Pokémon the Second Reality

I just looked at the calendar and it turned out to be February 2st, the fifth day of the lunar calendar.

Last night, a good friend of mine left for Zhengzhou to kick off the new year's work. This morning, my cousin also drove to hb’s workplace.

I feel a little panicked for no reason. I don’t know if it’s because my return date is approaching or I have other uneasiness. In short, it’s hard to do anything calmly, so I’m here to talk.

I just lament that the days we get together are too short, and the wanderers' steps are too hasty. I stubbornly haven’t bought a high-speed rail ticket for SH yet, but I know this day will come.

I am an authentic child from the Dabie Mountains, and my family conditions are very poor. In the early years, my parents went to Wuhan to work and earn a living. I lived alone in my hometown, and I had been free-range since junior high school. But whether in middle school or college, there are always winter and summer vacations. The days spent with parents are not long, but they are not short either.

After going to work, like everyone else, I can only go home twice a year, once during the National Day and once during the Spring Festival. Every time we get together, it feels like we are on a business trip; we are obviously going back to our own home, but it feels like we are staying in a hotel. And our parents, who were once in their prime, are really old.

How many more separations will we experience?

I wonder if the whole world is like us Chinese, and quite a few of them spend the rest of their lives “fleeing”.
