Chapter 79 A Chocolate Kiss

Draco Malfoy stared in disbelief at the dark-haired girl's retreating figure.

When he first saw the girl carrying the chocolate frog, a faint sense of anticipation and joy rose in his heart, creating a ripple on the lake of his soul. However, before these small ripples could develop into waves, they were mercilessly blown away by a cold wind.

The girl with black hair and gray eyes left just like that—without even leaving behind that damned box of chocolate frogs.

Draco Malfoy didn't believe she brought the Chocolate Frog to the school hospital to get the Tooth-Strengthening Potion for that chubby, tearful Longbottom—coincidentally, Blaise Zabini thought so too.

“It’s getting late, we should head back,” Blaise suggested at the opportune moment. “Let Draco get some rest.”

Pansy really wanted to stay and talk to Draco alone, but seeing that everyone else had followed Blaise's advice and Draco looked tired, she reluctantly left as well.

Not far down the corridor from the school hospital, Blaise suddenly seemed to remember something: "You guys go back to the common room first. I'm going back to the school hospital to check on some things with Draco."

But when Blaise reached the entrance of the school hospital, he didn't stop. Instead, he walked through the corridor and turned into another corridor from the other end.

Lyra never expected that she and the group of Slytherins would leave the school hospital one after the other, and she certainly never expected that she would encounter a handsome dark-skinned man with long, narrow, golden-brown eyes on her way back to the Gryffindor common room.

However, this handsome guy's height had shrunk somewhat since summer vacation. He was probably only slightly taller than her, unlike after taking the age-enhancing drug and becoming an adult, when he was much taller than her.

Leila stopped and gave the dark-skinned...handsome young man leaning against the corner of the wall a very obvious once-over.

“Oh, Honey, the way you're looking me up and down is really hurtful,” Bress Zabini exaggeratedly clutched his chest, as if his heart would shatter into dust if Leila looked at him one more time.

"Don't worry, you'll be back to your summer height once you're an adult~" Leila teased her with a smile.

“Honey, you’re so cruel—” Blaise said mournfully, “not only do you expose my wounds, but you also rub salt into them.”

Lyra chuckled softly, then leaned against the wall like Blaise, yawning lazily.

Blaise took the box of chocolate frogs from Lyra's hand: "Honey, you were just about to visit Draco, weren't you?"

Leila raised an eyebrow but did not answer.

Blaise, with a jealous expression, opened the box and ate one of the chocolate frogs. Now, Lyra could no longer give that box of chocolate frogs away to anyone else.

It seems I need to give Nave a box of strawberry candy as a gift to make up for using him as a shield earlier.

After Blaise Zabini ate a chocolate frog himself, seeing that Leila was unmoved by his actions, he took another chocolate frog out of the box and personally handed it to Leila's mouth.

Lyra, who was very familiar with the food her pen pal fed her, naturally ate the chocolate frog. After being fed two chocolates in a row, another chocolate frog was offered to Lyra's mouth—but this time she could feel its hot breath, and when she turned her head, she was met with a pair of golden brown eyes.

Blaise leaned down, the close proximity causing the temperature between them to rise rapidly. In the sweet-smelling air, the two shared the same piece of chocolate.

With a gentle lick on their tongues, the chocolate gradually melted, spreading to their entire taste buds. The melted chocolate syrup slid down their throats, and after slowly swallowing, the two quietly savored the remaining flavor.

Blaise's gaze lingered on the dark-haired girl's small, rosy lips. He leaned forward again, lowered his head, and took her lips into his mouth, gently sucking on them, wanting to taste more of their sweetness.

Before he knew it, Leila had wrapped her arms around his neck and gently closed her eyes.

Blaise tightened his embrace, holding her tightly in his arms until the scent of chocolate gradually dissipated...

Finally, Blaise gave the dark-haired girl's lips a satisfied bite.

"From now on, you can only eat chocolate with me, honey."

When Lyra returned to the Gryffindor common room, she found that none of her acquaintances were there.

George, Fred, and Lee Jordan were all absent, probably off somewhere having fun; the other Weasleys were also gone, even Harry and Hermione weren't chatting in the corner as usual.

When Leila went upstairs and returned to her dorm room, she found that not only was the entire room empty, but there wasn't even a dog.

Yes, even her little swallowtail dog has disappeared.

Lyra sighed, not too worried. The pets at Hogwarts often went out to play on their own, but they generally didn't leave their owners' side for long. She was confident her dog would obediently return on its own at bedtime.

She came back to get a box of cream-filled toffee.

That's right, she plans to visit the young master Platinum again later, whose condition is still unknown.

Perhaps tonight is destined to be a night when no one is in Gryffindor Tower.

Leila's visit to the sick went very smoothly.

He didn't encounter any acquaintances on the way, nor was he attacked by Pippi's water balloon. There were no other visitors at the school hospital, only Platinum Young Master.

Draco Malfoy sat on his hospital bed, leaning against the pillows as he read a comprehensive guide to European potion ingredients.

Hearing footsteps, he immediately looked up. When he saw that it was the dark-haired Gryffindor girl who had left without a trace that afternoon, leaving not even a box of chocolate frogs, his face tightened, his chin slightly raised, displaying a noble and aloof attitude.

"..." Leila looked at the platinum young master, who was putting on an arrogant aristocratic posture, with amusement. She had only refrained from visiting him immediately to avoid trouble, so why was he holding such a grudge?

"What, you finally remembered you have a patient who needs your visit?" Draco Malfoy's first words were icy sarcasm.

The platinum young master, who thought he was being sufficiently aloof, was actually quite different in Lyra's eyes—

The boy with delicate features, dressed in a hospital gown, leaned against the pillow. His face was pale, and his moon-like hair fell smoothly on both sides of his face. He looked more fragile than usual, but also had a strange charm. Even with his face tense and his head held high, he still looked stubbornly cute.

It's like a Ragdoll cat with gray-blue eyes and light golden fur, waving its little paw at its owner with a haughty air, complaining that its owner didn't serve it some dried fish on time.
