. I was even thinking of hiring her into my company," Miller casually gave a reason.

"Really? Then..."

"No, no, we're leaving now, Mr. Osborne." Miller waved his hand and left Osborne Estate with Natasha.

After Miller finished walking, his assistant stepped forward and asked, "Mr. Osborn, should we keep an eye on Miss Gwen?"

Norman Osborn waved his hand. "No need, everything as usual."

In the car, Natasha asked with amusement, "What, have you taken a fancy to that girl?"

Miller said speechlessly, "I already said I just suddenly thought of this person and asked casually."

Natasha scoffed, "You think I believe you or not?"

Miller tapped Natasha on the head to stop her from overthinking, then started pondering. Natasha, clutching her head where Miller had hit her, decided she wouldn't let him into bed that night.

"Since Gwen is there, we can rule out the third generation. And since Harry Osborn is abroad, the most likely candidate is the second generation?" Miller had just asked Natasha to send someone to investigate in detail when he suddenly thought of something. "Speaking of which, is that Spider-Man related to me? The strongest villain in the three versions, the Green Goblin, couldn't last a single round against me."

Once Miller thought of this, he immediately stopped caring about it.

Three days later, Harry Osborn went to Miller's house, after all, he dared not let a big shot of the same caliber as his father come to his house to treat him.

Miller hadn't read many Marvel comics; his knowledge of Marvel was limited to the 20-odd Marvel movies and a few spin-off series. He hadn't watched many movies after Avengers: Endgame, except for those on video platforms. The thought of this gave Miller, who had been enjoying three comfortable months, a headache. He wondered if he should go see Dr. Pym, since his quantum channel technology was a key element of time travel.

While Miller was still pondering how to deal with these two problems, he saw Captain America, Steve Rogers, come knocking on his door.

"S.H.I.E.L.D. is in trouble! Nick Fury has been assassinated!" Captain America and Agent Hill, dressed in civilian clothes, solemnly informed Miller of this important news. "And I suspect that there's a high probability that S.H.I.E.L.D. has been taken over by Hydra."

Miller checked the time and found that it was only 2011. It felt like all the timelines were moving forward. And since the plot had changed like this, why did Hydra still have to show up?

Did they not know that Nick Fury possessed the Captain Marvel summoner?

Miller learned the general outline of what had happened after the captain recounted the events.

Under the threat of the Secret Agents, S.H.I.E.L.D. secretly launched Project Insight. After the Secret Agents announced that they would occupy New York in three days following the Battle of New York, Project Insight received support from almost all the top officials in the United States.

However, it was clearly impossible to completely complete the deployment of the entire Insight Project in just three days. But after the Mysterious One was defeated and sealed in the battle three days later, the higher-ups decided to suspend the Insight Project. However, since the Mysterious One was only sealed, the Insight Project continued under the persuasion of former S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Pierce.

But when the current director, Nick Fury, tried to check on the progress of Project Insight, he suddenly found that he did not have the authority to do so. The experienced Fury immediately realized that something was wrong and prepared to stop Project Insight, but was suddenly attacked by a mysterious man and seriously injured to death. Meanwhile, Agent Hill, who was in charge of driving, managed to escape in time and found the person she trusted most, Captain America.

Captain America then chose to seek help from Miller and his companion.

Well, the plot is similar to Captain America 2, the only difference being that the speed of Project Insight is greatly accelerated due to the threat of the Mysterious Ones. But how will they deal with Captain Marvel? Could it be that the pager can only be used once? Or did they steal it beforehand? But this question can't be asked, because Miller can't explain how he knew about the pager.

But there's one question Miller can ask: "Why don't you ask Tony? He's the right fit! What can we do?" He'd actually been curious about this ever since he watched Captain America 2.

Captain America said, "Because Tony can't be contacted anymore."

"Huh?!" Miller and Natasha were extremely surprised.

Just as the two were trying to ask why, a sudden, deafening bang rang out, and a rocket blasted a large crater into Miller's house. The impact of the explosion sent numerous shards of glass flying towards the four people inside.

Miller immediately pulled Natasha into his arms, and Captain America also tackled Hill to the ground.

At the same time, a mysterious man wearing a mask and with one arm rushed in, grabbed a machine gun, and began firing at Captain America and Hill.

Miller knew who he was, of course: Bucky, the Winter Soldier.
