American Comics: When the Police Comes to Knock on the Door

Richard put his cell phone away. It had been more than a week since he bought Stark's stock. The stock price had risen slightly, which made him feel good recently.

After putting on their police uniforms and equipment, Richard and Louisa met up. After getting walkie-talkies from the workbench, they walked towards the police car. They were working the evening shift today.

"You've been staring at your phone lately." Luisa asked.

"I recently invested in a stock."

“Looks like it’s not bad.”

"It's okay." Richard couldn't help but raise the corners of his mouth.

The two were about to get into the car when a police car stopped next to them. The person in the car lowered the window and said to Richard: "Richard, can you tell me why you are with the traitor?"

The speaker's name was Donald, who was also a police officer in the precinct.

"Get out of here." Louisa shouted angrily at Donald.

Donald curled his lips and responded: "If it were me, I wouldn't tell my colleagues to get out. But you are good at this."

Richard bent down and blocked Donald's car window. Richard looked into Donald's eyes and said softly: "Stop it, okay?"

"Wilson was a good cop, and she," Donald continued, pointing over Richard's shoulder at Louisa, "stabbed Wilson in the back."

Richard grabbed Donald's arm and pushed Donald's arm back into the police car.

"Let's stop here, before we cause any trouble."

"If anything happens, it will happen to you, Richard. You should be careful about the partner behind you." After saying that, Donald turned the steering wheel and drove away.

Richard turned back to comfort Louisa.

"That's an asshole, don't take it personally."

Louisa breathed out.

"Maybe. But everyone agrees with what he said, including you."

Looking at Louisa's disappointed expression, Richard wanted to say something, but when he opened his mouth, he didn't know what to say.

In silence, the two began tonight's patrol.

The atmosphere in the car returned to what it was when the two first started working together. In addition to being awkward, it seemed that they couldn't even watch the radio anymore.

"This is David, Center 1, please be informed that a commercial burglary has occurred at 145 West 0th Street."

"Report David No. 1 to confirm that we have received the police call."

Richard turned on the siren, turned around, and drove towards his destination.

This is a medium-sized pharmaceutical supermarket, and the door made of tempered glass was shattered on the ground.

Richard and Louisa cautiously entered the supermarket and walked towards the illuminated medicine section.

Louisa was on guard behind Richard, who hid behind the shelves and glanced at the medicine section.

A criminal is carrying medicines from the shelf into his bag.

Richard pulled out his gun and pointed it at one of them and shouted: "Police, don't move, put your hands up."

The two criminals glanced at Richard and turned around and ran along the shelves. Richard hesitated and did not shoot. He did not want to be called for a psychological evaluation again for shooting. He put away the pistol and pointed at the two criminals. The criminal gave chase, and Louisa followed.

The two criminals ran to the end of the shelf aisle and then scattered left and right. Richard followed closely behind. Just as he was about to reach the end of the shelf, he suddenly noticed a figure on the ground. He did not stop, but chose to roll on the spot. .

A "bang" gunshot sounded. The person hiding aside did not expect that Richard would get out. Although he pulled the trigger, the muzzle of the gun was too high. He quickly tried to adjust the pistol and pointed it at Richard. But Richard would never give him a chance.

In order to prevent the opponent from having people on the left and right sides of the aisle, Richard immediately kicked off the ground with one foot after rolling, leaned over and rushed towards the back of the figure. He wanted to use this person as a cover.

When approaching this person, Richard punched the opponent's lower body with a right hook. Then he quickly turned around and came behind the opponent. He strangled the opponent's left arm with his left hand, grabbed the opponent's right hand with his right hand, and then violently punched inward. He broke it off and removed the opponent's pistol.

This man was hit so hard on his vitals that he couldn't even scream. He kept gasping for air, his face turned red, and he didn't know it was because of the pain.
